My kitty has been unwell and requiring a lot of my attention lately. Please give me an extension also. I'm only about half finished u_u.

I managed to finish my outfit up today and I won't need an extension after all . Will we be posting a new reply for the entry pictures or will they be edited into where our entry forms are? It's been a solid year (or two) since I've been able to participate and I don't remember what to do xD.

I am almost finished myself! Just waiting for this crazy March wind to die down so I can get my girl outside for some photographs. We woke up to some snow this morning so I think I am going to wait until Saturday for that lol.

some time ago I started sewing costumes for my bjd musical group.The first outfit was sewn for group leader, it was made in visual key style:

Then there was a break from work. And when I saw the contest, that I wants to take part very much. Had the idea to make a suit for the soloist, in the same style, but characteristic for Soujiro (my model)
I want to say a big thank you to the organizers of the competition for the stimulus and for everything else, and also thanks to the participants for their creativity!

I have a little extra... because I remiss in posting earlier :P So for your viewing pleasure... my materials and patterns:


I made the patterns from some cheap wax paper we had lying around... and IT-IS-AWESOME!!! Semi-transparent and so much better than paper tower, I would highly suggest it if anyone makes their own patterns ^^

 

I know right! I love that it's so easy to make your line and small creases and it's clear enough to see the underlying joints, which made adjusting the pattern for movement so much easier :P

April was thrilled to 'strut' her stuff....lol I enjoyed this project and can't wait to see what's coming up Vindalootoo are you planning on joining in on the new challenge?? I just wish there was more interaction for the challenges, I think it would give more of a energy flow!

 

I REALLY want to. I got a new addiction for XMas that had to be indulged for awhile...GuildWars2. We've got a group that "meets" on free long distance every night and takes on the evils of Krytan as a group each night. I'm trying to balance that social outlet with all the other necessaries...like writing, taxes and garden...and of course, Wiishu. He really is my sewing inspiration, tho Pook inspires some cute quickies. But Wiishu's got his first official Doll of Honor gig at SpoCon this year and I've got to get him (a) his actual scale Dr Who scarf finished (b) his Naruto outfit (and Pook wants a Pervy Sage outfit) and (c) a tux. If I can manage to turn a challenge into one of those, for SURE I'll be in. I LOVE the ideas the judges are coming up with. And even if I don't take part, I'll try and be more of a presence. I adore this challenge/thread.

I wonder how much of the lack of interaction is a human tendency to want to "spring" their treasure on the world. I don't even think it's a conscious tactic, but I think creative synergy w/b a great addition, not to mention helping people like me not to procrastinate!
