Resinsoul Waiting Room v.6

I remember when I ordered my centaur in October they told me it would be about two months to make and send out so chances are yours is on its way! How exciting!

edit: I got confirmation that they’ve finished making my doll. I replied over the weekend so hopefully it’ll be shipped out soon. I can’t wait to get my Daytime and I also can’t wait to see other owner pics!

Shipping from China to Norway took surprisingly short time, only a week.

 

my Daytime centaur has arrived, just under two months after ordering. It's a gorgeous doll, and I don't regret that impulsive purchase.

 

I've been waiting for about 2 weeks for my spring she's supposed to come mid-late January. Already bought her clothes and I'm doing some character planning but it's a bit hard without being able to look at her physically

 

I bought a blank RS Mi in stock at DDE, I'm so excited! She's gonna be my outer space alien cute comfy girl, Marlene. Waffled on her sculpt choice for years but I always knew she would be a RS doll (she was actually inspired by the Chun sculpt when she was released!). Originally I kept envisioning her as a green resin girl, but it was hard to reconcile that with every other doll in my collection being natural or natural-adjacent skintones, lol. So I figure I'll try her with green hair first instead, and if it just doesn't match the ~creative vision~ then I'll still have a beautiful Mi to dress up and figure out a little name or story for. A bit worried about the holiday shipping craze, but hopefully she'll get here safe and sound! DDE is absolutely ON IT as usual, I got the tracking number already! (for once I ordered BEFORE noon Denver time, lmao ).

 

Just got a notification from DHS from the same shipping location as when I got Ya on the Shi body - I think Daytime is coming home!

I think most except the tail is unique from the female horse body, but only in pretty small ways. He also stands better and doesn't kick me in the knuckles.
Oh! And he has a small air bubble defect on one of his rear ankle joints. It's not enough for me to care I think. Ni has two as well.
His name is Seleph- and much like Olvaee's loosely name is based on Nuckelavee, his name is based on Sleipnir.

The 1/6 girl body fits Monster High clothes (but they're tight and pants a bit short)! Very scrawny compared to other 1/6th that I have or seen in person.
I asked for eyes half closed; I'm going to paint a bit of a glare on this doll. A friend of mine says they look mischievous~
The body also has some air bubble defects, one in the knee joint and one really shallow one on left ring finger.

His name is Gin- he's a reshell of a True Love Jade that didn't work out for a variety of reasons (puffy cheeks and dye coming off with faceup)

 

I just ordered a Twilight in tan resin with her face up and a blank Miao in white resin from Denver Doll Emporium. I never thought I would be able to get these elusive sculpts, like ever. I am excited, can't wait till they get here. Both are in-stock dolls!

 

My Mi arrived safe and sound, and I'm working on her faceup! It's been a cold winter this year, but we've had a few days that were warm enough to spray sealant so it's been slow going. Can't wait to get her finished and show her off

 

Ordered Xun through Denver Doll a few weeks ago. I've wanted to order her since the start of the pandemic and didn't until recently

 

Just got a DHL alert out of Hong Kong this morning; expected for Wednesday. Looking forward to seeing my custom request in person and getting to start working on clothes for him. Last thing now is just waiting for tracking for his head.

ETA 1/18: My boy arrived yesterday, 1/17, a day ahead of his scheduled date.

 

Well, I've made my yearly Resinsoul order! This time it's for bodies: A bigger boy body in dark tan for my Dollshe Orijean head, and a 45cm body with a normal torso and transparent gray hips, arms and legs for my cyberpunk project head! Sun quoted me 45 days (which is crazy fast!!)

 

Very curious to see the transparent grey for the cyberpunk project. Are you planning to paint any overlay/add greebles, or use as-is?

 

I'm definitely planning on painting, maybe even carving it a bit. I have all sorts of bits I can inlay into the resin, i just need to not overdo it! I'm also thinking of stringing him with a different color elastic, maybe red?

Ordered my first bjd in almost 6 years from resin soul recently! I ordered the Mu doll and some eyes for him and I am so very excited to get my hands on him and start customizing!

 

I ordered Dan on the Ai body (in dark tan) this weekend. I also ordered a light blue Lu. I got a quote of 50 days from Sun for both dolls and some spare parts to finally make my purple Pixiu into a boy doll.

 

Ordered a second Resinsoul doll, a Zhen/Yun custom (different head and hands, Yun's horns) this weekend. Told to expect about 50 days. Which gives me some time to clean and fix my airbrush.

 

I just ordered my 2nd doll ever, a Mei in dark tan. I have a Doll Leaves Teresa in white and she made me fall in love with those pointy elf ears. I’m so excited for her to have a buddy!

 

Currently waiting for a Cen ordered in late january, and also for a Yang and a Mai head ordered this weekend. Resinsoul dolls are... A little too tempting orz

 

Ordered an RS Mi on March 15. I'm so excited to get her! She'll be my first female BJD (except for an RS Yu I had a few years ago but ended up giving away), and I can't wait to be able to sew for her

 

And my order is ready! Sun sent an email checking my address, but it'll be in its way soon. So fast! I ordered January 31st! 50 days.

 

Got a second Resinsoul order going on now, but not to me! I'm doing a trade with a friend for clothes she's making, and the doll is per her specifications-Lan head (with necessary neck adjustments), Zhen torso, Shi rest of body. Should be about 50 days, the same time period estimated for my dragon girl.

 

When you order a doll that’s that customized, do you just order straight through Resinsoul? I only have a few dolls so I’m kind of new to all the customization. Just think it’s neat

 

Yes, you just e-mail Sun and list off what you'd like; you're then told if they can do it or not and given a quote. It's a very easy process. Just make sure you have the Pantone color number if ordering custom colored resin.

I ended up ordering a Long head for a Resinsoul body that I had spare. I ordered thru the cart system… the last time I ordered was via email. Does Resinsoul send email confirmation for orders placed via cart? I have the order number here so it‘s okay but I just thought I’d check anyway

 

I got a confirmation email from them a day or two after I placed my order via the cart.

 

I think my Cen is arriving next Monday. As always with resinsoul, I only know because fedex is warning me that I have an incoming package

 

I confirm that was my Cen, and he even arrived a little early, friday instead of monday
He is gorgeous, I'm glad I gave in to winter depression and bought him

 

My bodies are here!! They arrived yesterday, and the smaller body with the transparent is the absolute best. I'm thrilled to bits! The bigger boy body...it's just not the right color. It's gorgeous, but doesn't match my head at all. It's my fault, but I'm a tad disappointed. I realize now that I was subconsciously matching to his 3d printed head back, which is a good 90% match.

I'm going to color match the head, or at least blush the hands and neck a bit for some more unity. I'm actually debating sketching wood grain on it and changing the character a bit into a sort of automaton.

Just found out the Long head I ordered shipped, no notifcation just a text from fedex lol

 

Placed what's likely my last BJD for the year, since this'll round out my family. Yet another custom-Ju head, Rong torso, Shi limbs. Estimate is the same 50 days I've gotten for everything else. (And since my dragon girl is coming up on that, I'm very antsy for for the shipping update.)

 

My first BJD is on its way from Resinsoul, a Su with a custom faceup! I'm glad I read up on the company since, like described, I just got a text from DHL that a package from China was en route lmao... here's hoping it is, in fact, my doll! I'm so excited ;_;

 

Hurray! Resinsoul is such a great company for a first doll too. Their quality just keeps improving.

 

My yang+mai head should arrive monday! I'm excited, especially since I have a long weekend next week and I should be able to take care of them

 

I ordered Resinsoul Yang plus 2 sets of jointed hands on April 30th,they said is will take 50 days,which is really fast

Just sent the email to Sun to order some custom stuff from him! I'm getting an obsidian body to match a twigling head and a purple Bobbie Charisma. Excited fro him to reply so I can add myself to the waitlist!

 

Ahh, I forgot to post here! I'm still waiting for a colormatched body for my Luts event head. Been about a month, so hopefully I won't have to wait much longer.

 

Sun responded right away so I’m officially in the waiting room! Hoping for a short wait for all of us!

 

Got my body! The colormatching turned out fairly well considering I only sent photos, I'm really happy with it.
Didn't get a shipping notification, but DHL Express messaged me for the customs fee so I knew to expect it.
Also, the carrier bag it was sent in was blue instead of beige. I suppose it's nice to have variation.
The body itself behaves better than expected, I did not have to suede to get it to stand up securely.

 

Thought I would mention here in case anyone was ever curious lol.

I've ordered from ResinSoul directly in the past and I usually get my order within 2 months!
Though to save on time since I was ordering a couple other things, I bought an RS body through Denver Doll.

After two months I sent em an email just to check in, and they told me on average RS takes 6 months if you order through DDE :0c


So just a note, order direct, you'll get your stuff way faster xD

I got Jun (with non-finned elf ears) on Tang's body in light tan, and Ruoxi (with elf ears) on a human body in a custom resin color (going darker than dark tan). They're to shell two OCs who are near and dear to my heart!

 

Placed an order for a normal-skin 72 cm body last night! Hopefully it won't be too long of a wait.

I don't believe so! Might need to check my email or the site to see if they have. Fwiw, when I ordered eyes direct from them a while back, they certainly didn't take too much time - though the fact that they seemed to have had some in stock/ready to ship probably made a difference. I don't know if they'd have that same availability with bodies.

I can imagine that ~20 days feel like an eternity, lol! I hope your order arrives soon enough, though.

whoops I never updated about my rs yang,well at least I can say it took 50 days and then I received him,very happy with him so far.
Anyways I did order recently a custom rs Heng with his left arm/hand in clear resin in the color gray as well as jointed hands,left hand in clear resin in the color grey,I'm planning to make him into Bucky Barnes(winter soldier).
And I might buy another rs Heng to create Steve Rogers (captain America) hopefully I can buy him by the end of 2023

 

Did they send you shipping information? Did you take some unboxing pictures?

 

uhm which doll? I posted my rs yang in the bobobie/resinsoul discussion as for rs Heng still waiting for that one,I estimate he will arrive end November
