He's so gorgeous!! I really like their recent doll Envy too... I'm so weak to all these pretty boys coming out

 

Holy cow! Is he available to play the Joker in future Batman movies? I feel like he'd do a terrific job.

 

I have to admit, I'm thrilled with the new limited edition 'Aries - Cheng Huang' doll.
The whole look is really beautiful.
But I don't quite understand the sense of the '7 hand types' that can be ordered separately.

I am definitely ordering those extra hands. Mostly to give all my Ringdolls more variety.

 

Maybe I did not express myself correctly.
Sure, I know what to do with the 'Extra Part Hands'.
But I'm a bit surprised that Ring Doll is doing this release together with the new Limited Edition doll.

 

Right? Why can't they always be made to order?

I have a little question.
Actually, I'm looking for any jointed hands for a RGMbody-3 (in normal skin).
I did my research on my own before hand, but I have a lot of troubles to find ones with a good resin match and that can fit on this body. (That's my first BJD and my knowledge as a newbie is certainly too poor to answer my question by myself.)
Does anybody have any ideas and jointed hands to recommend?

Hello sorry if I’m asking it again but do heads with a 10.5cm neck circumference work with the RGMbody-3 confused with the neck size of the body having a wider and shorter part. Any clarification would be helpful.

 

Ok so: I saw the pictures on instagram for RingDoll's new Xun Yu fullset?? And honestly I am in LOVE with that outfit of his!!

Ahhh this makes me want my Bai Zhi even more

 

Yes, Xun Yu is sooo pretty and the outfit looks beautiful. I kinda of want to order him but I don't know if I can seeing as how I only recently started a layaway for Zhou Yu military version (who I also ordered mainly because AMAZING OUTFIT)

Argh! Ringdoll needs to make more of their outfits available separately; I can't keep ordering guys just for their pretty clothes!

 

If the fullset of Xun Yu is on a RGMbody-4, I'll definitely buy him ... Even if I haven't received Zhou Yu (which was my first BJD ever) yet. New in the hobby and already want to buy too many dolls.

 

Ughh I feel this on a spiritual level. I'm fairly new too and I've fallen in love with wayyy too many pretty resin people

 

Hey guys
I have a question: I have a Ringdoll Pingjing Xiao head in normal skin and would like to get him a (cheaper) body. He's originally a 68-70 cm boy but I'd prefer one around 65 cm for him. Do you have any recommendations? The skin match doesn't have to be 100% but of course the closer it is the better, same with the body proportions. Thanks in advance!

 

I ordered the Ringdoll Oni mask on January 23 and it arrived today! The mask is fabulous! I thought that was super quick for shipping.

 

I haven't got any answers at my question at this time so I allow myself to re put it down now.
if anyone has a recommendation for me I'm all ears!

 

@Oshina They aren't the greatest, but Resinsoul might work. My K has a pair while I search for some that are better, because they were cheap and in stock. The NS is very pale and only a hair pinker than he is - and he's several years old at this point - so they aren't a terrible match. I don't know if they fit, I haven't tried them on a RD body (my K is on Dollmore), but I can try them later.

Me too I want him only for the Clothe and the wig... well I got Bai Zhi mostly for the Wig..but that wig is truly amazing lol !

I made my first order today with Ringdoll and I ordered the RGM14 head in NS. Will get the body later from them, but I am excited. Have not had a Ringdoll SD size in my collection for a while now.

Does anyone have ideas on what I could do with my RGMBody-3 body? He’s been headless for a long time and I don’t want him just sitting in his box anymore. I find really have many sizable display areas on my current apartment and he’s the biggest doll I have.

 

Eventually. But I’ve been thinking of things I can do with him as is in the meantime.

 

can anyone compare wheat skin and normal skin for me?

i saw some clip that compared these two skin and i think in that clip wheat skin is a little lighter than normal skin

 

I love the horns and his expression, did you make the horns? I’m waiting for my first RingDoll rgm4 body and head since June 2020 and would like to start getting accessories and clothes for him but not doing very well finding high quality clothes that look handmade and most of the clothes makers I like are no commissions or booked until 2022!

No, they're actually Iplehouse horns! I snagged them off the marketplace here. I desperately need to do an overhaul of my doll wardrobe. There's a few that have been borrowing clothes that don't belong to them, and quite a bit that no one seems to use.

 

Well I am not sure where to get really realistic clothes for my guy when a d if he ever gets here as all of the makers I like are either not doing commissions anymore or have closed commissions

Thank you they do have nice basic stuff but I guess I’m looking for fantasy designs kinda dark elven and vampire inspired but not old depictions of those clothes. No ruffles or crosses or red and black capes but a more modern take on dark elven vampire.

Does anyone have the measurements for the RGM 29 head? I know the wig size is 8-9 but I haven’t received my doll or head yet! Even though they were ordered last June 2020!!! And I want to get custom wig made and the artist is asking for head circumference. If anyone has this readily available I am most grateful.

Hi guys! I'm thinking of ordering a Ringdoll Dracula before they discontinue him. Do any Europeans know if they mark down on customs/mark stuff as gifts if you buy directly from them? If so, does it need to be requested, or do they do it automatically?

 

I believe if you ask they will do. Dolk did it automatically for me ($100 marked), maybe Ringdoll will do the same thing.

 

The teeth look good.

 

Are you going to add teeth as tiny chips of white something or other, or actually get a teensy brush or hair of something in there?
I've only painted teeth in an unpainted mouth, starting with the tongue or back of mouth, teeth, then lips. not my best work.

 

I have 3 dolls with removable teeth. Makes painting so easy! especially the vampire who has quite a smile.

 

Question! I have both RTbody-3 (teen body/64cm) and RGMbody-4 (smaller grown body/68cm) bodies all in normal skin.
Are there any adjustable/jointed hands that would be a good fit for either of the bodies? I would love to get a pair of adjustable hands for all of my dolls

 

For some reason I already thought Odom had teeth. I must be mistaking him for a different sculpt. Or perhaps my imagination has run a little too wild.

 

Aha! I was thinking of the Red King! Thanks for clearing that up. Don't ask me how I managed to get those two confused.

 

So...did anyone notice that nearly all the heads on Ringdoll are gone now. Not just the ones they said they were discontinuing? Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place...but there isn't much left.

I myself ordered a white skin Dracula and Carmilla head before the deadline. @Ruinscathedral I hope you snatched one!

 

A friend of mine said they would order me a Padro head as a joint birthday/Xmas gift a few months before the discontinuation was announced. So I wasn't too worried about it at the time, but now I'm a little paranoid. But I'm also worried that asking said friend might come off as rude given that it's a gift.

 

I just sent a message for a update on the head I ordered in March from them. Hope they let me know when I will get it as I really need that head for a character I have.
