grrr...extension please...sigh...just got working on his mask late last night and won't have time to work on it until Monday. I thought this time for sure I was going to get done early. silly human life..lol

Please put me on the extension list. I've had the worst month in my entire life and I want it to end

 

I've made so much progress, I'm excited!! I should be able to finish it up and hopefully(!!) take pictures tomorrow

 

I sure hope it does as well. Well good thing is that the only way is up.

 

Just popping in here as an innocent bystander to ask if people are aware that Den of Angels will be down from November 1st to the 7th for major maintenance, as reported by armeleia here: http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?542238-Scheduled-Downtime-11-1-12-11-7-12&p=9512087 Wondering what that means for those with extensions. Perhaps elfmoon can clarify that for everyone.

Well I wasn't aware of it but I wouldn't mind if the extensions were until DOA was back online. I don't know about anyone else, but right now I'm waiting to be engulfed in a raging hurricane/nor'easter. It seems that New Jersey, most any part of it, is the bulls-eye for this one. So if you need a vote, that's mine. I will not have internet if our power goes out (pretty much a 50/50 chance according to our power company).

 

I definitely vote for extension until DOA is back on line

 

Well there you go. A mega extension. I said the only way is up and I was right.

Whew... I was concerned about the deadline because we are also in the storm's path. Last hurricane (Irene, I think) we were without power for 5 days.

There are all kinds of photos of New York area, I'm hearing some are photoshopped, so I am not sure how bad is it, but, keep safe if you are in the Hurricane area!!

Hi, I need to withdraw from the challenge I am so upset, but I've had some issues with the props I was making and with the doll itself. My huge EID is just not co-operating and I am so frustrated with him. It is sooo much easier for me to sew for tiny dolls By the way, I am loving the submissions so far!! My entry photos are up! Whew! Finishing at the last minute as usual (never do today what you can put off until tomorrow), and my photos suck, also as usual, but I really enjoyed this challenge!

Your photos suck? Try just running out the front yard and fending off curious goats because you don't have time for anything else. I did threaten to put one on a spit though - she must have gotten the message as she didn't come any closer

 

Great entries everyone. Such amazing details and interpretations. I usually have trouble coming up with just one idea, then I see the other entries and think "wow, I never would have thought of that but it is so cool".

Thank you to the judges and kudos to all who entered. It was a fun contest. Yes LadyFeather, Mookie was getting squirmy in the costume after a while. Even though the head pieces were molded to his head for a custom fit, they needed glue dots to help keep them on during positioning so not only was his head claustrophobic, it was also kinda sticky.

Congrats to the winners! I'm so sorry I never got to post my finished work, my internet has been down for the past 2 1/2 weeks and just came back up today. It was really nice to see what everyone else came up with today. I'll probably post my finished work in the gallery just so people can see what I came up with. Congrats to the winners again!
