Problems with Laidoll (Round Two)

    1. As I am another newbie to the BJD world. I had no Idea about all the problems with Latidoll until after I ordered their new elf doll yesterday. I didn't get confirmation or a tracking number. When I tried to log back in to the website, it said couldn't find info. I tried the email address that was listed at the bottom of the page and that doesn't work. You can imagine my horror after sending my purchase through my credit card company. I even called my credit card company to try to stop the transaction, but they couldn't do anything until it actually posts on my bill. That was a lesson learned the hard way. I will always check this forum before another doll purchase again. I just hope things work out, although after reading all your problems, I'm very nervous about the whole thing.

    3. QFE. Easy to confuse the two, but Latidoll is an -entirely- different company. You can breathe a lot easier, trust me. ^_^
       
    4. Latidoll is the company that I am talking about with all the problems that I have had recently. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I just did a quick runthrough of this forum and I didn't see any threads on current issues with Latidoll; maybe post a new thread detailing your problems and see if someone has an answer for you? Additionally -- do they have a Q&A board on their website? If they do you may want to try that, it seems to be a much faster way of getting a hold of a lot of doll companies. :)
       
    6. Hmm, I ordered my doll from Laidoll last December and received it 86 days from my order. I hadn't ordered a faceup, but received one anyway and had to go through great lengths to remove it. One of the eyes I received was broken, but I didn't complain because it was a freebie. Yet needless to say I was not pleased.

      But... After being ignored in much the same way as most of you people here, when I finally managed to get in tough with Change (PMs here, and later via MSN), she was very nice and polite. I've heard an awful lot of reasons (excuses? Very likely.) for the delays and lack of communication. When I talked to Change, she said she's only working there part-time and has been very busy with her studies. While I think it is poor conduct to give so much responsibility to an individual who for one reason or another can't handle it, I do feel sort of sorry for Change and Laidoll. I'm not sure what their deal is, but it seems a bit like they just don't know how they're supposed to be doing things and handling customer relations. Because she seemed like such a normal and kind person (not the kind that would be screwing people over -though I did get the feel that she really disliked having to reply to mails etc :horror: possibly due to poor English skills), I am hoping that all of you, who are still waiting, will receive your dolls eventually. Many people I know, me included, have received their dolls, though they were very late, so that may give you some hope.

      My advice is to keep on trying to get in touch with them and complain as much as you can until you receive your dolls. And I hope that people will stop ordering since this still persists. These people must learn the consequences of treating their customers like dirt.

      I am keeping my fingers crossed for you guys, hoping that your dolls arrive soon! :vein
