Yes you need a pass to attend or sell at the swap. If you want to sell/trade you need a pass and it costs $10 to get a table.

 

when does the convention open? i live far away but am planning to attend and need to plan.

This will be my first (BJD) con!! I'm so excited! A little bummed I always work Fri + Sat, but Sunday looks just as fun

We are 7 days away from the 3-day pass and vendor cut off date. Please make sure to sign up before July 17th.

2-day and 1-day passes will be available to preregister until the 10th and then will be available for purchase at the door.

 

Tomorrow is the last day to register for 3-day passes, apply for a vendor booth and reserve a room at the hotel.

We are less than 2 weeks away. You can preregister for 2 and 1 day passes until the 10th.

 

Can you not use the two day pass for Friday? I was about to buy, but it looks like it is Sat/Sun only, but Friday will probably be the only day I can attend.

 

Friday is an opening ceremony dinner only and the tickets are sold out.

Saturday/Sunday includes Vendor Hall, Raffles and Panels.

@MysteryAya What are the policies for us taking our own photos (with permission from doll owners and etc)? I'm not sure I could find anything about that on the website.

Also, is it possible to upgrade a one-day pass to a two-day, paying the difference (even though it's after the 10th)? I sent an email too, just in case.

 

@thetinyshiloh Sorry it took so long to get back to you. Prepping is keeping us busy. We will have a photography area for you to take pictures of your dolls in our interactive sets. For taking pictures of other peoples' dolls, people and booths, we recommend asking before you take pictures. Most people are okay with it.

@MysteryAya that's totally ok, thank you so much! And yes, of course, I always ask permission when taking photos. Not sure if my first doll will be here on time tbh :c

Thank you everyone for coming to Resin Rose and making it a great success. Thank you to the vendors and sponsors as well. Without all of you, we wouldn't be able to continue on with the show. This year was amazing and our largest turn out yet!! We are planning our 5th show already. If you weren't able to make it to the closing ceremonies our dates for the next show is August 16-18th, 2019 at the Monarch Hotel and the theme will be Monster/Haunted Doll related. We will have a tag line and logo soon. We will get a new DOA thread about the next show up soon too.

Thanks, that was super fun! The only other doll con I've been to was BJDC when I went on the free day and didn't even have a doll yet. But I I stayed all Saturday this time.

 

I’m so extremely sad I didn’t realize this was going on and literally like 15 minutes from my house!?! Is this the only convention that happens in the Portland area?

 

This is the only BJD Exclusive convention in Portland. We will be back next year- August 16-18th, 2019 . We hope you can make that one
