Project runway 'the rock and roll fantasy' challenge ~ game 11 - WINNERS POSTED

I'm not all that close to being done yet, but I'm certainly well on my way. Pants=done, coat=done...now onto the hat. I made sure I blocked this final week in my overly busy April schedule to concentrate on this project.

 

I might need to take advantage of the extension. I tore my knee yesterday and not sure how it will affect my sewing time yet.

 

I already know I will need the extension as well. @.@ April has been crazy busy here too. Work, baby shower gift making, finishing class, preparing for VBS, and working on a mural. And to boot, the first mock up of my wolf's head jacket fell apart, so I am having to completely re-work that design, and I haven't been able to find my small stripped knit material either, so that too is being re-worked.

 

All finished, just need to take some good pictures.

Well hubby has finally gone - oh look I have a couple of days left to do her outfit. Better put me on the extension list as I haven't even been able to start yet. Looking pretty grim for me to finish in time. Better go and start then, hey?

 

Hate to do it once again but I'll need on the extension list as well just in case. Have a wedding this weekend to attend to that is going to take up my free time.

Mine is done! Now it's just putting together a prop and taking photos this weekend. And I would personally like to thank Steven Tyler of Aerosmith for wearing that perfect hat I copied in the 1 second long opening clip of American Idol last week.

I'm a little backed up here too, so i will ask for an extension too, just to be safe.

 

Please add me to the extension list. Here's hoping my plan B ideas will be more do-able than some of the Plan A ideas.

I've finally finished! My photos are posted. This was a wildly fun challenge...thanks so much for giving us the chance to do this. I had a blast!

 

Congrats to all who've finished! Unfortunately, I won't be among you It's too difficult to sew the over dress fabric on my industrial machine, slides way too much under the foot. I am finishing my project though, sewing more slowly by hand and will post progress on my blog and in the sewing thread.

 

I am sorry, as much as I would have loved to finish, I am just busy with life right now... I really hope I can join the next go round when I have more time and my sewing stuff is back in a more convenient location in my house!! So sorry once again, it would have been SEW fun to complete..

Got my doll all dyed at least...lol...now off to work on the costume....hoping I can find that animal print fabric amongst all the piles and totes of random materials..lol

great designs so far...got a little ways on my outfit last night...hoping to finish up tonight and then blush up my doll..drat forgot about accessories, might have to ditch out because I am clueless as to what accessories I could make to go with the theme of my character. Do wigs count?

I hope I'm not one of those designers! (I asked for an extension, so I shouldn't be) But I'm going to have to withdraw. Sorry it's so late in the game, I thought my schedule would clear up enough in time for me to get sewing, but it hasn't. I'm sorry! I really wanted to do this. I think I am going to have to officially withdraw from the competition. My own medical issues and family issues have thwarted all my attempts to finish on time.

I still plan to make the outfit and I was wondering if it would be ok if I still post the pics later.

 

Just to be clear, what is the deadline for those of us with extensions?

I have about 40 photos give or take a few I need to sort through, resize, and crop. Photos will be up shortly.

 

Pictures up! Hopefully I put all the info right. My typing, grammer, and spelling are terribly off today. :/

 

Are stockings or gloves considered an accessory? or just part of the costume I don't think I have enough time to whip something else up besides the wig I made.
