Wow! I´ve just made some sort of "evolution" pics to my Eithelnen, as last Thursday´s been a year since she arrived.

I can´t believe how much she´s changed since then. I think my photo skills have improved too, at least a little bit

Here´s her very first pic. She wasn´t even fully assembled, had a very old face up (I got her head second-handed) and wig.



With her wonderful new face up by Sakuli on Dec 2007.



And her most recent change: Her wonderful Caribbean eyes from Masterpiece. This pic was taken on her anniversary day (last Thursday, as I said )

 

I guess my doll Lake has been through the biggest changes.

I have four kids who had major change. Probably the most extreme was Tatsuya, a DZ Mo:

The right faceup and even some tattoos and piercings can totally change a doll's look.

 

My Minifee Miyu made a MASSIVE transformation. Even her entire character and name changed!

It's completely amazing how versatile these dolls really are! Lee has become one of my favorite dolls. I simply can't resist her soft, charming smile.

Re-did his faceup and changing his character (temporarily 8D ) to Veda. Will change back to his old self when I feel like it.

 

It isn't too extreme, but my el changed characters and his hair and face changed with it.

My first doll, an SDF Ethan who I had trouble bonding with. Though he is no longer here, he inspired the whole universe that all of my other dolls will be living in. He remained without a name most of the time that I had him, but he finally achieved an identity and name with his completion and final face up.

My little Peaquod went through many stages:

I changed my dollzone cherry a lot.
First she was Yelena, but the mold didn't seem to fit Yelena.
So I re-did everything: face-up, eyes, hair, clothes and now she is turned into Sereshka (new character).

Earliest: December '07. I'd only had Alice for about 3 months (that's her default pink faceup, including pink eyebrows...kinda odd, but it worked with that dress XD), and Sho for not even one month (he was wigless for probably the first two months ).



In-Between: This is my first faceup attempt on Alice, circa late spring '08. She only stayed this way for about a week, till I realized I preferred her eye makeup a bit more...existant (plus I'd forgotten about the eyelashes and lip gloss XD). She also has her second "default" outfit on here.



Current: Today, Alice's faceup is complete (plus her eyes have changed from defaults to DoI blue acrylics), and she's all decked out in a new outfit I put together for her "One Year Home" celebration.



And Sho's original factory faceup and eyes (and original wig, once he got one) remain intact. Perfect from day one, the only thing that ever changes about him is his clothes! lol

She's got light staining from some black acrylic paint that I couldn't totally remove, as she wasn't sealed when sis started practicing face-ups. In addition to repainting, I also added upper lashes and wired her.
