I made a photo reference for Ringdoll Grown and Teen bodies and heads. Since the Grown 4 body is smaller it seems like the Teen heads would fit. I put my Pan and Diyue on the Grown 3 body and it is a bit awkward, Still seems like the 4 body might work but I don't have one.

Hi everyone, sorry I have been MIA. I want to get Oscar a BF so he can comfort him. I just don't know who to get. I know I want him to be a Ringdoll but can't make up my mind between Diyue, SenKai or Raven. Diyue is a cutie boy next door. SenKai well he is just crazy handsome. Raven has smug B Face that makes me thing he likes Oscar crying. What do you guys think, who would fit better with Oscar?

 

I haven't had a chance to take many pics and the camera on my phone doesn't focus half the time, but I managed to get this shot of my Caitlin, a Ringdoll Spencer and my achieved grail. I know it's not much, but I think she's really cute.

tbh, lol, I think that Raven would be the best match for poor Oscar, for just the reason you mentioned. He'd be hell on anyone that tried to get between the two of them, because he loves Oscar and the way he cries. Story developing in my warped brain.

Oh I always loved Spencer!! That was one of those heads I wanted to get when they were discontinued but I never managed to scrape up the cash. She looks great!

I have a Julia head scheduled to arrive today. I'm excited for her so I hope she really does get delivered. She was kind of an impulse buy, but not really.

Maybe I'll actually take a photo of this one since I never seem to do that with my other three teen heads D:

I don't think I mentioned that I love Caitlin's sweater so much! It was commissioned from someone in my local doll group, I know her username here and I think she does have a shop here, but to be honest I don't know if we're supposed to advertise our friends in discussion threads. ^^;

I was having a tough night a week or so ago, and I took Caitlin out and held her to feel better. It's awesome how comforting 1/3 scale dolls are. I only have space for the one, but Caitlin is so amazing and I am so happy to have her.

Anyway, I need to get her more clothes. Does anyone know of any shops online that have a good selection of items that fit Ringdoll Teens? I've noticed they're kind of a weird in-between size and I haven't wanted to order clothes that she might not actually be able to wear. From what I remember of the measurements (I have to check again tbh) I think she's slightly bigger than SD13 dolls in some ways, so no luck with that standard size. I just need to find something that fits! Or I guess I could commission lots of things for her, but I'm not always good at giving accurate measurements since I'm not sure how to take them properly. (for those who don't know, she's on the older teen boy body, so I don't think clothes aimed at female bodies would fit, though I'm looking into those too)

I suppose the other option is to make stuff myself, and I do want to learn! I just haven't had the time to make anything, and I don't want to go buy good fabric when I don't know how to use it yet and haven't had a chance to practice on stuff I have on hand (like okd sheets) first...

 

I thought I'd stop by and post a pic of my Crystal. He's been one of my absolute favorite sculpt for years, so when I found him second hand (I'm his 4th and hopefully final owner) I couldn't pass him up.

His name us Ashley and he's a witch. He doesn't have a permanent wig or outfit yet, but I'm so happy with him.

Thank you. It makes me feel so good when people compliment my faceups since I'm still learning how to do them. Ashley doesn't do any specific type of magic. If he finds a spell or potion that he finds interesting, he'll give it a try. He only has about a 25% success rate, though.

His necklace is actually just an old silver bracelet that I had sitting around the house with a cheap pre-wrapped bead from Michael's put on it. Super simple to put together, but it works.

 

Question for anyone with the new\current teen boy body....how do you like it? Does it pose nice? Does anyone happen to have a Dollmore Adam head on hand they could try on one??

Hello Ringdoll Teen people, I'm seriously considering getting the RTbody-3 for a hybrid I'm planning and I was just wondering, to anyone who has experience with that body, how is the posing? It looks really nice in the promo pics and the body has almost the perfect look I want for this guy, but I'm just wondering exactly how well can he slouch with only two torso joints? I'm used to two part torso's but this guy I'm reshelling slouches and sulks a lot so I wanted to know just how well he can do that and how well he can actually pose in that whole 'knees drawn up towards chest and arms curled around them' sort of pose.

Anyone have any info on those poses and how the body holds other poses? I've been looking for images and reading through things here and stuff, but any new info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

(I only have experience with Ringdoll bigger bodies, which are beautiful and fun to pose, but too big for this guy so next best thing in both looks and possibly posing ability is the teen body so here I am.)

It is very rare that companies release fullsets I actually want all of! But I'm totally getting the White Rabbit. I was hoping he'd be Teen sized and he is! Since I have split up all my other RD dolls, he'll be my first full Ringdoll.

I don't even care what the head looks like XD if I'm not crazy about it I already plan to get Aooni's head and switch....

 

Eeek! I want that outfit, since Alice 99's outfit is available separately I'm hoping White Rabbit's outfit will be also.

 

The outfit is great. I'm so excited since I'll actually be able to use it. I do kind of wish the mask was white....but if I really want white I can paint it later on down the road. Or maybe it's white under the silver....who knows. I am ready to see his face though. And looking at the prices of other LE's, I am also ready for layaway. lol

I've never done a layaway with RD, I have no idea how it works....

 

He looks fantastic! I can't wait to see his face. I've really like their Teen releases lately. It's getting more and more tempting to buy a guy. I only have one male doll, lol. It's the land of women over here.

 

The White Rabbit was released today! Looks like he's a time limited doll. There's two types of fullsets you can get, one includes the accessories and one doesn't. His outfit and accessories can't be purchased separately, the only exception being the golden mask that's a gift with the bigger fullset purchase until the end of May.

I'm bummed that I can't afford him or his fullset because he is limited time, even with a closing date of June 30. I hopefully will be able to see him at Doll AKon.

Well I am super excited. My birthday is next week (I can't believe it's almost here DX ) so the White Rabbit will my present to myself. First Ringdoll Tan. First fullset I intend to actually use as a Fullset. First Ringdoll Teen. All sorts of firsts. I couldn't have asked for a better head sculpt or faceup tbh. He looks mature for a Teen sculpt, which is really what I needed.

Oh, I bet he is going to be marvelous in tan! That outfit is really going to complement the color nicely. I'd like to have a tan Ringdoll. I've been toying with the idea of getting an Aooni or Andy in tan. Which will have to wait a long time, since I've already filled my doll quota for the year. In April.

 

I'm going to push the button on a wheat-colored White Rabbit since it's the only RD color I don't have.

can someone please tell me what size the teens are? It says on the order page of WR that he's 62cm with head which would be perfect.
but, looking at the RT-03 body, it says 64cm with head. ????

any info will be thanked for with pixilated chocolate.

 

I have both the 02 and the 03 they are 2 cm difference but my tape measure says 60 and 62 to the tops of their heads. Their torso length is about the same but the new leg is longer. The 03 is more robust like the Doll Legend on the left. K is on the 03 and Saint is on the discontinued 02.

I really like the new Aooni fullset. I was thinking of getting him to turn into this character until they released White Rabbit, who is exactly what I wanted. They're really killing it with the full sets lately.

Yay!! More White Rabbits! Part of why I want him is also just because I want a RT body XD I like the 03 version. I only have grown bodies so far tho.

 

I think the new body makes him 64cm. I asked RD to be sure, but I want him either way.

Well I'm back from DollAKon with a new Ringdoll (again! I should not be allowed to shop for dolls in person. I cave every time). I was lucky enough to grab Aooni's full set A! I will admit I mostly wanted the body and his accessories, but holy hell his little face is so adorable. Seriously I'm in love. I may have to rethink my plans again. (I really wanted this body for my Senkai head though. So torn)

I haven't had time to look at the body yet, but it seems like it poses pretty well!

I have very bad luck buying head and body with the thought that the body will belong to another doll. even sharing.
everyone wants their own style, tatts, hands, etc. I've always wanted Boyce in tan. I have the head - a gift when I bought Shen fullset - and I have yet to paint Boyce or put him on the other body. Shen just sits with antlers on (not his original ones) next to Soom Sard in whiteskin. They're both naked. Sitting right here in a chair next to my PC desk.

I'm usually good at it XD My RGM04 from last year has had several owners so far lol
I think part of it is the head I really bought it for technically has a body on the way. So, if it's ever shipped I'd have a floating body. So Aooni could just keep his. Though I might want something smaller for him in the future.

I love Boyce so much. He's top of my "someday" list.

Picked up my Little Red Riding Hood from the post office today! Let me just say, the teen girl body 3 has a crazy amount of chest. I mean none of my girls has much going on up top, so maybe I'm not the best judge. Another difference is that the 3 body doesn't have the silicone pieces in the hip joint like the four does. It's a really pretty body, though, and her face is beautiful. She and Lora resemble each other enough that I Think they will be sisters. Hoping to get some pictures later this week or next! Lora got one of the Ringdoll Julia outfits, too, and it is so cute!

@VampireAngel13 So glad you got the tan Aooni. He is beautiful. I spent forever trying to decide whether I should buy his outfit for my Lora, as I love the jacket. I know it's going to big for her, but it is gorgeous!

 

Does anyone have Daniel-B fullset or even just the doll with the company faceup? I absolutely adore him and consider him one of my grails, but I would like to see him not just in company photos before I pay so much money for him!

Hello, this is my first post so I hope I am doing this tight, but I am looking for someone in possession of an Akaoni or Scarlett Faust. I ordered her a couple weeks ago and have been exchanging emails with a wig artist who needs several measurements. I have communicated with Ringdoll about this but due to the language barrier I am not fully confident in the measurements I recieved. Is anyone able to assist me with this?

I have just seen Alice01 and fallen in love, I am planning on ordering her. I feel like I have to order her and she even looks exactly like me! The fullset has the same hair and eye colour, she has the same face shape, lips, eyes. chin and nose as me! I showed her picture to me mum and she agrees that we look the same!
