And here I am at the edge of my seat (just past three months) for my fullset Aooni

 

I ordered the Alice 01 Fullset on September 1st and I’m exceedingly excited

 

Still waiting for Rinku I've seen the first photos of his sculpt on instagram so I'm getting excited.
How long did it take Ringdoll to ship out fullset dolls in the past? I've ordered him through a UK dealer and she said that a wait time of 4-5 months should be expected. Soooo long! But I'm sure he'll be worth the wait

 

I'm currently doing a Layaway for a Apprentice Hui fullset... I can't wait to get him!!

 

I started my layaway for the Alice01 Fullset on 08/30! I didn't think I'd ever buy a doll that I didn't develop a character for first but shes just so cute! I have to start preparing a space for her and for when Hui arrives.. I hope he comes before the end of the year!

 

So many alice01!! I'm so excited for her. My laptop broke down so she'll have to borrow clothes from my other dolls and use a temporary wig and eyes and no faceup until i can get a new laptop and such but im still very excited for her.

 

Ordered a blank/nude Ashford EVO yesterday morning!

Congrats all! Ringdoll fullsets are the bomb! I have three of them, but a bunch of other Ringdolls too.

 

Ring doll puts more effort in to their fullsets than any company I've seen. They also really seem to care about customers. This is my first order from them but I've admired them for a long while. The wait time is about 3-5 months is that correct?

With the event discount I am so tempted to get more Ringdoll bodies to replace some of my older single jointed ones.

 

Hey, thought I'd pop in here because I ordered Ashford EVO. I have him on a six month layaway, but I'm not sure if he'll arrive before the end of it. My Qingzhe and Meng He fullsets both took around 4-5 months, but I get the feeling Ringdoll's wait times have increased since then. Weren't some people waiting for the Red King for almost nine months, or am I remembering wrong?

Well, I hope Ashford won't take that long! Though honestly I don't mind waiting six months or more, because I have faith that he'll be amazing and completely worth it.

 

Alice's Collections said that "Ringdoll is quite slow this year". But based on all the dolls they have released recently, it is no wonder, really!

 

I'm waiting for my Qinzhe to arrive as well!! I cannot wait ^^ I ordered along with my friend who ordered a tan Hui! I want a tan doll too now XD

 

The Waitlist isn't listing Shipping times... Anyone know how long it usually takes for shipping from China (Ringdoll)-- to the West Coast of the US???

I paid off my Boyce(fullset, rmg3, tan) in April (ordered in December... it didn't make it to the new Waitlist--but I just added it in) and they only just said he was ready to ship... but I might not be home to get the package, so might have to tell them to wait!!! UGH.

Weird that every time I email Ringdoll I get a reply that they are JUST finishing my doll or JUST going to ship my doll... So I think making email inquiries to Ringdoll seems to help things move along... (or maybe not!)

 

Shipping from China, even EMS, is hit or miss. I got a shipping notice and it took over 10 days to leave China but only 2 days to reach me once in the U.S. I don't know if it was a fluke or it has become the norm because of the pending/threatened trade war with the U.S.

 

Thanks, @SteamWitch . I've had 2 dolls from Ringdoll... the first was many years ago and it took weeks! The second was a few years ago and it was quicker.. but generally not as quick as dolls shipped from Korea (i think because China is much larger and it depends on where Ringdoll is located--as in how far to an international airport...).

I contacted them to say that it probably would be better to wait until November to ship, unless they could guarantee delivery by a certain day...

It took them 5 months to produce the doll... I was hoping it wouldn't bump up against my trip!

I ordered a white skin alice01 september 6th from clover singing. Second payment was made october 2nd and last payment is due before november 5th.
It's been a tough month for me health wise so I'm really looking forward to seeing her. I dunno if i mentioned this but Im putting the head on a loongsoul body .I seriously adore loongsoul bodies xD

I messaged Ringdoll about adding an item to my order for Warlock Apprentice Hui the other day and thought I'd ask about his progress; they responded saying he's moving along well and that they're working on his faceup and few clothing items. Being able to receive a progress update made me really happy and excited for when he finally arrives. ^^

 

I added myself into the Waiting list... I ordered last year, but had a long layaway, then a long wait for production... Now I have to delay ship for a month because I'm not going to be around to pick up a package... But at least I won't have to worry about it.

I ordered a Boyce, tan, RGM3, fullset. It's been a LOOOOOooOOooooong wait!

 

Ugh... That's it! I had to put in an order for Ashford's head...

 

I finalized my order for my S fullset today!!! I’m so happy I could cry. I can’t wait.... to wait lol. I hope it goes smoothly and doesn’t take tooooo long haha

 

I'm currently waiting on Hui, ordered through Dolk. I also just put in an order for the RGM-3 for a PAViLiON.K head I was lucky enough to get my hands on
(and of course some accessories, but they won't ship until the body does like... sometime next year probably O3O)

Ordered an Illya on RGM-3 in NS back in August and we're just over the 2 month line now. Seems I've still got a little while to go yet haha!

@RedRose Ooh, Illya is such a gorgeous sculpt! Yeah, I think we've all got some waiting ahead of us, but I'm sure it'll be worth it.

 

Sorry i forgot to reply! I definitely will! I love loongsoul bodies but not so much their faces so i find them great for hybriding.

Just joining in - I placed an order for a Ringdoll Ashford-EVO (blank doll in NS) yesterday via ACBJD - 3 month layaway
This will be my first Ringdoll and first layaway in a while and I'm very excited for this guy. Would anyone be able to tell me how long the wait has been recently?

Oh my god, Ringdoll has been giving me the runaround with my order to the point I want to canle. I placed my order Sept 12th and then got confirmation 2 weeks later. Then last week they sent me not my expected shipping noticed but ANOTHER confirmation mail but for the wrong doll. I ordered an normal skin type 2 body Ashford EVO but this email said TAN skin Type 1 Ashford EVO. I emailed them back immediately and got a generated reply saying they were away at Ldoll. then this morning I wake up and they have responded saying that they have switched the resin type to normal and to confirm that the body type is right (still says type 1 so i correct that). Where is my doll which should have shipped by now? And why was no doll at all made in that time???

So I went onto their site to double check my order there and somehow on their site all the options for my doll have been changed to type-1 tan skin, which makes no sense at all. I did notice that both of those options are the first selections in their respective drop down lists so I'm wondering if their system glitched and reset the options. But regardless, how come between Sept 12th and now no doll was made?

 

Life got busy and I forgot to say I got my Rinku on the 2nd, he is so wonderful.

@Kurokami So sorry they got your order somehow mixed up hopefully you can get it all straightened out by emails.
As for why nothing was made yet or is shipping, the normal wait from Ringdoll is like 5 or 6 months. You said you only ordered in Sep? So you likely wont get a shipping notice before Jen or Feb.

Really though if you have an issue keep emailing them until it is fixed.
I had them leave items out of my Raven order, and Cherry one of their reps got me what was missing (It took almost a month as resin props)

 

When I originally placed they order they told me 4-6 weeks. So I have no idea what is up. I emailed Cherry and she said that they could change the order to what it is supposed to be, but that it would be a 60-100 day wait. So I guess I'm just here forever lol.

I have Rinku on order too as full set, I’ve recently seen pics of the blank dolls that have already been shipped but have heard from rd that there’s a delay on the material, I’m gathering for the scarf as it was missing at Ldoll pics! I’m so excited though! Which uk dealer did you order yours through? I ordered mine straight from rd

 

@Kurokami I'm really not sure why they told you four to six weeks....Ringdoll has never taken that quick to produce a doll. I feel like four months is short for them, and their wait times have definitely been getting longer these days.

 

Has anyone gotten a white rabbit yet?? I'm still waiting (and since I did a layaway I'll probably be waiting long after everyone who didn't) and I am kind of dying to see pictures of him....

 

I know I've seen at least one somewhere. Maybe on Instagram?

I ordered him through the UK dealer Angelesque so that I don't have to go to the customs office!

 

I'm having some mixed feelings right now. I ordered a limited Charm Doll Jonasson (had to buy the whole skeleton just to get the head) from Alice's collections and I also bought a grown Ringdoll body. We had an arrangement that when Jonasson was completed, AC would send the head to Ringdoll, so they could match the resin color and make a body for the head. Charm Doll took 5 months to make Jonasson and the head has been with Ringdoll for about three months now.

A couple of days ago I asked AC how my order was doing and they asked Ringdoll about it.
They answered.
They can't find the head.


I'm not despairing yet, I'm just gonna give them time to find it. I REALLY hope they do, because Jonasson hasn't been available for purchase since June, the head is absolutely perfect for my character (it took me a year to find a head for him), I've waited for over half a year for the doll and I paid over 400 dollars just for the head (I'm not going to keep the skeleton parts).
So yeah, I just needed to get that out there. Kinda worried, but trying to stay positive.
I just hope they actually have the head and it didn't get lost in the mail three months back. Or maybe they have already sent it back to AC and there was some communication error at Ringdoll's end? I don't know, I'll just have to wait and see.

 

Oh my god, that’s terrible! I hope his head turns up, or AC is able to do something to get a new head for you! Were you in a split for the body or anything?

If the worst happens, I really hope AC will be able to plea Charm Doll to make one more head. Or find me one.
I kinda wish I had asked if someone wanted to split the order with me. I did consider it, but didn't go through with it. At least one person here on DOA clearly bought the same doll just for the skeleton parts because they were selling the head a little while back in the marketplace. I'm going to stalk the marketplace for the head, just in case Ringdoll can't find mine.
(I hope that's what you meant by "in a split for the body", I'm not a native English speaker. ^^ )

Ok I'm kind of shaky right now because Alice's collections sent me an email.
"After so many days of searching, I'm sorry Ring Doll said it's quite possible that the head couldn't be found".
I am baffled. I can't believe they lost a limited head. Almost eight months of waiting, over 400 dollars and a year looking for the perfect sculpt for my character and they lost it.
Wow.
(Actually, we are talking about 1000 dollars here, if you include the Ring Doll body with color matching.)

They are offering me a Ring Doll head as replacement but... it's not the same. I'm going to ask AC now if Charm Doll is willing to make one last Jonasson head. (´＿｀。) If not, I'm worried Jonasson wasn't popular enough for me to find his head on the marketplace again.

 

That...that's awful, @Saapas. I don't even know what to say...I can't imagine what it must be like to be in your position now. That's so irresponsible of them, to lose a whole doll head like that.... I know Ringdoll recently moved offices, so maybe it got lost in the move? Not that it's an excuse. They should take better care of a customer's valued property. I hope that they keep looking for it and it turns up or Charm Doll will be able to make another one for one. I'm so sorry and wishing you best of luck.

 

@bickazer Thank you, I hope AC is able to do something about this. Maybe if they explain the situation to Charm Doll, they'll be willing to make another one. That means more waiting of course, but I would rather wait than miss out on the head. I didn't know Ring Doll moved, but that would explain it.
I was nervous the head might get lost in the mail when I would eventually send it to an artist, but I never thought Ring Doll would be the one to lose it. I won't boycott Ring Doll because of this or anything like that, I like them and their dolls, but I am very disappointed in them right now.
