Not exactly the advice you’re looking for but even if the two faces are done by the same artist doesn’t mean that they’ll “match”. Using myself as an example: I’m sculpting couple heads and I think their styles are different and don’t really match each other. But I am just an amateur and not super experienced to have a consistent style. Sorry if I couldn’t help you with anything

So after many months of waiting.... I got the purple sandalwood fan finally ... and its human scale and not doll scale XD
I should have known something that intricate and detailed wouldnt be in that size

Thought I would put a heads up in case anyone wanted to get one for their dolls

I think Ive annoyed the Ringdoll team every 6 months I email them if there was going to be the Vampire Hunter D release or teaser anytime soon. Since that teaser they posted ages ago, I cant get him off my mind lol

@GreenTeaSlug - Huh, I don't even remember seeing that fan being advertised. It's very beautiful, though I do feel they should have at least mentioned the measurements.
Hehehe, thanks! Orphicus s my archdemon of chaos, and the poor guy is a little bit on the mad side. He's mostly harmless? He's extremely shy and scared of new people because he's blind and thinks people are there to hurt him (like another one of my characters, Dr Kalbsfleisch). I mean...he's an extremely powerful demon, but he doesn't remember who or what he is, let alone how to use magic anymore.

@SteamWitch - Aww, I'm glad you like him! His smile is infectious, and I can't help but feel happy looking at him.

re: hurricanes. the question nowadays is which hurricane? I've lost track, and most of them have swirled on by me causing messy weather, or stopped for a brief visit before gathering steam to harass someone else even worse.

a lot of my doills are packed up and taking shelter in my second bathroom. it's a walk-in closet for a few months. just enough room for me if we have a tornado.

Feardorcha is not in the bathroom/closet.

Guys, I got some really bad news from BJDivas. The mold for Hui is no longer in service. I just found out. They just found out. I think this explains why the doll mysteriously disappeared from the Website in February. Ringdoll doesn't know if they are going to do a re-release with a new mold or fix the mold. I ordered him in January. They are asking if I want a refund or not. I'm heartbroken here.

 

@FuyumiAya Oh nooooooooo! I'm so sorry!!! And you've been waiting all this time too!

 

It is pretty sad. I've been offered a refund, but I'm not sure if I'd get a refund or just have the cost transferred over to another doll. I'm lucky enough that someone sold me a head on the MP, though. So all he really needs is a body. I just wanted three heads, because I am greedy.

 

@FuyumiAya whew at least you had another option! That's a relief! Now I'm terrified because I've noticed K has vanished in a similar way and I've been waiting 7 months for him...

 

Oh no, all these vanishing sculpts! Maybe it's a good idea to contact RingDoll directly?

 

K's head sculpt (RGM29) is still on the Ringdoll site for order by itself it looks like, so that is probably a good sign?

You're quite welcome. I had a little internal panic, myself because I have been wanting to get a K head for a while but I keep buying other dolls and props instead. . I would hate to miss the opportunity entirely.

I'm going to look up what I ordered - lots of extras from the initial offering last year. Almost forgotten what he looks like.

I couldn’t help myself, I had to purchase the adoption fee for one of the 15 in-stock Armand fullsets. He’s so many of my favorite characters in one and embodies so much about what I love about Ringdoll. Did I mention how beautiful he is?
I hope he looks as amazing as the sample!

My first ringdoll boy Isak just got in.

He's in wheat skin, I really love his face and his uniform. His right knee gives me grief though. It locks in its bent position and is a right bitch to straighten again.

 

He showed up, and he’s amazing. I’ll post a box opening soon.

He has the RGM body 3.

 

Armand is on that body as well, it’s definitely one of my favorite grown bodies out there.

 

Finally. . most of a year later. . I am moving along with my potassium plans. I managed to snag a new but second hand K head. . . so now I just have to secure a body and then we can assemble the handsomest pointiest nosed scientist ever.

 

Hello can I ask since I’m planning to get an RGMbody-03 can somebody tell me if the poseability is good and is it ok to use 10.5cm neck circumference head with the body.

 

Aaand body is sorted. I'm gonna suffer the long wait and ordered one through BJDivas. . though it apparently is less expensive due to sales to get a full doll. . . so I got a full K lol. . which MEANS I can take a page out of @VampireAngel13 's book and mod one of them to closed eyes. He will also have the robot arm I've been hanging onto for 1800 years (Okay a year).

aw look....he's in my office. I haven't seen my office since March. I had a nightmare that it was covered in spiders. I miss going to work every day (I also love working from home. This is the most confusing year.)

I . . . don't miss going to work, myself. . mostly because I work retail so I have no time to miss it T__T. I REALLY wish I had the option of working from home, especially since I live with my parents who are older. But, at least I have work. . . which means doll money. But ugh.

@The Yellow Sign I think the RGM03 body poses very well. I've mentioned this either in this thread a million years ago, or some other thread but I've gotten mine to crouch unaided, while holding his arms up. And it wasn't hard, he just did it!
Finding clothes is a pain, but it's a great body.
What head were you planning on using? I don't pay attention to neck measurements XD probably something I should do.

 

I was planning to get one for my IOS Tauros head which works around 10-10.5cm neck sized bodies based on company reference and was looking into the Rgm-03 body since it looked like the physique I was looking for the character.

 

Is Tauros a 70cm head? I have jaguar....I might be able to wrangle him onto my RGM03 to see if he'll fit (warning - my jag is in various stages of being very modded so he doesn't look...right.)

ha ha same!! I don't need the smaller size (Unless Ringdoll does it and releases a K. I will be on that so fast), but I have so many of both...and I want at least two more Granado heads. So it hasn't ended yet...

As far as I know yes since most of the suggested bodies by other people and owner photos are on the 70cm scale. And please do post photos if you can it would be a huge help for me to decide and really appreciated in advance. But just a question is the jaguar head in the 10-10.5 neck size?

 

My Raguel is so modded I've forgotten what they're supposed to look like lol.
Nair is oldie I think. I'm pretty sure he was long discontinued when I got him...I'm pretty sure he also goes by another name? But I don't know which.

I don't know what his neck size is, that's why I asked if Taurus was meant to go on the 70cm body. I'll see if I can't get a pic tonight!

Sorry for the late reply just checked on IOS’s website and yeah the Tauros head is for 70cm bodies.

lol. I know it's gonna be 5-ever, but I can't wait till my K is finally a thing. The second hand extra head I got is in the mail quarantine in my closet right now, but the rest of him is likely to be a good long while. I got the RGM3 body for him, sooo he should look just as handsome without a shirt as your Ambrose. I did actually consider getting that one, but thought I ought to let someone who wanted him for the gorgeous full set and Dracula head get him (I would have wanted him for his body).
