66cm+ Dolls Ringdoll Lan Wangji V2.0 opening

Introduction
Hi all! Here is the box opening of Ringdoll Lan Wangji V2.0. I'm a huge fan of the books, comic, anime and live action, and having cosplayed Wei Wuxian i feel such a strong connection the series. I could not leave Wei Wuxian to be by himself in my glass cabinet and now his lovely husband has joined him.

Since the body and hands are the same, I haven't really taken a lot of pictures of Lan Wangji's body. So please view the Wei Wuxian pictures if interested in those... here:

I ordered directly from Ringdoll. Their English customer service is great and responsive. I got Fedex shipping, and he arrived within a week after I got the tracking number. Waiting time was about 6 months after ordering (ordered November, arrived May). This is not abnormal for Ball Jointed Dolls, because that's how it works. They're always MTO, and pre-ordered.

It is picture heavy, so under spoilers.

BOX
First is box.

It arrives in an outer box with the Ringdoll logo on it. The inner box fits in it exactly. I liked how it was blue. Somehow I did not expect that. It had a nice and detailed print. The Box didn't come completely unscathed, but it was good enough.

Box opening:

Upon opening the box you see a Ringdoll sheet that covers the contents. The cutout man was hilarious to me. It is part of the packaging material.

 

Bonuses:

The bonuses include a printed fan on two sides. Different pictures. So pretty and it will be useful in summer. It also included Lan Wangji promo post cards, some Ringdoll character stickers, and the plastic card that I have half hidden: the Certificate of Authenticity.

Instruction booklet:

The instruction booklet does not come with any of their regular dolls, but yes for this one! There is a photo explanation of how to wear all items. In what order. How to place eyes and wig so it is really useful.

Doll stand:

This doll stand is huge and sturdy. You have to screw it onto the foot. The saddle is shaped like the body bottom, so they can stand securely. Because these dolls are extremely heavy and huge, it is recommended not to let them stand on their own. I do it for photos unless they can sit or lean. My dolls always sit in their cabinet.


Extra hands:

There is a sword holding hand. And two jointed hands in a can. I just... put them on. XD I forgot to take pics. So please look at the hands in the Wei Wuxian post.

 

Small items:

The small items are in a purple bag. There are back up lashes, eyes, eye putty, wig putty, a comb, and velcro for the wig. I never use the velcro on my dolls. But everything else is useful.

Bichen:

Bichen is beautiful. There were some scratches on the sword but generally it is very detailed and well made. There is a small closing to attach it to his outfit.

 

Body and head:

His body is packed with a decency sticker. It is the RGM05 body, which is the same as Wei Wuxian, so please see the Wei Wuxian post for more detailed pictures. I was sad they didn't put Wei Wuxian on a smaller body, but I'll just live with it like this. His head is gorgeous, perfect face up, and his eyes put in are really nice. I think he has smaller eyes than Wei Wuxian.

Clothes:

The clothes are packed together in a big bag. Small things in a small one within it. This is basically how he is dressed. The clothing is of great quality and fits perfectly. It fits better than Wei Wuxian in my opinion. Last I put his head back on.

 

Wig:

The wig is a lace front wig. You have to cut the lace yourself. I might still cut it smaller. And the wig is the only thing I'm so extremely disappointed by. I can see the cap underneath, and the knot is really uneven. I tried to reposition so it looks more in the middle. But Lan Wangji needs perfect hair, so it's a little sad that the wig isn't exactly that. However nice enough, with some repositioning it was better.

In conclusion:
Lan Wangji was long awaited and mostly didn't disappoint. His face is gorgeous, very well done. It really fits him. His eyes are beautiful too, and his body is good and strong. He had wiring so it will help with posing. I absolutely love his clothes. It is so detailed, has embroidery, and it's actually even better than Wei Wuxian. Bichen is a work of art. His wig is skewed, the only disappointment. All in all, I'm very happy, Wei Wuxian is very happy to be united with his handsome husband.
