problem with B&G (Boy & Girl)... [RESOLVED]

      ITS NOT THE FACT THEY MARKED DOWN THE PACKAGE, IT'S HOW THEY HANDLED THE LOSS OF IT.





      .. I don't know how much more simply it can be put. Stop saying "don't be mad at B&G for the lost package." It's how they TREATED dollmage and how they handle their customer service. godddd.

    5. What Kendra said. One of the things that erks me is what Layla-Mi said in her post. I assume Layla-Mi read through a great deal of the posts here and acknowledges the comments offering some support to B&G, but so conveniently ignores Doll-Mage's posts about her efforts in finding out what happened to the package. Instead, she questions if there were any attempts on Doll-Mage's part to contact or go the post office. I'm starting to wonder if Layla and B&G are using the bit about language barrier and (somehow pretending) not knowing some of the basics of the postal system to fein ignorance. If that is so, it is disgusting.

      I didn't know of B&G's existence until this thread and now know to steer clear of them. (I've been hibernating from this hobby for almost a year.) A friend of mine had directed me to a thread on this forum almost 2 years ago. It was called "Call from Government of Canada" or something along those lines. Don't want to know what B&G would do if that were to happen, don't want to find out.
       
    6. DollMage, did you ever get any more info from the post office or from B&G? I know the post office gave you some info but not if anything came of it.. (I'm sorry, I'm just really hoping for a resolution for you <3 )
      You really have my best wishes DollMage and I'm sure a lot of others as well.

      Oh, the Post Office gave me all sorts of interesting information about the package... because a case file was opened for the package, I (as the reciever) was finally allowed access to all information about it. But, I still can't do anything from my end, unfortunately. ^^;;
      I'm still waiting to hear in a concrete statement if/when a replacement order is due to ship.
       
    8. Ugh... I hope for your sake they do it soon.

      B&G isn't really "saving face" all that well by making you wait longer before they even START making the bloody replacements (IF they do...).

    31. Great, it's so good to know they finally made it home safely. This has been a very long wait for you, I'm glad you finally saw a resolution to this situation.

    32. When I've ordered direct from companies before (Volks, Fairyland) none of them marked packages down and I didn't expect them to. If I was ordering with another company I would expect them to insure for the full whack unless I specifically asked them to mark the package down. If the company do this based on their own judgement, without my knowledge or co-operation, they are 100% responsible for what happens to that package and replacements/refunds if something goes wrong.

      Doll-Mage, I'm so glad things worked out for you! It's a shame they didn't decide to help you months ago!
       
    33. i always ask the company to mark down my items....so that i pay no/less tax.
      it is a risk that im willing to take.Lucky Singapore (the place i stayed) post are quite efficient and safe... its a small island afterall.(done nearly 300+ transactions with overseas purchases over past 8 years.)
      besides... i always paid by CC or deal with local dealers...anything goes wrong,a CC reversal can be done easily (for a premium CC bank customer.) or i can always get hold of the dealers who had my deposit. :)
       
    34. it must be the bad "PR" that they recieve here at DOA,that they consider to solve
      this issue favoring their "customer" to have the case close...well its better late than never....
      customer service is a learning experience for some companies.
       
    35. The 22nd of January? EMS? Don't you think it should have been there by now? EMS anything to me take 5 days or less. I'm in WA state.
