These are such wonderful prizes. Now to start planning my entry. I'm not very good at drawing but I can't resist giving this a try.

I also have a Popovy doll, but she has painted eyes -so can not post photos of my Blue Jay... But I sure can agree totally, that this body is perfect poser!! Indeed so delicate, but also sturdy. The sisters have done so amazing work with the body. And those tattoos are awesome!

 

It is such a shame that the painted eyed dolls can not be shared here.

Popovy dolls are amazing!...I love them all, and my wish is to get one for 2015!...I've already choose the mold and faceup (I'd like a wig too, but I think I won't have enough money :-(

Lurking since a whil this great thread hoping to be able to share some good shot of my popovy girl shortly, still working on her wigs, she's such spoiled and she already tow!

Sadly FR16 outfit running too large for Popovy they are very thiny...

 

Many thanks $avage It's gonna be hard to find matching clothes I think... Maybe JamieShow dolls, I think their waist is narrower than FR16', but maybe I'm wrong?..

 

I am also wondering the same things. Also, Jamieshow shoes? far reach, I know, but might it be a possibility?

 

I have just one pair of JamieShow shoes the piano shoes and doesn't fit to standard feet-non ballet feet- as for clothes Popovy Dolls are very very thiny despite height is basically the same in comparison to FR16 or JamieShow Popovy dolls are very very thiny

One of these days, when I sell off another doll, I will get a Little Owl. In the meantime, I'll just stare at y'alls lovely girls!

 

I wish to congratulate all the winners of the Popovy doll illustration contest. The illustrations are really magnificent and so many capture the spirit of the Popovy magic. These doll are so special and unique, and I feel so lucky to have my Cuckoo.

My Father passed this past year and there was a little money, so before it all went to bills, I bought this special girl as a gift from him. He always knew of my love for dolls and this would have made him happy.

Estella, I have just wired money for my Little Owl as well. I didn't ask Igor how long the wait might be. Did he say? This doll must have been very popular if they have ordered more from the factory, don't you think? It makes me very happy for the Sisters, if it was necessary to place another order. I just love that little face.

There was a space on the waiting list, so I was able to get a slot. I ordered a little Owl with Ballet feet. I just wired the money today. I'm so excited!

 

Going to be nervous until Igor gets my money!

 

It is a little nerve wracking scurvygrrl, but usually goes quite well without delay. Once you get confirmation from Igor then the real waiting begins! How exciting for you.

 

I'm head-over-heels for these dolls they are magnificent! In a perfect world I would get a Cuckoo and Little Owl I'm in love with these sculpts! I love seeing everyone's pictures of their dolls and I hope to see more this year

 

I was really hoping the dolls would be received from the factory by now. Am waiting for a Little Owl, and a body for my Bony head. Was totally hoping for end of January... I normally don't mind waiting, but have an artists who has agreed to do some things for my girls and am afraid she will get tired of waiting. I think I am spoiled since I had my first doll within 2 weeks of sending my money to Igor. )

 

*de-lurking* I've been watching this thread for quite a while and hoping I'd be able to order such a beauty myself one day. Now I've paid mid-December and am anxiously waiting for the dolls to arrive from the factory. It's so exciting!

Heheh, thank you, theresa! Your Lihle is so delicate, and you have beautiful outfits and wigs for her! I've been admiring your girl since I first saw her here.

 

Jillamyre, there's a delay at the factory and the dolls are stuck at the factory, they might arrive at Sister's place in few days, then it will takes about 10 days more if you have ordered faceup.

 

My bank managed to mess up the transfer, but Igor has been very helpful. Hopefully it gets straightened out soon.

Igor is AMAZING, my bank's wire transfer department? NOT SO MUCH.

 

Just lurking, but these sculpts are BEAUTIFUL!! All of your girls are!

 

I am sooo excited, Igor has just sent me a tracking number! I hope it will all work well! Lately our customs people have decided to sit on parcels for at least four weeks before deciding what to do with them, so it will probably still be a long wait, but she's coming closer!
It seems things are moving now, I bet more shipping notices will pop up here and hopefully lots of photos of new beauties! *crossing fingers for everybody waiting*

Well, I've succumbed. I was lucky enough to get a spot very quickly so I'm in the process of ordering my girl! I just need to decide who is the first...Little Owl orCuckoo? And which feet?

Now to figure out clothing and wigs. Any advice?

 

OH Sylvin congratulations!!! I do want to get one of these girls someday! But the bank transfer thing is holding me back...

As for clothes check out etsy...there are a couple people making some nice things for them there.

I forget what size wig they take.

Thanks, luluna! I just got lucky to get a bonus at work and a slot at the same time. Plus a very sweet hubby who suggested I use part of my bonus.

I've never done the bank transfer bit so this will be a learning experience for me.

Thanks for the advice! I hope they take a 4/5 wig since we have a few of those around from the pukifees.
