She looks great! And wow I've never seen a default faceup like that before.

 

does anyone know what size eyes ringdoll Pan takes? I looked all over their website and I see nothing for eyesizes o.o
It appears to be 16mm ~18mm...but it's sooo hard to tell.

Well, MoC had me cancel my pre-order, but I ordered the NS En they had in-stock... I asked for pictures and they sent some, and the ns is still pretty pale, and I decided that it was pretty close, and I'd certainly rather have the ns than none at all if the worst happened... So he's on layaway now, yay! I plan to pay it off next month.

 

I have some pictures on NS ringdoll vith the other resin collour if that help?

Hello all, I have a question will the Ringdoll clothes fit Dollzone MSDs? I have yet to see any size chart or any post stating if they do or not. Thanks. ^^

 

In my limited experience.... yes and no.

It depends on the outfit. I think ringkids are a lot skinnier than Dollzone minis, but in some clothes, they can still manage to fake it. I bought an outfit for my Rebecca, and she fit okay. However, when I bought a Dollzone outfit for my Kyo, it was too big!

Ugh....nevermind! You wanted to know about the other way around....Well, I don't think so. As I said, Ringkids are pretty skinny.

 

Ringdoll is about 1 cm smaller round-about, have smaller breasts and narrow waist, so i think tight clothes will not fit. However, all that is stretch can work well.Litle bit baggy clothes can also work well

I forgot to post, but early last month Yanagi arrived (RD En) from MoC. I couldn't be happier. His skin color is perfect!

Strange, I'm not sure either. I can see it, and I haven't relocated or deleted the image or anything.

It's here in his box opening thread, and others were able to see it there... Perhaps that will help?

I host my images on livejournal, and sometimes it's slow to load though.

so far I haven't had shoes that perfectly fit the feet of my dolls D= it's so sad that every pair of shoes I bought make them look like they have clown feet D=

 

Here are a few pictures of Yuki in my garden of doom it is amazing how she was able to see the beauty of overgrown grass, scary brambles and weed heaven.

I took my Female Dylan out recently to take some pictures and changed her usual wig and eyes... she looks so much girlier now! Amazing!


DajmDumle~ I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that saw that he had potential as a girl I had the same thing happen with my faceup when I ordered mine.. and I wiped it immediately. You think it looked bad on NS, just think how red it was on my WS girl >.< I think I might have pictures of it somewhere...

Yanagi's wig should be coming in soon- I don't know if it's in the box that arrived with the GO leader or if it's in the one that's coming later... But I'll post pics when he has it. I've been changing his outfit, too.

I'm hoping to get a Kid Kyo soon (paying him off) but may need to replace a hand/arm. How well do the mechanical arms that are out there fit? Is there any other company which may fit? And does anyone have any tips about this sort of thing? lol.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know the resin match to Fairyland's white-skin resin?

I can't help you with comparing WS's, because although I do have new and old Ringdoll WS, I only have old Fairyland WS to compare to...just an old yellowed Shiwoo head from 2008. I doubt that would help much. ^^;

Does anyone have eye-size comparison for the Ringdoll Dylan? I have no idea what size eyes he takes nor if Ringdoll will be shipping his head with any at all! Didn't even think about it until now!

I forgot to post it, but I did get my Dylan head in! I'm in the process of doing a faceup and there's a meet this weekend so I should hopefully have him/her done by Saturday? He/She's about halfway done right now but I still have maybe a couple hours of work left. It's started raining though.

I still need to order his/her eyes. I keep procrastinating on doing it but the eyes that I'd really like to get I'm not sure how they'd look in a doll so I'm waiting until the company takes some more photos. In any case, I drilled out his eye sockets a little more so that I could fit some 14mm eyes in temporarily.

TL;DR I got my head and I'll put pictures up soon!


Also I keep using he/she because I'm not sure what gender or lack thereof I want him/her to be yet.


edit: I went ahead and purchased a different set of eyes (just some nice glass ones to hold me over until I see if I like these other ones) and hopefully they'll be here in a couple weeks!)

 

I got a second hand Kyo, which came today (and is also called Kyoya xD and i also have a Dolls Leaves M, yay for Kid Kyos and Ms!) I would put up a picture but he wants eyes and hair before I take more pictures, lol.

Was going to get 14 MM eyes, but see now I might need 12, or maybe even 10mm eyes. And also a smaller fitting wig maybe..unless I can get ahold of the Ringdoll wig.

My twins Kyoya (boy) and Shoko (girl). But all my friends say, that they have change their heads each other) But my Kyoya is very soft and kind boy, and Shoko has very severe and strict character. So I think I'm right)

 

Does anyone know what a good resin match for hands is in regard to other companies?

 

For what skintone? And in the old or new resin?

 

ofcourse, forgot about that, normal skin, I think it's the new resin, not sure..

 

The new resin is urethane, and completely 'solid' appearing. The old resin is semi-translucent environmental resin. If you hold thin parts, especially hands, up to the light, the old resin will appear to glow a little. It lets some light through, where the new resin doesn't.

Yanagi is old resin, and I have replacement hands from two companies I tried to match to him, though I haven't gotten around to comparing them with him yet and matching the tone. If you're looking at the old resin I can see if I can get a comparison shot up in the next week or so (ill and very busy) but I can't help with RD's new resin.

 

I comparised old and new resin with different company... They have no 100% coincidence, it's a pity!

Hey everyone!

I got my Ringdoll Dylan about a month ago but I've been very very busy! Here is a photo and I apologize for the half-done faceup and bad lighting. I left for London after starting this and when I returned the weather was horrible. In any case, the eyes I ordered came in so at least they have the right size in now! Also, wig is just temporary so you can see their cute little profile! Love that nose!

innelda_Isher - Thanks! I haven't decided on a gender... and I might not actually! They might just end up being sort of agendered or neutrois! The original inspiration for the doll was a character who was very gender ambiguous anyway.
