Random fact about your doll

Emma has just undergone my first sueding attempt, and so far, it seems to be working out!

 

Fact: The only one of my dolls that is 100% finished is my puki.
Sanyu still needs fist hands and a series of outfits.
Gael still needs me to finish painting the gold shimmer on her body blushing and she also needs a wide series of outfits as well as some very important props.

 

Fact: I had no idea I was going to get Linnett on the day that I did. I went to a small town convention of about 500 attendees and an artist was selling her. (I had loved BJDs for 5 years, and for some reason, buying one seemed so intangible for me.) When this artist pulled her out and said she was selling her, she let me hold her. It was the first time I had ever held a BJD, and it was pure magical lovey-dovey goodness.
Fact: That was the single greatest, best convention and day of my life (so far).

 

Fact: Lakota's nickname was given to him in honor of my puppy Loki who passed away far too young and shares the same type of personality.

 

Fact: my first (and still only) doll came in a really worn box so I was really afraid when I opened it - but the doll was flawless.
2nd fact: I didn't expect my boy to have a bruise in his face because the official photos were so light I didn't see it. Now he looks at me as if I had given the bruise to him...

 

Fact: I have only boy dolls, with no interest in getting any girls even though there are so many that I find beautiful!

Fact: My favorite (I feel a little guilty for admitting I have a favorite... they're all looking at me right now! LOL) is Jayden, my Luts Abadon. Who even though I've only had for about 5 months is based off a character I have had for over a decade so his personality/back story is very fleshed out and he is incredibly spoiled :3

 

These are more random facts about my dolls chracters/personalities, but hereyago anyhooo
Fact: Toy goes nowhere without her "Hiffalemp" (her stuffed elephant).
Fact: Tails lurves Toy so much, but resigns himself to pulling her hair (they are both 5 yrs. old).
Fact: Beijo dances like a maniac to EDM when she thinks noone is watching....someone is always watching.
Fact: Micah really wants a boyfriend. He knows he's too bitchy, but hope springs eternal.
Fact: Satou watches his lovers sleep and secretly prays one of them will invite him to stay in the morning.
Fact: They never do. Satou always wakes up to the cash on the table and a note on the mirror asking him to lock the door behind him on his way out.

 

Fact: I ended up at the doctor after falling asleep on Halo and getting her finger shoved in my eye.

 

Fact: My doll enjoys watching my saltwater tank. (the clownfish are her favorites!)

 

Fact: Reed has a small kitten named Cello who she adores, but they can not ride in the same pocket ( i.e. pants, shirt or purse pocket ) without someone pushing the other out. >.<

 

Fact: my first doll was a girl because I thought my family might think it was weird that I wanted a beautiful male doll. Sounds silly, now that I have four males and three females.

 

Fact: Mokuba is now a discontinued sculpt I kinda wish wasn't so I could replace her in WS...which is what she was suppose to be but apparently I didn't pick it >.< *clearly remembers clicking it*

Fun Fact: Mokuba was born after the zombie apocalypse. Yeah, that's right I said..zombeh apocalypse. ^.^'

 

Fact: Elena will mooch clothing items from anyone. Several things of mine are now hers.

 

Fact: I can't have an odd number of dolls. They always have to have a partner.

Heck if I know why.

 

Fact: Chaeri has more wigs than I have T-shirts. Seriously.

 

Fact: Loretta has laid claims to every toy, doll, figurine, keychain, or poppet in scale to her size that i own.
Fact: Remy was supposed to be a red head but is still a brunette three months later.

 

Fact: It was always my plan to have Sol be a blonde... but apparently she'd rather be a readhead.
Fact: Quinn, my second doll, arrived exactly 6 months too the day after Fenton, my first.

 

Fact: Anju, my dollfie dream, wears MSD shoes. Anju is an SD sized doll.

 

Fact: When my boy Loki came home I noticed he has a birthmark on his bum.

 

fact: my doll when naked will cover her chest every time 0.0

 

Fact: I just spent over $2000 on 4 more dolls....IN ONE MONTH!

 

Fact: I have a doll incoming who has nothing waiting on him here...the only outfit he can wear, another is wearing because it's the only outfit he can wear! Lucas and Rowan have one outfit between them!

 

Fact: Kanau was strung super tight at first, and he used to smack himself in the face alot.

 

Fact: I'm convinced Soom created Sard because they read my mind. Before he was released, I said to myself "I would love to make a Dia boy!" and "If Soom releases a male version of Beryl, I will be screwed!" Little did I know, just a couple weeks after I made these claims, Soom came out with Sard... a male version of Beryl with Dia's head.

 

My first doll was the most expensive. All of my complete dolls were owned in part or whole by other people first. I have just last year signed on to buy original parts in group orders, and this year to buying a doll directly. I found committing to that order was (and is) a completely different kind of nerve-wracking from doing layaway with a private person off the Marketplace.

 

Fact: I perfer boys over girl dolls. My males outnumber the females by like 10 to one.

 

Fact : I realized few days ago that "Amorphous", which is my boy's name, means "shapeless". But I don't care, my boy is always my little amor~

 

Fact: Cae is cross-dressing in Talia's clothes because Talia is not here yet and neither are Cae's clothes. :c
Fact: Three of my dolls need faceups. But I will not give Zan or Cae a faceup until I get better at them.
Fact: I thought Chiru, my first doll, was really small when I first got her (she is a MSD), but she is bigger than all of my other dolls, including my KDF. Now she looks huge.
Fact: Cae has a deformity on one of his fingers. His finger is slightly wider in the middle of the finger and it looks weird.
Fact: The resin on Zan's head cap is thin. I can see one of the magnets right through the other side of the resin and it doesn't line up completely with his head due to the thinness.

 

Fact: My Dolomi head has currently stolen my friend's Yrie's body..... with the human parts but still.....

 

Fact: The first time I strung up Nomine (Soom Amber) with her hooves, the S-hook slipped and sliced my thumb open, requiring an update to the tetanus record plus two stitches. She's still that fiery even with the sweetest expression.

 

Fact: Theodore's right hand is kind of messed up... like someone put on fake nails and tried to rip them off later or something. I have no idea what happened to him as he came to me like that, but I call it the claw hand >>
Fact: The first doll I ever wanted was ResinSoul Long but I still don't even have him on the way!

 

Fact: My Marcus is a cross-dresser.
Fact: his clothes are more expensive than mine.

 

Fact: My doll is perfectly strung except for his 'mind-of-its-own' left arm.

 

Fact: My father went to a physical store and bought me my second doll, so for weeks while waiting for him to return home with her, all I knew was that she was from Dollzone and nothing beyond that! Including size/mold/skintone since he didn't know a thing about dolls XD.

 

Fact: i used an albino eye instead of a blind eye just for fun, and have decided i like him as an albino, and later today am going to put both albino eyes in him ^_^;

 

I'd love it if that happened to me! What store did he get it from, and - more importantly - what doll did you end up getting?

 

Fact: My pukipuki Owen was my second doll but first at heart.
Fact: Owen loves Lay's potato chips
Fact: Owen gets mistaken as a girl all the friggin time and he and i both pout about it.

 

Fact: One of her eye sockets is smaller than the other, but only slightly.

 

Fact: I love my girl so much.

 

I owned four dolls and i sold them all to get the one I have now. I don't regret this decision at all.

 

Fact: My dream doll is currently strung on sewing elastic because he came home from FL strung so tight he could have broken. *stalks Dollmore tracking number for new elastic among other things*

Fact: Same doll is getting a DZ MSD body, got a bit of a wait for that but it is on order ^.^

Fact: The 6/7 that is too tight to properly fit my MNF Luka fits my MNF sleeping elf vampire Chloe head awesomely and is now his official wig, but the 6/7 I originally bought for him (Chloe) is too tight to fit at all. O.o

 

My second doll, Stephen (BBB Apollo) was probably more of a pain to restring than his little sister, Emma (DM Kid Flocke).

Emma now has a case of 1st Dolly Syndrome because she's not the only doll in the house.

Stephen's outfit came together a lot better than any clothing purchases I made for Emma. I guess it's easy when your total ensemble consists of dark colors and black.

The holes in Stephen's hip joints are not symmetrical to each other, but it doesn't interfere with his posing.

 

Fact: It took me three years to find the perfect doll to be my first.

 

Fact: I am planning to make a Cthulhu bjd with one of the floating heads I am getting in the mail.

 

Fact: It took about three years of on and off frustratingly searching for a doll for Koriel. But, in the end the wait was well worth it. ^.^

 

Fact: My friend picked up a doll that needs a LOT of TLC and possible sculpting of some parts. She basically is relying on me to help bring the life back into the poor zombie.

 

Fact: All of my dolls are limiteds. Not because of the "exclusivity", but because most of the molds I happen to like are limiteds.

 

Fact: my cat hisses at my doll Zoya =\


Fact: I keep and extra set of eyes in her head

 

Fact: All of my resin dolls to date have been purchased by MONTHS of saving allowances of $40 or less.

 

Fact: My third doll was just flat-out... given to me. o-o

 

Fact: Fred is mad at me because I haven't taken him out yet, or done anything ith him, except sit him in front of the tv after work. And he hates his hair.

Fact: Kaitlin is now jealous, and I feel guilty for ignoring her.

Fact: I wasn't going to get Fred, but slowly fell in love with the sculpt [Doll Leaves M] after seeing owner pictures, and looking at the company photos, then his character popped into my head.

 

My first doll was my birthday gift.

 

FACT: Of all my dolls, Vince is the "cuddliest" with me*. **

*Even though Maurice has used the very same body. He's just not a cuddler, I guess. We'll see if his tune changes when I buy him a boyfriend...

**But Pete and Billy are cuddly with each other. Pete's gotten very protective and Billy gets clingy.

 

Fact: The same exact wig is kinda too tight on Jian my DoD DoT Homme Ducan, but too loose on my lil' brother's Est the DoD DoT Shall. And it's a DoT wig. Methinks they need to do a boy and girl size instead of finding an unhappy medium in between. O.o;;

Fact: Little lord vampire child Jareth the MNF sleeping elf vampire Chloe head looks positively serene where he has been set... atop a stand made of Legos. XD

 

Fact: I have more pairs of pants than shirts and shoes combined for my three boys.

 

Fact: Emma's character seems more like it's going to be "bleh" personality-wise, because I just don't know for sure anything anymore.

Fact: Except the underwear, Stephen is wearing an pair of pants and a shirt both sewn by me - and one was created by a pattern I drafted. (It doesn't close, though...)

Fact: Stephen's outrageously loose stringing is becoming more and more of an annoyance because I have to have his head constantly in the right position for him to stay seated where he is. Otherwise, he loses his balance and slides onto my PS2; I'm worried he might slide off everything all together.

 

Fact: All of my dolls are characters that I have written or written for.

Fact: Out of all my dolls it would appear my boy, V is the most friendliest out of them all!

 

My Soom Dia used to be WS....then I sold her and got her in NS a year later!

 

I have owned 5 dolls but now own 1 LOL
