Random fact about your doll

Fact: Ashe-head the Souldoll Kanguk is my most realistic-looking resin kid. I had not expected that, but then, eh, I own mostly Dollzone. XD

 

Fact - The second doll I ordered will actually be my 4th that arrives D:

 

I ordered my second doll when my first doll hadn't gotten to me yet. I sorta felt guilty, but not too much!

 

Fact: The second doll I ordered was the first to arrive thanks to Customs, and he actually arrived twice ( I was accidentally sent two dolls - I kept the one with the face up, which is what I'd ordered and sent the other one back).

 

Fact: Sha eyes are green but that will shine kind of golden when I take pics of him.

 

Fact: Ramza (Soom Trachy) is my best stander of all my dolls... possibly because he's a yo-SD. Also, nobody else is short enough to stand on my desk, besides the super-tinies who all have issues with standing. ^^;

 

Fact: Both my dolls have fallen apart on me and needed to be restrung.

 

Fact- Aelic's eyes are the wrong color...and I haven't gotten any brown ones yet, even though it's the most common eye color.

 

Fact: I bought my second girl secondhand. She has two scratches in her heel, a little chip out of her thigh, and more scratches at the top of her neck, and she's yellowed evenly. I love her to death--maybe even more than my pristine, straight-from-factory first.

 

Fact: My first girl was supposed to be a tomboy but I couldn't help but clothe her in pretty things. XD;

 

Fact- I secretly want to put Aelic in dresses... x.x But I won't 'cause he's supposed to be a normal boy.

 

Fact: One of my very favorite dolls spent over a year in pieces when my boyfriend "cleaned" his room and misplaced her torso.

 

Fact: My first bjd spent two years in his box since I could never find clothes for him.

 

My SD Boy likes to somehow grab out to girls for hugs. Wonder why?

 

Fact: Gemini has a very floppy head.

 

Fact: My 12th full doll home is my first official proper restring. He is... a Bobobie. XD

Fact: I've ordered a doll for Jian... who has two more dolls on his wishlist. Why'd I write and then shell a character who likes BJDs too? XD Oh well, his wishlist dollies are cute ...and cheaper than mine...

 

Still haven't gotten Stephen newer, better elastic. I'm lucky if I can somehow get him to sit down without falling over.

 

Fact: Nouva was the first doll I ordered, but my second doll to arrive home!
Fact: Cieco was the first doll I had to make up a character for, so I'd have an excuse to order him!
Fact: Löwe was almost ousted by a SoulDoll Chiron - luckily for him I couldn't resist his Fire Lord ears!
Fact: Katarin was the first doll I ordered with her default outfit!
Fact: Falx was my first fantasy-coloured doll!
Fact: Alesonder is the only doll I've ordered through Soom's Japanese site instead of their English one!
Fact: Tarot was my first doll to steal clothing from another doll line (she stole my Pullip Chill's jacket)!
Fact: Shonki is my only doll to not fit in a story with all my other dolls. He just represents my pet cat :3
Fact: Döv (in human form) is my only dyed dolly part!
Fact: Cieco (in human form) is the only doll I've got through trading (I traded a Cass human dress for him)!
Fact: Chimera was the doll who went the longest without a name or a character (she wasn't named until after Tarot and Schism arrived home)!
Fact: Schism is (currently) my only romantic-eyed doll! This will soon change with my incoming R. Heliot.
Fact: Demon used to have a name, but I decided he wasn't right for that character!
Fact: Charlotte's default outfit is the one I most regret not getting for myself!
Fact: Nephelin is my only religious character so far!

 

Fact: Val has got a mind of his own. I picked him out to be a character of mine, but now he decided to be a fox boy type thingy and is in love with my girlfriend's doll (who's a girl and he's supposed to lean more towards men)...

 

I adore my Dollzone Aurora's left foot because when I received her, there was a small chunk of resin stuck between two of her toes. I sanded it away and now feel extra bonded with that foot...

 

True fact...Macchiato, my Chocopuki Cupid, likes to sleep naked.

 

I'm going to dress my doll as a HP wizard (not one of the main characters) and I haven't even written in that my doll has any fondness for Harry Potter at all.

 

Fact?: A blue and white Asian-themed tea set I bought from a thrift store for Jareth and (in-waiting-limbo) Mei Ling might actually be worth something. O.o It has no manufacturer's mark but the main pieces say "Made in Occupied Japan" on the bottom and that mark doesn't come off with nail polish (the usual sign that it would be fake, as I have learned since).

Fact: I ended up getting all three of the bizarre glitter-encrusted b*rbies because I got the second from a thrift store by chance with Bratz clothes I wanted for Lilia (Soom Trachy surprised head / on-order BBB red Isabella body hybrid)... and Jian (DoD Homme Ducan) wanted the third and final doll to be his own first doll. To help tide him over while he waits on his Dollmore Banji girl. XD

Fact: Nightweaver and I have introduced our dolls Angelo and Michael, guessing that the two might end up a bit more than just friends. I realized as "they" were chatting away online that combining their names makes... Michaelangelo. XD

Fact: I expected my Epidos head to require fantasy eyes of some sort and a light-colored wig. Instead he fell right into a standard black slightly-long wig and plain old blue glass eyes like they'd always belonged to him.

 

Fact: I got my first doll, Chulyen, in 2005. 6 years and 5 more dolls later, he's still my favorite. If I had to get rid of my dolls for any reason, he'd be the last to go.

 

Fact: No one dressed up this year due to the unfortunate surprise that was a lack of fabric.

Fact: I'm thinking of creating a Suicide Awareness poster featuring one of my dolls. His character isn't suicidal, but he's my only SD, and I want to use an SD.

 

Fact: I've had my first two dolls for just over a year and I haven't found their proper names yet!!

 

Layla is actually named after my dad's dream daughter, aka the name I should have had XD

That and she's a redhead, and I thought the one color hair she WOULDN'T have was red, but she just insisted on it.

 

Fact: It took me an hour to dress my first doll during the box opening video as I struggled with her loose limbs and sliding clothes.

 

Fact: All my girls are based off hentai game (Visual Novel) characters.

 

My first (and only) doll is currently just a wigless, eyeless head... and he's second hand... and he's still in the package box he was mailed to me in.

 

Fact 1: Most of my dolls have additional secondary characters, and I am not talking about different head versions here (f.e. my Mylo is both Melody and Melusine, my R. Kivi is Bianca and Elaine);

Fact 2: There are three pairs of characters that share at least the body, but not the headsculpt.

Fact 3: There are three characters that have two dolls each to represent them O.o

facts: My first doll took the longest to finish because I couldn't find matching eyes for a long time.
The order period for my grey skin Iplehouse Luna was already over, but I asked and they said there was a cancelled order so they could make an exception and take mine instead.
The dollzone limited fox I got from the marketplace was the only doll I didn't make new clothes for and didn't change at all. He was just perfect.
Since I only wear black everone is confused why I mostly sew colored clothes for my dolls.
The doll I did my first face-up on had it changed about 3 times. Face-ups I did after that on my other dolls were made just once.
One of my rats really likes sleeping with my dolls.

 

Fact: I have a bed for my tinies couple and now an MSD one for Aiden and nobody uses them anyways. xD *sigh* They're good for photoshoots at least!

 

Fact: My Spirit Doll Dark has WAY weaker ankles than either of my other Spirit boys. It makes me a sad panda.

 

Hmm Some dolly facts
Fact: My second doll, Irukandji, was originally going to be named "Covet" but had to be changed as my father refused to allow something named after a sin in his house.
Fact: My second name choice for Irukandji was "Aden".
Fact: Tovarish was supposed to be "James".
Fact: I only ever heard the word tovarish(true spelling unknown) on the tv series "Trinity Blood" and only after hearing the meaning of that word did I decide to use it as a doll name.

And some character facts:
Fact: Tovarish's brother, Severin, still calls him James
Fact no one but me knows: Severin has a thing for old muscle cars and had a tramp-stamp tattoo before adding to it to get a full back tattoo.

Sev: "I'm going to murder you!"

 

Fact: My dolls' arrival dates become their birthdays. Except my Lu-Wen; since his head and body came separately, I don't know which date I would use. And it's a moot issue, as I don't remember what day either part of him came anyway. So he's my only doll with no birthday.

 

Fact: Name of my first doll is name of guitarist of japanese nagoya-kei group 'deadman'.

 

My soom Glot likes to dress up as a bat for halloween!

 

Fact: I own Dollmore's tiniest girl doll (okay technically she belongs to my doll Jian) who is also my tiniest BJD (with a body anyways). Meanwhile, my grail doll who is the most expensive doll on my wish list and also the largest... is Dollmore's Ice Dahlia. And the funniest part is: I prefer boy dolls!

 

Fact: My character Mort is a dragon, and I chose a Dragondoll to embody him. I found that highly ironic. I actually bought the doll on impulse (technically I begged my mom to buy him for christmas for me) and didn't have a name or character for him. Then as I was thinking on him Mort kept poking at me in my head telling me that that's him.

Fact: My first doll Melody is exactly like I wanted her to be. She's meant to embody a character who posses a fire dragon soul. One day I went to a friend's house and we tried to stand her by one of her dolls but she kept falling over. Once we took him away she stood just fine. Turned out the first doll is a water fae.

Fact: When I was trying to suede Mort he bit my really hard with his torso and wouldn't let go!! Good thing I only needed to Suede his hips... His stringing was really weird too! Like it went from one arm to a leg and another elastic from the other arm to the other leg. Good thing I had bought extra elastic to restring him properly.

Fact: None fo my dolls are the same skin color (white, grey, natural)
Fact: My second doll came with a birth mark on his bum! seems like something got into his resin while he was being cast O.o
Fact: My MSD refuses to wear shoes, as soon as I put some on him he automatically curls into a fetal position :3

 

Fact: Mei Ling (DZ Morphoa) is my first SD girl, which means she has a grand total of nobody to share clothes with... although some of the guy stuff probably fits her. Glad I got her as a fullset, so I can think about more girlclothes later. ^_^

Fact: Dollzone Dongdong with goggles painted on fast in photoshop looks amusingly like Riddick from The Chronicles of Riddick and whatnot. I think I may know where this tiny is headed...

 

Fact: My tiny and all of her many clothing items fit in a small glasses case.

 

Fact: I have 8 dolls in total and each one of them has only one set of clothing.

Fact: But each one of these dolls have more than 2 wigs and 2 pair of eyes.

Fact: My latest doll received is the oldest doll I own by production date.

Fact: 6 years of owning a dark tanned doll from the early days of tanned resin has taught me that it's FAR easier to faceup/dress/colour-coordinate/keep them from yellowing and/or greening than NS or WS dolls.

Fact: I love green eyes. This is manifest by the number of green/blue-green eyed dolls I have in my collection.

Fact: I bought my Crobidoll LJ because I wanted Crobidoll's winter event goodies.

Fact: The first doll company I ever ordered directly from was Soom, 4 years after getting my first doll.

Fact: Every doll name I give has multiple layers of meaning and significance.

 

Fact: I bought a gender-swapped Dollzone June for Dollzone's Kuilan event doll. At least Ashe gets his body out of it. xD

Fact: Of the five different types of Dollzone bodies I own, only two have rotating elbows: the new MSD boy and 68cm boy bodies. The 58cm girl, 70cm boy, and 72cm boy bodies just have bending elbows; double-jointed and all, but no rotation.

Fact: The majority hair color for my resin clan is definitely black, while eye color has more variety but the majority by statistics is blue. I also have a ridiculous amount of blue eyes in the miscellaneous bag of unclaimed eyes.

 

Fact: My next SD-size girlwill be on a modded SD10 boy body as I can't find suitably flat chested girl/immature bodies in that size.... {grrrr}

Teddy

 

Fact: My first choice for my doll was BB Apollo, but I went with BB Weylin instead.
Fact: All of my dolls are Bobobie/ Resinsoul.
Fact: None of my dolls have the same color resin- (even though Weylin and RS Dia are both normal skin tone- Dia's is a lot paler)
Fact: The first character I wanted to buy a doll for was Shauna Kei- she was the last doll I purchased and she went through eleven sculpts before settling on RS Dai.
Fact: I ordered Khep (RS Jun) for Aoife (BB Espree) to have someone her size around.
Fact: My RS Pixiu (on order) is my first Yo-SD and my first "fantasy" sculpt.

 

Fact - I sometimes forget how many dolls I have. Not because it's too many, I just can't remember them.
Fact - My dolls names have no bigger meaning, but many of them end up fitting surprisingly good.
Fact - I love boys and girls equally, but for some reason I can't stop buying girls.
Fact - I love buying shoes.
Fact - My dolls dress in normal, casual clothing even though they mostly live in fantasy worlds.

 

Fact- I can NOT face-up at all.(Should have known that I couldn't do doll eyeliner evenly if I can't even get my own to be even.)
Fact- All of the dolls I love and want are males. I only have girls or genderless tinies so far.
Fact- I got all of my six dolls within the first six months of starting this hobby, two pre-owned, four straight from their company.
Fact- My yo-SD and MSD wear the same size wig and eyes, they have the most options of both out of all of my dolls.

 

Fact: My boy looks better without a wig than with the two i bought for him.

 

FACT: I searched and searched for the right shade of eyes while waiting for Fox, my Husky and did not find them before he arrived, but when I got him, the glass eyes he came with were perfect, and he has never worn any other pair.

 

Fact: counting the dolls in waiting limbo and on layaway, my normal skin dolls outnumber my white skin dolls almost two-to-one. In earlier days, the white skin dollies held the majority. XD

Fact: With 27 dolls (some being floating heads and counting waiting/layaways) I have 5 resin colors represented, not counting variations in shade between similar colors: white, normal pink, normal yellow, lilac, red.

Fact: My only doll with painted fingernails is Asura, and his toenails are painted too (black, it was part of the limited body blushing/tattoos/etc). And I still haven't fixed them even though the paint chipped about a year ago. ^^;;

 

Fact: My first SD girl still does not have a face up even after 2 years.

 

Fact: I bought my first doll as a fullset because she perfectly represented the character. Now the character has changed so completely that all the fullset items, save for the eyes, are pretty much worthless for her. Oops.

Fact: I panicked about buying my first two dolls, but they're still available from the places I ordered them. Oops again.

 

Fact: I am still waiting for my doll, and have decided on everything except a name...and I'm worried that once he gets here he won't be what I expected at all!

 

Fact 1: My first doll was the first BJD I saw in person.

Fact 2: I planned on having a dark-haired doll family and now most of them are blonds and only one has black hair. XD

 

Fact: I have an obsession with dolls that are part machine and making large epic projects that take me forever to finish
