Resinsoul Waiting Room v.6

A lot of people mentioned that they don't usually give shipping tracking, but do they often usually not announce it's shipping at all?

Mostly I think it depends. In my experience talking to sun via email to order instead of off site leads to the email.
You can also just ask him to email you when he does send it! He's so super nice and good to work with, so I'm sure he will have no problem doing so.

Finally got a good chance to play with my girl last night. Got her eyes changed to one of the pairs I ordered (still waiting on the other pair) and was happy to find that she fits both of the wigs I got and though the dress I made didn't quite turn out how I planned, it fits which considering other than fastenings the whole thing was made while waiting for her with pretty much only measurements to go off of I'd call it a win.
Once I can figure out transferring pictures from my phone and figure out how to take better photos, I'll get some uploaded. I wasn't entirely prepared for her size but it doesn't bother me beyond the fact that I don't think I can handle her as a travel buddy.
Need to get some more clothing made for her as well as narrow down my etsy shopping list (went crazy window shopping before bed) now that she's home.
She can't stand on her own without buckling under her own weight, and her arms are a little kicky, but I barely was able to get her head reattached after fixing her eyes and will have to deal with that again when I do her lashes, so I don't think I'm going to attempt restringing her right now and she sits wonderfully so that's good enough for me right now.
Anyway, long story short, I'm loving having her in my collection. Sorry for the wall of text, this is just the most excited I've been about a doll in a long time.

I got it off of Amazon from a link Asenva shared on her blog after seeing how nice the ones she'd ordered looked on her stream. I have another for her from the same place that is white fading into pink with braids but the style looked too medieval/fantasy for her current outfit.

Happy to help. I'd need to double check but I believe at least some of them are able to be heat styled as well.

 

Sigh, so I contacted Sun after seeing a few lost delivery trucks this past week. They emailed back and at first I was confused...then I realized my mistake. Luckily they didn't send it yet, but I got married this past year and my paypal was my maiden name. They didn't want to assume my address and phone number in case it was bought by someone else as a gift. So I verified my address and name and phone number and now Xun should be on her way! Luckily I emailed just as her production was done.

I am just glad to know she isn't lost and an extra week or so shipping time is fine by me. I just can't wait to hold her. lol!

Oh no! I'm sorry that you've got a bit more of a wait. Glad you emailed though, otherwise who knows how long it would be till Xun arrived. At least shipping is pretty fast so you won't have to wait too much longer. Please share pics of your girl when she comes home. I'm excited to see her.
I'm sure she'll be worth the wait since Resinsoul makes such beautiful dolls.

 

It's alright, like my husband said. It is better to wait a little longer than have her sent to the wrong address or name and get mixed up and lost. I will make sure to get looooots of pictures. I am being as well behaved and patient as I can....which is getting worse by the day! And I couldn't agree more, I think even the longer waits from all the other places are worth it for how beautiful all their sculpts look

Sun emailed me back with a tracking number Xun is due home (estimated) June 28th!
Time to start thinking names again (I am sure she will tell me when she gets here) and get ready to spam pictures of her!

 

I used to have a RS Xun named Umbra... honestly I'm so tempted to order her again but with some elf ears! Xun and Dawn are both so gorgeous, new RS dolls are really bringing it imo

 

I love their new dolls! Then again I loved their older ones too. It's true though the newer ones are really full of life. I had my eye on Xun since she was announced. I already want another and I don't even have her yet I have just been toying with character ideas that would involve having a second one....may have to ask the hubby for holidays

 

Lol!! I definitely think im planning on ordering Dawn or Cen next, I wanted to see if Sun would make either one with 4 arms ! (I would put dawn on the regular body) but I again also love Wei... there are so many choices!

 

I have such a tendency towards supernatural dolls so I am thinking of asking for a Xun with extra thigh joints for positioning but I sorta want a normal human for a change. Even my Xun on the way is a ghost girl with transparent and white parts lol.
I did check shipping today and she cleared customs today and only 1 state away .... too excited

 

Aaah, my custom Resinsoul Mi arrived and she's absolutely perfect. Exactly the color I was hoping for. She practically glows!

I am now all the more excited. I just got the "out for delivery by end of day" notice, while I was typing here. About half a week early. Now I stalk every vehicle that goes by :3

The part that really impresses me is the blue is all body blushing. She's white and clear. I loooove how well they did.

 

mine will be 2 months on the 2nd. I'm hoping he gets here before my birthday in late september, since I intend to order another doll for my birthday LOL. i've got my eyes on a fairy castle dove as the girlfriend to my islanddoll amy. I get so impatient waiting on dolls LOL.

 

I think that's the hard part, you're waiting for a doll and while waiting looking at others and then suddenly you have a whole list ready and still waiting on one
But fingers crossed they ship fast!

 

Waiting on dolls is why I had three and 2 on layaway by the time my first ordered arrived. Luckily Resinsoul has short wait times compared to most companies as long as you order direct. Odds are I'll be ordering from them again before long once I narrow down what I want to get.

 

Im at my 2 month mark pretty much... so tempted to email Sun! I don't want to bother him though haha. Somehow all the other waiting seems easy compared to the wait nearly being over but not quite done.

 

You are not counting the weekends, right? Remember the weekends or holidays don’t count. I always a
add a little bit of more time. If they told me two months I always ways wait 2 more weeks before I contact them after the 2 month mark as passed

no news on my boy. I'm kind of regretting ordering through denver doll but I couldn't use paypal for this lol. has anyone else ever had an experience where denver doll was kind of rude? I haven't had much communication with them but the few times I have they were kind of rude to me. idk lol

 

I have ordered through them but it was an in stock item so my wait time was nothing. However, they did have a bunch listed in stock and when I ordered they let me know it wasn't really in stock and would be a few months before I got it. I ended up picking a different doll they had in stock (I was already torn between the two so it wasn't a problem; I just couldn't afford both.)
They seemed nice enough but that was my only interaction with them.

I hope it goes better for you though and that they get your boy ordered soon

 

I got news that my order is finished tonight! Just had to send name and phone number (assume for something related to shipping?)

I ordered the 28th of April but I also contacted them about adjusting the nose which added time.

(Actually, based on timing, I'm really curious if that's related to Cen's nose, or if it was just coincidental timing lol)

Because of that, I have no idea how he's going to look into he actually arrives!

 

i'm popping in and out because apparently i never added my name to the waitlist even though i thought i had lol
i emailed resinsoul in mid-april for a custom cast of their 60cm male body in black resin with jointed hands, and it arrived on June 24th. i wanted this body for my IOS thera head as the body they came with was completely out of proportion on him, and this body is perfect and a 95% resin match!

So I emailed Sun for an update and he said he is Shipping my SD girl in the next 2 days! Super excited! He also seemed very apologetic, maybe they're having an issue ?

I got my shipping notice for one of the resinsoul 72cm Yi body I order. Definitely resinsoul 2 month shipping estimate is correct. I’m so happy. I wish I would get the surprise and get the 2nd body I order too. But I know it won’t happen because I just order that body last month. I still need to wait 1 more month.

 

I got a DHL shipping notice from Hong Kong. Should I assumed is my second resin soul body? I haven’t got any email from them telling me the body was shipped and that’s the only thing outside the states that I’m waiting for. Also it has been exactly two months since I order and that was their estimate shipping time :p

 

I would think it's the body. From what I've heard Resinsoul only sends notice some of the time and if you're not expecting anything else...

 

Once again my dreams have been shattered. I got my resinsoul 72cm Yi body with the smooth abdomen but the resin was to dark. I think there might be something wrong with my vision or my tablet screen because the color look the same to the head. It look not bad in pictures but in person the head is way lighter than the body. It looks like if he is wearing tons of makeup. I’m so dad

 

I'm so sorry the match is off. It isn't too off though and if you blush the chest I don't think it will look too off.

 

I'm a little shocked at the speed, but it appears the Song I ordered on august 10th has already been sent, and fedex claims it will arrive on thursday
I thought I had at least another month of waiting ahead of me, so nothing is ready at all, he'll have to wear leftovers

Decided to order a 72cm Yi body to go with the Pygmalion head I ordered. I ordered directly from resinsoul.com I'm...a little bit nervous about the website because the English was a lil hard to navigate? Also, does anyone know what "Order undisposed" means?

 

Sounds like your order is in their system but hasnt been dispatched. If in doubt, you can always contact their customer service. Sun is very lovely and replies quickly.

 

Wow, you weren't kidding! I sent them an email asking a question and they were so fast to get back to me. They also told me it would take about 45 days for my order which is bonkers! That's so fast. Other doll companies I was looking at were, like, in the realm of 5-6 months so this is mind blowing how fast they are.

I'm so glad for this thread and everyone in it who has mentioned the suuuuper long wait time through DDE On June 17th I put down my deposit for a Rong body, jointed hands, and heel feet. Being brand new to the hobby, I had no idea at the time that you could easily order directly from Resinsoul and get your order so much quicker LOL! I'll definitely do that next time I get a Resinsoul doll. In November it will have been 6 months, so hopefully I'll have my girl by Christmas...

 

If you still need help in posting photos, the FAQ here has steps on how to do it You basically upload the photos to your favourite image hosting site and then link the images by embedding them into your post.

 

Throwing my hat in here. Ordered a Cen with Long ears in black, plus matching jointed hands, and a pair of the 1/3 female heeled feet also in black. I asked if RS could make heeled feet for Cen and they said they can't but if I don't mind them being a little smaller then I can do the female feet so I'll be trying that. Ordered direct and part of a short group layaway, though I've already paid off my (the largest) portion.

@redtag Ordering via DDE, they actually place the order from Bobobie and that's why their wait is so long. I made that mistake last time with a RS tiny that took like 6-7 months to arrive. And they didn't even check it before ship and he had missing pieces that I had to wait another 1-2 months for.

 

Oh no!! I guess at least the missing pieces didn't take 6+ months... but yikes. Yeah, definitely not ordering from DDE for Resinsoul again- if I fall in love with anything from CP/Fairyland I might, but it just makes more sense to go directly through RS from now on.
