Fact: I waited 6 years to get my dream doll.

 

Fact: My first doll came in a giant M&Ms box. :3

 

Fact: My first doll was a female, but was close to being a male, instead.

 

Fact: My first doll came in a tiny box with "Hello Kitty" all over it instead of the one everyone else was getting.

 

Fact: I have two dolls named after characters from 'The Big Bang Theory' - Pennie and Sheldon. But they don't really look like them!

 

Fact: I hacked an ebay account to find out I was getting my doll.

 

Fact: I waited for 7 years to find the right doll to represent one of my two girl characters!
Fact: Aria looks a lot like the Dollmore Cold Heartbroken Chami right now and
Fact: She's totally in love with a pillow I got as my free gift! She fights me for it when I have to take it to put on her clothes.
Fact: Since Aria came home, she's been kicky but it suits her oddly enough even though she got restrung two months ago.
Fact: Aria likes her hair up in a messy bun.
Fact: Both of my resin kids hijacked my favorite pillow as their hangout couch.
Fact: Mase is second hand but still brand new from Iple and will be my only doll that ever came home straight from a meetup in a carrier bag.
Fact: Before I decided to change my girl's name for the final time, I was watching Pretty Little Liars when someone said "Aria". Her head snapped to turn and look at the screen as if responding to someone calling her. The name stuck since last month. She found her name (finally).

 

Fact: Emma's shy; probably because I haven't taken her out yet.

 

I named the first doll I got after the first mold I loved.

 

Fact: My boy poses better only in boxers then in actual clothing.

 

Fact: Letty carries around a itty-bitty Vegita doll with her much of the time. I'm not sure where it came from, but it's her's now.

 

Fact: Kaesu arrived with the latch on his headcap broken off. The superglue repair I did has been holding up for over 3 years now.

 

FACT: My girl is named after Hannibal Lecter from Silence of the Lambs, since my partner thought she looked like him during her box opening.

 

FACT: My Doll in Mind Bellosse has the feet of a Super Gem!

The resin match is terrible, but who cares when they're covered by boots?

 

Fact: Alicia has only taken one major spill--RIGHT onto her face! XD Amazingly, she wasn't damaged at all.

 

Fact: My first doll was originally refereed as a T-100 with her pink eyes in.

 

Fact: My new dolls are stuck in customs since 18-10.

 

Fact: My girl, psyche, likes to be bare feeted all the time. I showed het tons of shoes but she just doesn't like them.

 

Fact: My first boy spent almost two years as a eyeless, wigless head.

 

Fact: My first dream doll is a girl (and I collect mostly boys).
Fact: The first doll I ever bought, and my first resin doll, I had never even seen or heard of. He's now my favorite.
Fact: Almost every character I have ever created has, at one point or time, been given a doll mold if I were to bring that character home. I have over 100 fully-formed characters, with distinct voices and molds.

 

Fact: My three MSD dolls are 43, 42, and 41 cm respectively :3

 

All my dolls are different sizes except two MSDs, and they can't share clothes because one is a slim female and one is buff boy. It's annoying.

 

Fact: My two resin babies have only one outfit each and it bothers me xD

 

Fact: I don't know what size eyes my boy is wearing ^^;

 

Fact: The first 'doll' I bought is the body to my second doll. (So instead of a bodyless head in my room, I have an adorable headless body)

 

Fact: Not only did I get my girl second hand, but most of the stuff she's wearing is second-hand too. She shipped with the wig she's wearing from her previous owner. Her skirt is made from a shirt I got at a thrift store. Her jacket is technically third-hand, as a friend of mine bought the fabric from a thrift store and used it as a tablecloth for a while before I cut it to pieces. Her hairclip is one my mom had for a while. Her "choker" is a mateless earring. Oh, and her underwear is made from one of my dad's old shirts.

So, I guess that leads me to Fact 2: The only thing she's wearing that was completely new when I got it would be her eyes, which I still had to customize to get them presentable as they are Pupapa blanks.

 

Fact: Vince has yet to get his first face-up (we have to do any and all sealant-spraying outside because one of our cats likes to huff things, so no aerosols in the house, but it means I'm really dependent on the weather...)

Fact 1.2: My aunt thinks he should stay that way because not having a face-up makes him look otherworldly.

Fact: Maurice's character (in a novel I was trying to work on) has evolved thanks to the free wig I got. At first I didn't think it suited him, but Vince had a wig and Maurice (the floating head) didn't, and it was *almost* right. But after I got used to seeing his doll head-self in it, I started drawing his novel-self with pink streaks in his hair.

Fact: The tiny doll I'm currently saving for is an adult, but when I open him, Vince is going to think I bought him a little brother.

Fact: I named my first doll after a kitten I had agree to take care of for a few days and end up getting quite attached to it but couldn't keep.

 

Fact: I modeled my first doll after my favorite singer [Asagi - from a Japanese visual kei band named "D"]

 

Fact: when I first found out about BJD's my characters kept yelling at me to make them into dolls... well one down so many more to go!

 

Fact: I got eight dolls in under four months

 

FACT: My doll currently has 10 different outfits (not even mixing pieces)...with a few more that have yet to be to delivered.

 

When I removed the head from my first doll I thought I would never get it back on (old style AOD).

 

That's kind of like me, too! I think it's a first-doll-thing, because...

Fact: when I first decided to have Emma put on the free wig I got from Dollmore, I couldn't get it - or the one she had been wearing - on for half an hour!
Fact: The only shoes I bought Emma, she cannot stand in at all.
Fact: those same shoes are white, but there's a pink stain on one of them

 

Fact: Taki, my 72cm beefcake of a man, was dressed in a tiny black speedo and white bunny ear hairclips and absolutely loved it ._.

 

Fact: my first doll is on her 5th body, I love her head but I still havent found a body I like for her
Fact: of all my dolls she is the only one Ive had ot get a new body for

 

Fact: Me and my MSD girl, Meridyth, have hair parting the same way (pure coincidence). X3
Fact: Right now I think I actually prefer my Puki, Anabel, to remain wigless, with only a ribbon as a hairpiece.

 

Fact: The first thing I made Emma (that could fit her) was a skirt; however, she get's so kicky, and refuses to pose whenever I put her in it.

 

Fact: Each of my four cats acts differently toward Ichabod

 

Fact: My white rabbit is the only doll I have decided to keep who did not have a name before she arrived. All of the other dolls I have that arrived nameless are gone.

 

fact: I have everything at home .. from faceup mats to clothing,wig eyelashes eyes etc...

exept my doll xDD he arrives in 7-10 days

 

Fact: I originally wanted to get a girl as my first BJD and had that in mind for a few years. I ended up getting a boy instead, who unfortunately has to wear lolita girl outfits because I end up buying girl outfits anyway.

 

Fact: My Chapelier has taken 2 face-dives (once off a 4ft concrete ledge onto a gravel-ey concrete floor) and never got so much as a scratch on his faceup, but later ended up braking a pinky while trying to put a shirt on.

 

Fact: I was on my 6th doll before I had ever experienced a fall. The first happened to my 6th doll (was my first SD size) and was from at least a 10 foot drop. Oddly enough he landed on his back, faceup and all digits remained intact, and the only damage was that the jar from the landing knocked off one of his headcap pegs which was an easy fix.

 

I originally wanted to call my doll Kioshi (because it means silent one and I thought that would be the perfect name for a Dollzone Hid 'cause he's suposed to be an assassin). A few days before he arrived I suddenly changed it's name to Hideyoshi. Still don't know why though. It's a composition of perfection and good luck. And lucky I was! He arrived three weeks sooner than expected

 

Fact: my favorite doll only has 1 eye

 

Fact: I have a doll named after a character from a book series I don't even like. I have tried to change his name countless times but just can't because the name seems to suit him somehow. It is the only way I can think of him.

 

Fact: I can't take Dustin's head off by turning the s-hook. It doesn't fit through the hole in his head. I have to pull the elastic up, secure it with foreceps, take the hook off the elastic and slide his head out.

 

Fact: My MSD girl has my full name (well no surname) because every one who knew me and saw her said she remind her of me and I haven't found any other name that fit, so she got my mine. Though I call her RJ, instead of saying the whole name.

 

Fact : On my 8 dolls, 5 got there name inspired by mangas, another by alice in wonderland, one by a video game and the last one because of here funny face x)
Fact : I got 7 dolls in one year (including 5 pullips)

 

Fact: Over half the dolls I (currently) want are SD size, and over 81% of all the dolls I own and want to own are boys.

Fact: I spent way too much moolah nabbing a retail doll on Ebay for a doll who isn't even home yet. By scale she will make a perfect large-size pretend SD for Asura.

Fact: An LE jumped my entire wish list, including my dream doll, who is technically an LE but has been available for ages. Darnit, Asura! Oh well... come home already!

 

Ophelia is just spoiled as hell.

 

Fact: The first doll I got was the first character I made for a storyline with my then boyfriend (now fiance). He is spoiled beyond reason, and though the character concept has changed very slightly over the years, he is still the one I spoil the most. He has also crossed over into another storyline with my friend.

Fact: There are over a hundred active characters in my storyline. (hordes of side ones) I have capped myself at ten dolls. I predict this will not stay true.

Fact: My Fiance bought him for me and one friend who's character is active in his storyline made me a gift for him for my birthday. He is not just spoiled by me

 

My boy is almost always wearing hair accessories. xD

 

Fact: Noire needs new hands due to a painting mishap and my forgetfulness about the need for MSC.
Fact: I was forced to restring because I was trying to fit clothing on Noire and pulled the head s-hook the wrong way.
