Ringdoll Waiting Room v9

Oh Yay! I can't wait to see.

 

I ordered a Judge (non fullset, blank doll) a few months back, completed the order in early March and Ringdoll told me 60-90 days for production. I was pretty excited to get him soon, but looking at the waitlist...I guess I'll swallow my enthusiasm for a bit, haha.

 

*Sneaks into waiting room* Ring doll got me twice this month, I at last ordered my long wanted Raven. ( that smirk) and then BOOM they hit me with my love of unique fangs and cat folk. So one paid in full and one layaway. Here Ringdoll just take my wallet. XD

 

I ordered mine on 10/31 but didn't get my confirmation for a few days. My Judge arrived at 85 working days when you take out all of the weekends and holidays that fall within that period of time. Artisticmage ordered the same day and it took a couple more weeks for theirs to arrive. Mysteries still abound.

 

Yay!! More Raven!! Finally! I think like, one other person has one...maybe. Mine doesn't smirk tho, he awkwardly smiles XD
I'd love to know your plans for him! Are you getting a full set Rinku? Can he even be ordered as a basic??

The laziness of layaway got me.

 

My Raven is going to be another of my OCs/PCs from a superhero RPG my gaming group has going. His name is Ichabod "hero" name is Freakshow. He is a smirky, lanky, tall, late teen, I feel the Raven mold is perfect for him. His powers are hard to explain easiest sum up is kind of a reverse Rogue he gifts super powers on touch.

As for my Rinku he is not full set, but I did get his face up. You can order Rinku blank. I passed on outfit to save money, so will have to find make or buy him cat parts later. Cuz I 100% need him to be a catboy as that is what I fell for with him fangy scruffy cat person, yes please.

 

I have just preordered Aooni fullset through Octarine a few days ago ! It will be my first Ringdoll ♥

 

I am hoping that my shipping notice will come soon... If we were to go from my order date, then it would be 60 days, but it took a bit for them to respond since they were on vacation at the time. I have my fingers crossed for next week sometime!!

Not that I'm really prepared.... the head that's supposed to go on the body hasn't gotten a face up yet and I haven't made his wig either...

and I am dying to see that Boyce head I got as an extra.... I found a few owner pics, but I can't wait to see him in person

 

I'm ready for mine, too. I keep counting the days. I think I'm on, like, the 85th business day, lol, and I'm trying to decide if I should email Alice's Collections or not. I hate feeling like a pest, but I'd like to know what they think about estimated finish date. I feel like it's too early to check on my order, but I have the patience of a gnat.

 

Omg I know that feeling all too well lol. At least the staff at Alice's is very nice. I had made an order for some clothing and it had been over a month and still hadn't shipped, so I decided to ask about it. They responded right away and were super nice. So maybe it couldn't hurt to ask?

 

I ?think? My Judge shipped? I just got a random text about a DHL shipment from "SHENZEN YUZUO CULTU" (which matches Ringdoll's "about us" page) arriving Tuesday, but no email or anything else.

Weird, but okay!!

 

That is what I got a DHL notification and "SHENZEN YUZUO CULTU" is Ringdoll. Congratulations!!! Please note that DHL delivers to your local post office but it will be priority/express and should be delivered ASAP when it gets there. I've had mine arrive a day early. (P.S. they left the huge box on my porch and didn't ring the bell , I'm sure it wasn't my regular mailperson.)

 

Oh, weird. Whenever I get a shipment by DHL they always deliver straight to my house. Thanks for the heads up!

 

They used to but they stopped doing in the U.S.for some reason. Or maybe it's just the boonies where I live???

 

It might just be where you're at, or whatever service tier RD uses maybe? I have my packages shipped to the middle of nowhere, and DHL drops off at my house directly, or at least whenever I get DHL packages from Amazon Japan (as of Friday). Like I said though, that may just be the difference in which DHL service is used. I'll report back on Tuesday!

 

DHL does go to homes sometimes, it's based on where you live or something like that. I've also had 3 dolls shipped by DHL the last few years. A person from DHL knocked on my door for the last two of the those, the first was randomly left on the steps. So not sure what their average is for knocking vs dropping off and leaving is.

 

Just to update, I got an email from Ringdoll this morning - Judge shipped, but the event doll (Ming) did not. They said they'll ship that one separately.

Seems like there might be some sort of delay with the event dolls, but they're not holding up orders for them, which is nice!

 

Hmm, I hope the event doll doesn't hold mine up too much. I think since it's through a dealer, it may. I gave in and emailed Alice's. Lol, I never make it from ordering to shipping without asking about my items.

 

Thanks for the info, my order also had the Ming event doll so that might be why the wait is going on a lot longer than expected ^^

 

My order came DHL too... but I'm a little freaked out right now. My roomie was texting me frantically because DHL tried to deliver, and it was left in the apartment office... but I never got a shipping notice, and on their site it still says "in progress." I even looked in my junk mail 'cause I have had a lot of problems with Outlook doing that to me lately.

If it's my stuff, that's AWESOME!! But now I'm panicking that I got someone else's stuff!! Dying to go home from work and find out.

 

@ChronicallySpaced It is probably your stuff. My orders from 3 years ago still says in progress, though I got them. Not getting a shipping notice isn't unusual.

 

Judge is here! Not painted yet, but I got him in his clothes, eyes, and wigs...I love the way Oscardoll eyes manage to catch the light even in narrow eyes!

(Also, apologies for the terrible quality - we're having a pretty severe storm, so it's very dark right now)

 

Oh, boy, I did email Alice's, and it is going to be at least another month for me. They said not only is the event doll holding up orders, but my LRRH isn't finished. It's still in a reasonable time, but I"m so impatient! I was really hoping I'd have her in time for AKon, but I suppose I'll live, lol.

I sent another layaway payment in for my White Rabbit! I'm thinking one more and I'm done. Maybe I'll do it next weekend. Then I won't have it hovering over my head anymore XD

 

I've just had a shipping notice from Angelesque for Lora! She should hopefully arrive tomorrow!

Now I don't want to go to work.... D:!

 

Ugh... no...! I just placed an order for Aooni - been love at first sight, but hoped I could manage not to get him...

Oh, I can't wait! I have Lora but with the other face up, and she is just my favorite. I have been dying to see her other face up, too.

Starting to wonder how to deal with the wait... Never had such a long waiting time on a doll before.

 

I ordered a Rinku! He's on layaway tho, so it'll be some time before he can come home. It has been a few years since I bought a doll. How long does the wait after layaway usually goes? It's my first time ordering A RingDoll.

Woo hoo, I got my shipping notice for my Little Red Riding Hood over the weekend! I can't wait to get my hands on her.

 

Yay! My Little Red Riding Hood arrived. I have no time to enjoy her in the foreseeable future, but hopefully i can get some pictures in the next couple of weeks. Wow, her outfit has so many pieces, and her bust is quite large. I'm used to pretty simple outfits and small busted dolls. This is a fun change, lol. These aren't her full set eyes, because those were huge!

I've ordered Jady the Jiang-shi. Extremely excited, as I have a deep and enduring love for these little zombies/hopping vampires from playing Ragnarok Online as a kid. Jady was too cute to pass up and her face looks so perfect. In honor of RO, I'll probably call her Muni or Muna. XD

 

@bluepita Oh, she's lovely! I was very tempted by her when I was choosing Lora. Can't wait to see more photos!

@ohsi I feel the same, she's so perfect! I'm waiting for my dealer to add her to the website so I can put my order in. There was no way I could resist her.

 

@Scoops Yay! Another Jady fan! I know it'll be months before she arrives, but I'm so excited to see her in person. I wasn't going to order a new bjd until at least next year, but I knew I'd be kicking myself if I didn't go for her now.

It's going. I'm not in a place where I'm impatient for mine. I have too many other dolls to work on! And I only just paid mine off a week ago so my wait is just starting XD

 

Ringdoll is pretty popular in DFW. I think because they visit A-kon, there's a lot of hype right after the convention! I really admire how much they adore their own characters and create bios and post fanart for them on their official site. I didn't think I would give-in, but then Warlock Apprentice Hui was released and I love his modern/trendy style! Now he's on sale so I couldn't pass him up! I just sent in the first payment and I'm planning to pay him off before the end of July. I'm so excited!

**Re: I sent my final payment today (07/08)! It was a quick layaway, but I'm glad I put in the order now while they're having a sale for his fullset and the lucky bag promotion Now I have to figure out where I'll put him when he arrives!

 

Ordered 2 Ringdolls right after the other. Who hasn't finished their layaway for Rinku yet? Bear with me please

 

I'm still in my layaway for my Rinku, hope to pay mine off early next month. Mean while I have the wait for my Raven to slowly drive me mad, so I don't worry about my cat boy.

 

Today I've ordered the Rinku from them, he'll be my first Ringdoll bjd! I'm quite curious to see what their resin quality is like and if he looks like his promo pictures... his teeth are just so cute.
Oh he'll also be my first 70cm doll

 

I have 4 ringdolls and soon to be two more ringdoll hybrids, and I adore their resin. The colours are really even, even tan and my two grey dolls.

 

@Chameleon Ah hopefully my doll will be as gorgeous as your dolls! I ordered him in normal resin color since it looks so nice in the photos.

 

Normal is really nice! My jack is in normal and I really like his colour.

 

I am waiting on four orders from Ringdoll right now. The first was ordered late March and is a RGM-3, the second was ordered late April and is a RT-3 body. the third is for the two guns that come from their Padro doll that I ordered as soon as they were available and the final one is the LAW head that I ordered in May. I also had an order for a fullset outfit and wig made between the bodies and the guns. I got the fullset outfit and wig last month but didn't even get the shipping notification until 2 days after the package arrived. I've been told two separate things about the RGM-3, initially that he would be sent 'in coming days' and then 3 weeks later they doll be he would be 'sent recently'. Obviously this is very vague and I'm not sure why they can't give me a time in weeks, language barrier not withstanding.

Since I ordered the RT-3 body on sale through Alice's Ringdoll couldn't directly give an update so I e-mailed AC last night and they replied immediately promising to look into it. They then e-mailed me this morning saying they had the body in their possession and would ship it in 2 days and give me a tracking number by Friday so I'm very pleased about that, as I wanted that body to arrive before my Universedoll/Venitu hybrid arrived back from the artists so they'd look better when photographed together.

I'm not very impressed with Ringdoll's shipping. I do appreciate that they offered to ship the wig (which was in stock) with the outfit instead of making me wait until me head was ready (which is what I ordered the wig with), but it's a bit bad to not even get the tracking number until well after the package arrived. I also think their flat rate of $35 shipping for any item no matter how small and light is a bit steep, but that might just be me.

 

My Raven came today, items were missing from my order, and the caller/shoulder pads for the set was busted. So emailed Ringdoll and hope to hear back soon.

He hasn't gotten his face up yet, but meet Ichabod AKA Freak Show.

 

Congrats on getting him home, too bad about the broken stuff. He looks like he is going to be fun.

 

Almost all my order was fine just one broke thing and a few missing (Armor and hat)
It's otherwise great the other extras are all 100% fine, the one boxed alone thing is what got hurt.

Now just to finish my catboy layaway and ninja out of here XD

Ringdoll got back to me and is sending me my missing items so yey!

 

I'm waiting for the confirmation of Akaoni! I'm super excited to get her and can't wait. Would be a great Christmas gift if she arrived by then.

 

Hey y'all! I'm participating in my first split and am getting the new alice01 head. I just instantly fell head over heels in love with her and she just so happened to be released less than a month before my birthday! The girl who is getting the body is doing a 2 month layaway while I'm putting my part down in full. I'm so excited! She's going to be the girlfriend of my doll Luna. Im thinking her name will be Harper but im not 100% sure yet lol

I ordered the Alice01 full set a few days ago. I've never had a Ringdoll before, so I'm pretty excited.

 

I’ve been waiting five months exactly for my RGMBody-3. So anxious I’ve never waited this long before and it’s the most expensive body (also the biggest). Hoping he actually arrives this year, I have a floating head who’s been waiting much too long fir a body lol.
