Resin Comparison Ringdoll Resin Matches

resin matching is good and all, but I really like the translucent quality of their resin...I hope they don't change it for my coming Pan...I can always blush or glove hands to make them match him...but I love the canadian translucent resin they use...it's so ethereal. *crossing my fingers and emailing them to request old resin* ^_^

Hello, I'm going to get a hybrid of Ringdoll and Angel of dream - norm pink, does anybody know about their matching?)

 

Not sure but Ringdolls do not have pink tones. They are more yellow toned.

 

I contacted them back in December about the rumors of a resin change, and thye said then that the resin is the same, but the colors have been changed- to make them more opaque. I commented back that I loved the old color, and that I was afraid that the sudden color change would affect how I bonded with my doll (because, I was/am freaking out about it- one of the things that I loved most about Ringdoll was the transparency). They commented back not to worry and that they could specially produce my boy in the old resin color, and asked me to confirm that he was a WS, which I responded that I ordered a NS. They then commented back that they could not produce the doll in the old WS any longer, and I once again sent them a message telling them that my doll was NS. I never heard back from them after that, and I'm pretty sure that despite what they told me my boy will be in the new color. Now I'm scared to death that I won't like my boy when he arrives, and will end up selling him off. Pine needs to hurry up and get here so I don't have more time work myself up over it!

 

I lucked out and ordered from Mint On Card...and they said they have a Pan in the translucent resin in stock that they can send me instead of the opaque one Ringdoll sends. XD I'm so so! glad I ordered with a dealer!

 

Somebody can tell me the colors of wich companies can matching with Ringdoll yellow (or white) skin??

It's may be difficult, since Ringdoll use canadian resin.. Maybe you can try with HZdoll?

My Migidoll Jina (Type A/Leeke match 2008) is on a Ring-teen body (NS 2011). The head is a tiny bit pinker, but I also think it might have yellowed since it's much pinker inside.

 

Does anyone know if Ringdoll's new NS is be a good match for Volks pureskin??

I'm looking for a contender body for an SD17 Williams head and RD's new 70cm bodies are to die for.

 

Andariel if I ever manage to get my new boy in I will be happy to compare the new resin to the Volks boy that I have, though I suspect my Volks is slightly yellowed...
Personally, I would recommend to you that you try and find a Grown body second hand, or wait a bit to see whats playing out- Ringdoll seems to have had several communication lapses with customers lately, and the wait time is moving from slow/average to slow. Ringdoll says that they recently moved factories and also had an accident of some kind at the factory, I don't know what all is going on, but they have admitted that things are not running optimally. Not trying to scare you off, or say bad things about Ringdoll, I just wanted to say hey, watch out, you may not get your doll right away... Personally I'm dismayed that all this is happening... the only good thing is that I choose a long layaway with MOC, and now I can kick back and make leisurely payments while this happens- its the only thing keeping me from freaking out. I just pray I like the new color...

 

I've seen in another forum a Yeoh Ho head on a ringdoll teenager body, and it matches ! =)


I'd like to know now, if it fits with the new ringdoll body (very muscular but 72,5cm) ?

It really depends on skin tones. I know the skin tone I have on my Ringdoll has been discontinued.

Does anyone if Dream of Doll NS could match with Ringdoll NS? My DOD head is a bitter yellowish, is date to 2010.

 

The Ringdoll normal skin is not a good match with Luts normal. Well, at least their old normal resin color. It's much more yellow that the pinker Luts skin tone. Their resin has recently changed though, so their new resin might match Luts better.

 

I'm currently trying to find a good body for my Soom IO head, I'm hoping to use the ringdoll 72.5cm body for this. So how well does the soom resin match with the new ringdoll resin? Specifically pink ns or yellow ns or pure ns? In the new resin that is; it's pretty darn hard to work out which resin is which...
Does anyone have any advice relating to this match?

 

I've found out that IOS WS is an absolutely amazing match for Ringdoll WS! I will have to coat the whole body with MSC so it will be matt enough to match the head (only did so with the hands so far) but the colour is almost exactly the same. It's said that IOS WS also has the same coloured resin as Volks, Luts White Skin (though not Real Skin White) and Spirit Doll. Don't have the direct comparsion here, though.

I really would love to see resin comparisons of rd white and normal with luts ones in person i want to order a head which is made to match luts resin colors.... but I sooo want the ring-grown body!!!

And one other thing, people stop scaring other people xD ...rd did have their problems with production because of some unhappy events, but they are already back on the track, so to speak, they fulfilled all the late orders, and are pretty quick on the new ones (1-2 months as usual).

 

I have a question! RingDoll white skin does it match the Dollzone white skin?? also . . .that first question is redundant if they can't fit each other xD does anyone know if the Dollzone head fits on the ringdoll body????

Ringdoll yellow resin is a much pinker and not quite as pale. DF-A resin also doesn't have the nice translucent quality of Ringdoll resin. I'm doing the comparison with a DF-A practice head, if that makes a difference.

 

is anyone in a position to compare ringdoll resin with Loongsoul ny?

 

I have a translucent resin ringdoll Pan and some normal yellow loongsoul jointed hands. will that work?

I wounder if Ringdolls normal skin matches with Iplehouse normal skin?
I saw that this question has been asked befor in this thread, but I did'nt find any answer. If some one knows, please help!

 

I own a Ringdoll grown body (2012) and is using my 2011 IoS mezz head new NS.
The skin color match is good, but not perfect.

To me, it doesn't bother soo much, because the difference doesn't stand out that much. and a very little blush on the head will make it perfect

I'll try to take a decent picture when I got the time.

 

I was wondering if Ringdoll's pure normal skin matches with Dollfamily-H's P-normal or Y-normal? I'm thinking of purchasing a Sol head, but I don't know if it would fit on a DF 70 cm body.

 

Seeing as this is just a short event I'm hoping for a quick answer.

hello! i will be buying a ringdoll and luts head, both normal skin color but the bodies are kinda pricey~

what companies match with luts? senior delf.
what companies match with ring doll? 70cm.

 

I don't know of any matches, but I have a Ringdoll Sol and his head seems to be quite a bit smaller than even my 60cm dolls, so keep in mind about the proportion of the Ringdoll 70cm head to other bodies.

 

yah i have a ringdoll lily, and she is much smaller then most msd's i see. maybe it's a company thing.

 

Luts SDF heads are good with InfinitiDoll bodies, but they are more expensive than Luts ones... nicer though.
Ringdoll heads, like mentioned here, are small, but they have fairly thick necks if you are talking about boys. They are still a little larger than Dollshe heads, but on that range, Iplehouse, Soudoll, Dollshe, all small head dolls. Now, resin match will be complicated. Ringdoll resin seems quite unique. I have Luts, Supia, Soudoll, Dollzone, Iplehouse, Dollshe, InfinitiDoll, Soom and the resin matches none of these.

 

Can anyone tell me if the newer Ringdoll resins are a match, even a close one that can be blushed, to Luts/Fairyland? I have a 2007 Nanuri from Luts in NS, but I really want to get him the more masculine Ringdoll body. Thanks!

I got my RingDoll Vincent a few weeks back and I'm not 100% happy with his head and want to get him a new one. Can anyone give me a resin comparison of RingDoll white skin to ANY other companies? I'm trying to find one that is close. I got a DollLeaves head but it is WAY whiter than him -- I don't think there is enough body blushing out there to make it match, LOL!

I have found that Ringdoll pure normal is a pretty good match with Rickydoll normal. Here is a Rickydoll Helios head on a Ringdoll grown body. The size is good too
