    14. That's a cute kitty, @Madhattermiss :) Congratulations!

One day most of my hockey team didn't show up. We only had enough people to fill the regular positions once over, no line changes. We even had to borrow a couple goalies. It was a double header, and while it wasn't easy, I can say I soldiered through two hockey games back to back without line changes :sweat

I can write forwards, backwards and upside down with either hand or any combination of the above with both hands at the same time, for example my right hand going forwards and my left backwards. I can also write a different sentence with each hand at the same time. It's apparently a brain defect, albeit an amusing one!

    30. I'm very awkward and anxious when I'm out in public so I almost never talk. If I do talk I just say the bare minimum, things like "Yes" and "No" I'm often with my friend who normally has me covered but sometimes I end up talking a bit more than I intended. This is because whenever I'm anxious, I get extremely honest and once I start talking I accidentally say whatever is on my mind.
A fantastic example is when I was with the friend I mentioned before at a restaurant. Now the food on the menu had little descriptions and it all sounded good but I couldn't pronounce the names of anything on the entire menu. My friend, being the hero they are, ordered first so that I could order second by just asking for the same thing. Sounds simple right? It all started off according to plan. The lady came to take our orders, my anxiety rose, my friend ordered, I asked for the same thing, but then something I hadn't planned on happened. The lady was confused and asked, "What?" This is when my little honesty trait kicked in. I stared at her and without even meaning to I accidentally opened my mouth and said in a fast jumble of words, "I'm so sorry I can't pronounce anything here or on the menu and-" I interrupted my accidental speech with manic laughter and a snort. Gesturing to my friend I continued, "She decided to order first so I could order after her because I'm very anxious and I'm so sorry"
There was a long pause as the lady stared blankly at me. Finally, she asked, "You'd like the same thing as her?" To which I replied with a yes thank you.

    31. @Spuggey That is absolutely incredible! I wouldn't call it a defect...I'd say there is an open pathway in your brain that most people can't access, and it's truly awesome. :thumbup

    37. Since 2010, once a year, for two days, I become a faerie.

One who helps create quests for human children!! It takes a whole year (maybe more) of planning/ preparation with a Faerie Godmother, and Faerie Queen for these two days! Worth it!

Also, my husband is in on the magic. ;)

    38. I desperately want a dog carrier backpack my dogs can ride with me on my bicycle and my Vespa. I also talk to my dogs constantly. But, when I'm outside, I have to say "too bad you don't know what I am saying" out loud, because I think my neighbors think I'm crazy.

    40. Well, now it's a race because my son turned 15 over the weekend and is hoping to get his learner's permit in the next month, and I can't let him get his proper driver's license before me!! XD (But we have a good place to practice driving, and even the in-town driving here is nice and quiet. It's a good place for learning!)

    41. I'm an actual amnesiac! Due to a fight with a really nasty illness I lost a whole ton of my memories. I got the bulk of them back, but there's just about a month of my life that I don't really know anything about. I still have memory issues, but they're notably less severe now. (There was a point I didn't really remember my dolls, that was odd.)

    44. Well I guess a random fact is that a secret pet peeve of mine is how people take toilet paper off the roll lmao. I prefer to rip a clean line while barely touching it so when I see that someone just grabbed with their whole hand it just makes me think,"...heathens" lolol. I don't want to touch toilet paper that others touched!!

    45. I'm somewhat freaked out by dolls, especially those whose eyes follow you around, so I have to be specially careful when ordering my BJDs to pick sculpts that'll not freak me out. It's actually kind of odd that I'm not as scared of them as I thought I would be. I also started with fantasy sculpts since I read a post somewhere that helped alleviate any doll nervousness, but now find I prefer basic human sculpts over fantasy ones.

    46. I'm a classically trained pianist! :blush

    48. Not a day goes by that I don't think about moving off grid and living a completely different life- but I would bring my hubby and my kids with me. :)

      • x 4
    49. I'm "faceblind".
It's called Prosopagnosia, and it doesn't mean I can't see faces. It means my memory for faces is absolutely fouled up beyond all reason. Everyone of a type really does look alike to me. Until I know you better, I may have problems recognizing you without a distinctive feature or helpful hint like your glasses frames or your pink streak of dyed hair.
However, a Note- If you walk up to me and make a hurpy- derp face and gush, "Har har, Do ya remember me?" I will blankly say, "No", and just walk away. If you find out someone has a disability the considerate reaction is not to try to make a bad joke at their expense, please.
It's tough to make friends if you can only occasionally remember which of a roomful of strangers you have actually seen or talked to before.

    50. I love Donald Duck and have a room devoted to all things Donald :)

    51. I'm flat-footed. ((: I didn't even find out until recently when hubby took notice. After that, we went out to look for proper shoe support to help correct my walking style (heel toe instead of shuffling). Amazingly, they really helped! From swelling like balloons after half a day's walk, we were able to enjoy 4 days of sightseeing on foot without my feet giving up on me. Woot.

    52. I am badly tongue-tied and didn't know until I was 24.

    53. I cant eat eggs. And they hide everywhere! ;)

    54. I am immune to brain-freeze.

I used to pretend to get it in school because all the other kids would make such a fuss about it when we got ice cream, but I don't know what it actually feels like. The only thing eating ice cream quickly gets me is fat.

I also met a telepath once but no one believes me. I was friends with one of his relatives and his party trick was to have you close your eyes and think of something, anything, and he'd tell you what you were thinking of. It was creepy.

    55. Everyone has such interesting facts. ^^

As for me, apart from dolls, I'm obsessed with turtles. ^^ Tortoises, sea turtles, river terrapins, any four-legged scaly thing with a shell. You know how people suddenly have cutesy voices and go 'aww' when they see babies? I'm like that with turtles. I own two - a leopard tortoise named Shellock and a malayan box turtle named Aristotle. If I had my way, I would probably open a park full of turtles, but we don't have enough space so I just make do with two. :)

    60. My eyes changed color when I hit puberty and I hated it, they were a gorgeous bright blue and they morphed to a greenish blue. Now they're more grey and I'm mostly at peace about it.
