@poochiness yass caught one to get into RaMcube I don’t think they’re very well known, I only heard through friends and happen to live local to @RenegadeStarSign so Ive gotten to see at least one in person. Boys don’t usually catch my attention so I’ve been a sideline admirer til DM.Camill!

I'm excited to see how everyone styles Camill. I'm pretty sure he'll be regret for me later, I'm always so weak against the cat styled boys.

 

@MacaronTea thank you! I plan to use a Peak’s Woods body for him, which I do have on order, but is still months away from arriving. That body is for my floating PW head, but if the hybrid works out I’ll be looking into buying a second so they don’t have to share. Hopefully it does work because RaMcube’s Body is too muscular for Camill’s soft face imo!

 

Got a good photo for sharing! He arrived three days ago while not at all a resin match (just body sharing) the HD60 body makes for very cute proportions. If the Peak’s Woods body does not work I think I might get a Rosy White HD60 body for him. However the neck fit is not very good so if I go this route I may have to fill in the neck socket with hot glue, it’s so deep!!

 

Ugh I really regret that I didn't end up ordering him.

My Camill in cream white has arrived! As far as resin matches go, souldoll white is good, but unfortunately the proportions wouldn't be that great of a match I believe (only have an msd, so I can't say for sure). New paper-white type resins won't be a good match, but I think an older one that has yellowed due to age would go well with it. It's a lovely color tho, I'm excited to begin putting this character together!

 

I have ordered a DF-H body colour matched to Ramcube peach white for my DM.Camill. I'm crossing my fingers that it fits him because jointed hands are nice.

 

i plan to buy ramcube body for peach yellow distantmemory (he matches fine with loongsoul normal yellow) but im not sure about the color. Could anyone share some pics of pastel peach or peach white ramcube? thanks!

I've seriously fell in love with Ramcube Diz but there doesnt seem to be many owner photos?

I'm hoping they re release him, I've submitted a request on their website using the re release request form

 

And then I ended up ordering two Ramcube No.001 anime style heads… orz

I couldn’t decide with faceup I liked better or which skin colour to get so… I got them in pastel peach (with faceup B) and peach white (with faceup A). Basically the same combinations as in the promo pics.

I have a Ramcube DM Camill in peach white and his resin matches a Switch head I have in rosy white. And I’ve heard that Ramcube’s pastel peach matches Switch’s powder beige, so might get them Switch bodies later or something similar.

 

I snagged a No.001 in I think pastel peach with the style A face up. I am excited, his little face is just so peacefully cheerful.

 

Can anyone help with body recommendations that match pastel peach other than switch bodies?

I just got a second hand Ramcube Gaz head

 

Hello I wonder if any owns a Felix head could check the length of the head? I want to hybrid with a girl body but I’m not sure about the neck size and shoulder width, because No.6 body on Ramcube website shows the shoulder is 16cm which is too big for any girl body.

Really want to get the new release Felix in gray skin this time.

 

Popped in to wonder if anyone was interested in snagging Felix? He's so pretty. I don't know anything about Ramcube, but this purple unicorn stole my heart. Finding user pictures of Felix is really impossible. I have found... 1 .-.

Does anyone own any of the other releases? He's so cute.

(I also noticed this thread isn't being bumped to the top of even first page of discussions? Weird. I was like, I know someone has to be talking about Felix xD)

 

@Littlebirdzoom I’m in the same situation. I thought Felix is supposed to be more popular. I only found 1 photo of him in white skin from a makeup artist on instagram. I skipped him last time because I only collect girls, but this new gray violet skin makes me want to create a new project for him (to find a girl body)

 

Other releases of Felix or Ramcube in general? I have a D.M. Camill on a Ramcube No.6 body if that's any help.

 

Of Felix It looks like his other releases were one offs? So maybe that's why I don't see anything. I'm new to the company so I could be totally wrong xD

I wonder how hard it'd be to dye or color match a body. Do you have a plan for a hybrid?

 

@Littlebirdzoom I probably will wait for few months until DF-H gets the swatch for this gray skin and order the big girl body 65cm from them. But right now I don’t have enough space so the head will be in storage until I get the chance to get the body so I’m sure I can order from DF-H when the time comes.

It’s weird to me Felix is not popular since he’s been released few times till now.

I asked Ramcube about the head height and it seems to be similar to my Little Monica Giselle head. She’s on a 60-62 girl body. The head hole is around 10cm so hopefully will look ok with the neck of 9.3cm. The artist said it may be possible for the fit. The instagram photo shows the head is quite short on the front so I think it will work.

Dying may be hard because this gray has violet hint in it, also dying a whole body for a consistent colour takes a lot of work, not to mention finding a suitable body. If you want a male body Ramcube has no.6 body in same gray to order this time. I think they offer layaway too but this is also my 1st time ordering with this company so idk much.

A lot of their sculpts would be wonderful on female dolls, but their neck hole is way too big for any of the bodies I like. I really hope it works for you.

 

@lytits did you try their head on female bodies before? May I ask which bodies you like so I can see if they are similar to the body I have in mind?

I just hope Felix head is like Switch head that can go with either male or female body despite the head hole

Right now I'm stuck at the "planning like crazy" phase because I'm waiting for my first doll to arrive, so all my hopes are mainly in my thoughts. The doll I'm waiting for is a Dream Valley Qing on a B56-01 body (Doll Parts, Dream Valley - BJD, BJD Doll, Ball Jointed Dolls - Alice's Collections).
It's very slender (which I like) while retaining a great deal of femininity (a bit like the Doll Chateau Y-body-06 but less extreme, in my opinion). The neck circumference clocks at 8.3 so is a bit on the slim side, and the shoulder's width is 10cm.
I'd like very much to find a smaller head for her, but the majority of headsculpts I like are male, and that's a real problem. Then I started looking at MSD heads and maybe I found a really good candidate in Iplehouse JID line (don't know yet if the resins are a good match, though).

 

Just want to ask around if anyone placed the order for Felix? I asked DF-H and they don’t have any similar colour, and they aren’t sure they will have one in the future so now I’m reluctant to get the head

but DFH does resin matching so it wouldn’t actually matter if they had it in their existing colors, because you can just get them to match it for you anyway

 

@americanseamstress I asked them directly if they could do matching if I send them the head cap and they said they don’t have similar colour.

that’s very strange because I’ve definitely seen them match stranger colors from Chinese collectors and even people here on DoA (ebony, sapphire blue, etc). I just ordered a DFH doll on their Taobao yesterday and they still list “custom color matching” as an option. It makes me wonder if it’s a language barrier issue

 

@americanseamstress that’s really weird because I send photo of ramcube arctic skin and they said they can’t match the colour, then I asked if they can match light purple from DF-A because it’s the closet colour I could find and they also said no.

Then I asked a dealer on taobao for DF-H if they can match any colour because they have a table of all colour DF-H can match currently, and this is their answer “It means that you can place an order with the official color, and it is impossible to match any color.”

They still list custom colour but as I understand not any colour. This is exactly what they said to me 单体不接调色哦

The translation is “The monomer does not pick up the color adjustment”

 

That does say 'don't accept colour matching for the body' (or it could also mean 'single body' or 'just the body'??). Maybe they've decided to stop their colour matching service? Or won't do it for just one body?

 

@namika maybe they stop doing colour matching. They still do for Little Monica tan skin because I asked if they have soft choco for LM and they said they do. So it depends on the colour I think.

I’ll wait for DF-A to reply because they have very light purple skin last year that is pretty close to arctic skin.

 

Took some photos of my D.M. Camill on a Sadol 60 girl body which has a shoulder width of 12.5 cm. (Sadol's site says 13 cm but I measured mine and it's 12.5 cm.)

Camill is peach white while I think the Sadol body is white? Can't remember. I bought the body a few years ago. The resin colour looks like a close match in the photos but it doesn't match in person. Ramcube peach white has a pink undertone. However, my Sadol body seems to have yellowed quite a bit even though I've kept it in the carrying case it came with.... so perhaps a brand new body might match better?? However, I think this hybrid looks very bobble-headed...

In other news, just received a notification from Ramcube that the No.001 heads I ordered are 'preparing for shipment'! I wonder how long they will take to actually ship. I ordered on 10 Oct and it said they would ship in 2 months on their page for No.001.

The last time I ordered from them was in 2018 from their old site and it didn't send me any 'preparing for shipment' notification, only an email after they have shipped. But I remember that they shipped within their promised shipping time.

 

I got a preparing for shipment notification this morning too! I ended up ordering the last day of the order period and with a face up to boot.

 

And they have just shipped! I ordered mine with faceup as well.

 

Mine was shipped about then as well. Now to start just the waiting game for it to get to Ohio for me. XD

I haven't decided what body to put them on yet or what characters I'll use them for actually. It was more of a 'buy now, figure it out later' situation for me since anime-style boys are so hard to find and No.001 is so cute~!!

Though I'm kind of leaning towards a Switch body since I know the resin matches: Ramcube's peach white matches Switch's rosy white perfectly while Ramcube's pastel peach very very closely matches Switch's normal/powder beige. (Switch renamed their 'normal' skin 'powder beige' a while back.) There's a very slight difference that's barely perceptible. I have all of these, so can confirm.

Switch's normal/powder beige skin is supposed to match Volks' normal skin, I think? At least it used to. So in theory, Ramcube's pastel peach should be similar to Volks' normal skin, and there are quite a lot of bodies out there that match Volks. Not sure what else matches Ramcube's peach white/Switch's rosy white.

I'm planning to get a Switch 65 boy body for one of the floating Switch heads I have anyway, so I'll see how No.001 looks like on that before deciding.

He arrived today! I set his head on a Volks body I have, just for kicks and giggles, and popped some eyes in. He’s just darling, even if his head shape is a little odd in person. @namika , I am going to look into those Switch bodies, thank you! I think my body is going to end up as ‘Siri’. ….like the Apple-Siri. -_-;

Hi! Sorry I don’t have arctic resin to share, but did just wanted to revive the thread a little and to introduce my new boy I had my eye on him for quite a while but his release had been quite a while ago. Put in a request for rerelease and Ramcube was really kind to accommodate!!

Luts is a good match for Ramcube pastel peach. This is my boy Ramcube Diz from 2022 re release on a 2020 luts body

 

Does anyone have a ramcube and a switch head they can smush side by side for a size comparison? I’m trying to figure out if they’re comparable and/or if the ramcube would work on a 62cm body. I’m not picky about the sculpt, as long as it’s a realistic one, just to get a general idea

 

I don’t have switch heads for the comparison, but I can vouch for Ramcube heads looking fine on Myou 62cm bodies, realistic proportion without bobbleheaded-ness.
