Yes, I listened to my instructive thoughts and purchased a second one lol.
Initially, I wanted to have one wearing the eye patch (the one I have is already a little stained cause of the it, so I was going to have that one keep wearing it) and one displayed without it.
Nonetheless, I recently felt like dressing the new one in modern clothes, I have yet to buy him a new wig though .

 

So after almost a year my decree dog has arrived at bjdivas. In that time I have given his human head away and will be trying my other floating heads with his body. I originally only wanted the robot head anyway so it’s not a surprise things ended up this way, but I’m excited to finally get everything.

 

My Hua Cheng should be shipping to me soon!! Xie Lian won't be so lonely after all this time anymore!

 

I just ordered the MSD Zhao Yun that came out yesterday through Alice's Collections. He is absolutely perfect in every way I couldn't resist buying him. He'll be my second fullset Ringdoll and I'm going to be super excited when he finally gets here; he'll be worth the wait.

 

Well, I've committed and also wait for a fullset Xiahou Dun. I know the wait is long, but it never makes it any easier.

Well I'm back...ordering the RGMBody-2 for my Zhou Yu. I really love the muscular details of his RGMBody-3 but he's so bulky he doesn't fit into any of his clothes. Also I feel a smaller body would do his head some good proportion wise.

 

Yiling Laozu Wei Wuxian arrived this morning, which was a surprise because it estimated wednesday on my notification! Here he is with v1 Wei Ying:

Well never mind. Got a message from Alice's Collection letting me know the body has been discontinued. So looks like my plans are changing for now.

 

Check the Ringdoll website. Most of the bodies are 50 percent off and the number 2 body is available. You'll have to pay shipping but at half price for the body it should be cheaper than Alice.

 

@Dreamweaver56 That's odd that they still have it for sell on their site, yet informed Alice's Collection that it's discontinued. Unfortunately the money is non-refundable so I'm just going to pick a different doll. I think this is the universe's way of telling me it's not meant to be. ^_^;;

 

Alice will be shipping out Dracula 2.0 either today or tomorrow!! So excited! Looks like he might make it before the end of the month

Hello there! I have been waiting for my Pang tong since 14/9/22 through a third-party agent. They told me it still didn't ship yet. It's almost a year so, does it normal for Ringdoll to be this late?

Also u can ask RD about that agent and your order directly.

 

I'm really worried though. I keep asking the agent from June till now, but, I'm not sure I could contact Ringdoll since I didn't order it myself. By the way, could you tell me how much time it normally takes for Ringdoll's order?

 

u can just explain them via who and when u made your order, which complication etc.
Well, my 1st doll was RD Sol 13 years ago and at this time they had some problem with their storage. And even at this time it took 6 months; But as I know they had a fire at storage which damaged a half of customer's orders. It was exception.
But usually its can take 2-7 months, all depends what u order, how difficult is your doll. But I can say about my experience with them. I have only 10 rd dolls + 2 waiting. But I dont remember waiting time in a year with RD. Maybe I just lucky, idk.
Also u can ask on FB same, maybe someone can help you.

I think it depends on my agent. Maybe, I should look for other agent in case I want any bjd form RD again....

 

yw, better check the list of dealers, for to be sure its not some random dude, cos now have a lot ppl who trying to make money on everything. Also a lot of company/dealers proposing a layaways.

 

Who did you purchase him from? It took about a year for me to get Hua Cheng through BJDivas, so it's not that uncommon of a waiting time depending on your dealer.

 

It is a local dealer in my country. I purchased some BJD wigs from them before and it didn't have any problem, so when Pang Tong was released, I fell in love with him immediately and decided to order him from this dealer. I kinda researched how long RD took for shipping, and it happened to be 7 months or more which was acceptable by the way. I'm just....I don't prepare for a year though! Well, thank for your sharing, I will consider a new dealer for my next RD order in the future.

 

It's also good to keep in mind that dealers generally receive orders placed through them later than orders placed with the company directly, so they will always take a little longer, regardless of the manufacturer.

 

For anyone who has ordered directly from Ringdoll, do they normally take two weeks to confirm payment (in my case for a preorder). I placed an order on 7/20 and got a ‘confirmation’ email on 8/6.

Nearing the 180-day mark for my Muscovado. I’m so excited to finally see her. I just hope it doesn’t take too much longer. I can’t remember how long it took for Raven to arrive finally.

 

First time buying a Ringdoll, I always seem to forget the waiting times when I’m lookin for a new doll.
They gave me an estimate of 4-6 months. Looks like I’ll be getting my boy within the same time frame that I become an aunt!

 

My replacement hand for Dracula showed up about a fortnight ago! Thank goodness nothing else was serious damaged because I reported the issue back in July and it took that long for ONE HAND?

I have his military version but when I went to buy his original one at the time it wasn't available and now it's released for a limited time of only 3 sets available! I've never moved so fast to order anything in my life ! So now the wait begins.

What a thrill! I haven't ordered Cheshire because I don't know the budget, but I also fell in love with it when I saw it and I'm planning to start saving to see if in a couple of years I can buy it. I went for the Xie Lian comic version, through layaway with Alice’s. I fell in love with his face and couldnt resist!

 

My Wei Wuxian arrived today. Ordered July 8 2023, arrived January 10 2024. Waiting time exactly 6 months.

 

Next month I will complete the payment plan of Dianxia and placed a preorder through Taobao for the Comic version.
I am sure RD will anounce a new Hua Cheng version soon

 

The doll has made it! Nearly exactly 4 months. I forgot about the uhhhhh…..special thing Ringdoll does with their male dolls lol! 0-0 I’m so happy to finally have him here.

 

I just purchased my first ring doll li bai from Alice’s collections but seeing people say they get shipped faster when bought directly from the company makes me regret not buying directly. Don’t get me wrong I love buying from Alice since they are super nice and reply to emails super quickly but I’m starting to second guess my choices. has anyone bought a ring doll from Alice before? If so how was the experience?

 

Hello. I haven't bought any Ringdolls (although I would love to), but I can tell you about my experience with Alicice's Collections: I ordered a nude doll from Gem of doll at Alice's Collections on November 6, and, on December 2, Alice's Collections notified me that it had it on the way. What I mean is that if less than a month passed between when I placed the order and Alice's Collections shipped it to me, I assume that they are very very fast at picking up orders from the factory and making them available to the buyer. My experience makes me think that as soon as Ringdoll has your doll ready, Alice's Collections will pick it up and send it to you without delay.

 

Any doll is going to get shipped faster when you order directly from the company, since it's coming right from them and not going to an intermediary first. Alice's has always shipped using fast shipping options, and since they're in China too, it shouldn't take too long for your doll to get to them from Ringdoll. Once they have it, they're always quick to send it out, so while I haven't ordered from Ringdoll through them, I'd guess that it should still fall in the 4-6 month window that Ringdoll lists on their website for pre-orders. It shouldn't take months longer if that's your concern, the way it can if you order from a dealer outside China.

I'll also say Alice's has always been super friendly and responsive any time I've contacted them about orders or questions about specific dolls, so if it does get near the end of that 4-6 month estimate from Ringdoll and you haven't heard from them, you can always reach out and ask if they have an updated estimate. Generally I've heard answers back when they've reached out to companies within a day or two, sometimes on the same day even!

 

Paid off my layaway for my Cheshire doll today! Can't wait for him!
