Wait Times Ringdoll wait time

Mar 21, 2022

    1. Hey guys, I’ve heard some nightmare stories about ringdoll taking a long time to make and deliver their dolls. Is this true? Bc I’m a little too impatient to deal with super long waiting times lol.

    2. Took like 3 months for my doll. I ordered directly from Ringdoll.

I had another one that needed a replacement part, and they sent the part within a month.

I have always had a good experience with the company.

    3. Ok so Ringdoll as a company has had a lot of flux on wait times over the years, I own 4 of their grown 68 males, and one on the type-2 or maybe 3 body that is 70. I fully believe Ringdoll is worth the wait in most cases. My longest wait from them has been a touch over a year, and my shortest 6 months. Note I've had both full sets and blank dolls take 6 months so that's not always a big diff for them in time..

They are a good company with wonderfully made dolls. However they tend to have some longer waits, they do a lot of events, and order floods slow them down a lot. They have gotten much better as shipping things out sooner then later. There was a point once when their wait was almost two years. But that was a very long time ago bakc when the company was very small and it almost went under back then. Since then they have been pretty good at getting dolls out in under six months, but once in a while that can go over as so many factors in the making and shipping of dolls these days.

Side note I've had parts from them like heel feet, and outfits alone or props only take a month or two to ship.
They do care, and do reply to emails in my experience, though I've only ordered direct through them a few times, and mostly use dealers.

    4. So far both of my orders have taken a year and a bit. Currently waiting for my yosd Jade and the sword they forgot to send with my Aooni that I paid extra for. Had the dealer ask them to send it to me directly but neither of us have seen it arrive so we're betting they sent it to the dealer and I can only hope it arrives with my Jade.

I love their dolls to bits but I can't say I've been having the best time. Worried something will be missing with my Jade.

    5. I would read Ringdoll waiting room, if I were You.

RD is :barf company with with :barf waiting times.

They had 1year and up wait times starting 2019. It was surreal waiting and seeing them releasing a doll every month.

Good customer service? As long as there is no problem with your order.

It was normal to wait for a year for a blank doll or a blank head, spare parts, or the spare parts they forgot to put in the order. (simple math 6 months for the first order to be made and 10 months more for the parts. In total 16 months).

They also tend to forget about orders.:thumbup

So order at Your own risk. It might go good. Or it might go good to someone else.

Forgot to mention, they do not replace broken items, which broke in transit

    6. I ordered an SD from them last year and he arrived to me after a 5 month wait and everything was perfect. I ordered through a dealer though so I don't know how they are to deal with directly.

It would be definitely worth a look through the waiting room

    7. If you want to know about a companies wait time, check out the waiting room forum found under the community tab (or use the search function for quickness ;)). @TheSecretRoman has helpfully linked Ringdoll's waiting room for you, you'll see there that over the last two years Ringdoll has become very unreliable with wait times all over the place. Currently it seems that RD prioritise new release full sets but for everything else it's complete guessing game on the wait time.
As for the issues with Ringdoll, there is a service review thread here (under 'reference' tab) where buyers have described some of their experiences. :thumbup

    8. You can always contact them via mail and ask if they have the doll you're interested in stock.

    9. It may depend on the doll you're ordering. If the doll is a new one, like the new Lucifer, Decree Dog, or Jia Guo, you can expect the wait time to be at least 120-180 days (this is the time-frame listed on their website). Older dolls may ship sooner if they have them in stock, or have a similar turn around time if the color you want isn't in stock and needs to be made.

Ordering through a dealer instead of direct will also likely increase your waiting time, since it needs to be sent to the dealer first, then sent from them to you.

    10. I must've just got luck with them. I ordered directly from ringdoll and my doll arrived 2-3 weeks later. There was a problem with shipping so that took a few days to figure out.
