Fact: None of my dolls ever wear shoes I can't justify spending money on then when I could buy a cute dress for the same price

 

Fact: Chaste was initially going to be a girl, and as of yet is the only character to change sex after becoming firmly established in my brain.
Fact: Neeko shares his clothes with the clothesless SDs because he's currently the biggest.
Fact: Fox has the best looking feet of all my dolls.
Fact: Tristan's eyes would be brown if he wasn't a sleeping sculpt.
Fact: Gretel was meant to be an elegant lady. That didn't happen.

 

Fact: almost all my dolls come in packs. I may live calmly for half a year and than buy two or more in a couple of monthes. And than again half a year of saving =__="

 

Fact: My grail doll was up for order after 2 months of putting him on my grail list.
Fact: I fell out of love with one of my dolls because I thought I would never receive her from the company.
Fact: None of my current dolls are the main characters. They're all supporting.

Fact: Ælfræd's name is intentionally pretentious (it fits his name)
Fact: Anodýne was the first doll whose default face-up I altered (adding brown eyeshadow over his default blue eyeshadow)
Fact: Seira was the doll who finally claimed my floating Vesuvia scorpion torso
Fact: Vermeil's body replaced Dante's (normally, once I have a body in a skin tone, I only buy extra heads+parts for it, instead of doubling up. Splitting for Vermeil's parts was too tricky)
Fact: Neiþ was my first hybrid doll (Soom Topaz head on Soom Amber body, bought during the first Free Choice Event)
Fact: Ileana was the first doll I modded (sanding the 'nails' off her Hati paws)

Fact: Velia (renamed Nephelin) is the only doll who has fantasy parts I regret splitting off (I snagged her hands and horns, but split off her dragon talons)

 

Fact: I got my girl's head long before her body

Fact: One of my dolls has kips in his knees which raised his knee joint and the tip of the thigh piece actually worn into the lower calf joint groove...thing. So the kip improved posing but damaged his knees...it's still there (the kip I mean). (Because he wears jeans all the time anyway).

 

Fact: Laken, my SA Saint version 1, is very rare. Since I got him in 2008 I have only seen one other SA version 1 about.

 

Fact: my first SD doll got her body more than half a year before i even knew what head she's gonna be.

Fact: my first doll (mean her character) has switched her face between different sculpts twice and her body twice, for total three switches in the way head-whole doll-body, ended up being a hybrid. So there's pretty much only her character what is left of my first doll talking about plastic. And i got really confused trying to count it all right...

Fact: I had a dream once that i was having a nice conversation with an unknown doll, sitting on the lawn, talking about lakes we both owned, comparing their sizes(i lied then, btw, told her mine was larger then it actually was). I found that doll, she was limited and i managed to get her in time. Guess what, she's like 5 yrs old. But i guess in real life she doesn't own any lakes either.

 

Fact: I am the fourth owner of my first doll

 

I have around 30 dolls , but I'm retired and no mortgage to pay , so I am lucky

 

Fact: It's been two years and a half years since I got into bjds, and I finally ordered my first one.

 

The first BJD doll I owned was adopted to a girl on the other coast of Australia and I now have that exact same girl back with me (minus her box, certificate, eyes & wig that she was sent in).

 

My first doll is my shelled out OC that ive had in my head since elementary school.

Her first design had purple side parts of her hair but when i shelled her out into the doll she is now i couldn't bring myself to make her that way XD

 

The first doll I fell for was an SD. I have since sworn to own NO SDs.
My first doll has tan skin

 

Fact: Jarith got his name form my favorite first time vilian crush and is currently dressed like a blue haired version of him.
Fact: Edger is a shapeshifter that specializes in changing his face to look like movie and TV stars.

 

Fact: Syd is from Australia...literally and in character. Hence why I named her Sydney even though I bought her from a lady in Brisbane.
Fact: Most of my dolls are like cartoon characters in that they have a default outfit and rarely if ever change it

 

Fact: Molly was originally going to be called Robin. I still have (very old and badly written!) versions of her story that use this name.
Fact: Imogen's personality (not her appearance) is based on my best friend
Fact: I wanted Fionnuala in light tan, but ended up getting her in original tan because that was what Supia was offering at the time and I didn't want to wait. I don't regret this decision.

 

Fact: I currently have two floating heads, both female.
Fact: I have one floating body, sadly male.

 

Fact: The doll I ordered third was actually the first one to arrive at my house.

Fact: My first doll was a boy, but when I started collecting I only wanted girl dolls

 

Aira Neela literally means "Wind of Blue." I chose that name because she's a Blue Mirodoll Wind. I have other green dolls so that's not a color I've never had, but she's my first blue doll, and she's by far the most unusual doll in my collection. She's such an intense blue and even her face is just very different from the rest of my dolls. It's atypical of the dolls I usually buy, much rounder very smiley. She's a very happy looking doll my Aira Neela. I must admit that I had a bit of a thing for her long before I actually got her. I used to look at Raevyn's pics and want one of my own. I sort of consider it fate that she actually did end up with me. I don't think I've seen another one yet. But Mirodoll Wind just really works in blue I think. She's cute in NS but she's really something special when she's blue.

 

Fact: To get my fisrt doll I made a "bet" with my sis and lost. She spend less on her one month vacation in Barcelona than I on my doll.

 

Fact: just a day or two after obtaining Firiel, his right arm broke at the elbow -.- there was a warning for that specific weakness in his box. It was in japanese
Fact: he's all better now, and the replacement part (from an obitsu female doll) is actually stronger...

 

Fact: My first doll arrived... while I was in Montreal... for a one-month trip.

I didn't get to meet him until I got back. It was such a hard wait.

 

Fact: My Third and Fourth dolls still have the original faceups they came home with in 2006. My First has had three faceups, and my Second has had two.

 

Fact is non of my dolls would sell on the second hand market, because of their flauts/age/yellowing/mods....etc

 

OK this one is embarassing: My doll just took a flight to come here (while I had expected him to literally ship across the sea for ages and ages).

 

Fact: All my male dolls are from DollZone.
Fact: None of them wear boxers, briefs, or underwear in general...GOING COMMANDO BOYS!

 

Fact: the first doll i got wasn't suppose to be the doll that I'll buy... but I kept on having dreams about him that's why i ended up having him. I never regreted it. it's destiny.

another Fact: my doll's name was suppose to be Seth... but I changed it to Noah (on the spot) as soon as I open the box and saw him. Gaaah... perhaps it was again destined that he chose the name. (>__>)

 

Fact: most of my dolls are pre-loved and I wouldn't have it any other way (I'm more attached to them than my dolls that were bought new)

Fact: One of my dolls is named Stapler because of his weird habit of stapling things he owns, but it's not his real name and I'm the only one who knows his real name.

Fact: My doll was mistaken for a real person in a photo I took by my friend who didn't know I owned bjds. She thought I had a hot boyfriend and didn't tell her it was pretty funny and awkward when I explained things....

 

Fact: I currently own two floating heads and two full dolls.

Fact: My SD13 Yoris name is Tira. It's short for Tiramisu.

Fact: I was originally going to go with a dessert theme for my doll names but I have failed miserably. xD

 

Fact: I thought that I will have 2 dolls. Now at me already 6 also I wait for them still.

 

Fact: I orginally named her Ardis after my RP character, but somehow I felt guilty that naming her the same would suggest she was inferior to my RP Character, so I changed the spelling to Ardith.

 

Fact: Violette was named at Anime North after an absolutely lovely discussion with two British Business men over drinks. (Eco packaging guys, they've designed for Lush.)

It was because of a hilarious story about a Bull Mastiff named "Violet".

 

Fact: my Andromeda is called in honor of the spaceship and a galaxy at the same time

 

Fact: Minifee Shushu is one of my favourite sculpts. Now that I have one, I can't think of a name for her. -.-

Fact: I hadn't planned for my Minifee Shushu to have freckles, then I found one for sale with freckles and it was too adorable to resist.
Now they're one of the things I love about her. >.<

Fact: My Minifees are all going to be themed around certain colours!
