    2. Wow :) Ok - the first page should be loaded with pictures right?

ps - are naughty pictures with Mini Riz in it welcome here?

    3. omg, cyador, your little girl is so cute!!!!
richila, let's see the new look on your boys!

    4. Oh dear. Seems like I just adopted a Mini Riz. :)

So I've been ordering eyes, looking at wigs, generally finding ways to get rid of MORE money like the madwoman I am. ;) And I came across this site:

      http://www.clear-lan.com/index.htm

Do you think any of her stuff might possibly fit a Mini Riz? Momoko dresses, for instance? Hoodies and skirts? I know next to nothing about Momokes... Or Blythe things, perhaps?

      Thanks!

    5. From what i have seen the Momoko things will be wearable but a little too large - and I would not get the dresses with thight armholes, those may give a problem with the rather large hands our mini planetdolls have. If not for those postcosts i would be tempted.

    6. A new thread, yeah! Mieke, I would think at least those sleeveless dresses with the empire waist would work fine on mini-Riz, but anything with a tight sleeve or leg I would avoid.

    7. Oh, how wonderful! I like to find ways to get rid of money too! I don't think that makes you a madwoman at all!! (It doesn't...right???).
There's some really cute outfits on that site, if anyone orders any and finds that they work, please let us know!

    8. Thanks! Hmmm, haven't even looked at the postcosts yet. Maybe I'll just use the pictures for inspiration then, LOL.

      Good to know, thank you!

Hehe, thanks. I do feel a bit silly sometimes, spending so much money on dolls and doll-related things. But then again, I enjoy them very much, so why not? I don't need a thousand pairs of shoes or 10 handbags for myself. I just need doll things. At least, that is what I always tell myself, LOL.

I love love love the July 2007 Momoke outfits they've got. Wish I could sew like that!

    9. Meike - I have one Momoko dress which fits ok, but needed the cuff opening. Then I ordered another close fitting dress (from the same seller) and it's way too small. So I'd go for stretchy stuff only.

    10. Thanks!! I guess my best bet is to try and make her some things myself then! That, or spend even more money commissioning clothes. Maybe next month. ;)

EDIT: What about Blythe clothing? Has anyone ever tried that?

    11. Hello! I'm making my Mini Riz (on the way from the UK as we speak, yay!) a dress using a scaled down Raw Kiss pattern, but I am a bit unsure of the length of the skirt. Could someone perhaps measure their Mini Riz for me, from the hollow of her neck to just above the ankles? :) Thanks!!

    12. 9 cm, from the middle of the hollow of the neck to RIGHT above the ankle by my measurements...

*EDIT-19! Keys are "sticking" on my laptop!

    13. You're a star. Thanks so much!! *off to hem the dress now* :)

    14. 9 inch or 9 cm? The doll in 27 cm in total.

    15. dangit! 19 cm! Thanks for pointing that out Cyador, my laptop key missed a beat there. Meike, hope you caught that before hemming,. or I'll owe you a dress...

    16. LOL, I was just about to type a new post - "don't you mean 19 cm?" :) So no harm done. Although I definitely wouldn't say no to a new dress. :P

    17. Maybe someone can organise a swab?

    18. I know this is for Riz. But can Mini Tara join in, too? I just got one last week from a good friend. She needs hair, clothes, shoes - you know, the works!

    19. Yes, all PD Minis are welcome here.

    20. Richila- maybe you should change the thread name to planet doll MiniRiz/Rosanne/Tara/etc?

I hate to admit it but I am getting mighty tempted.......

    21. You know you need a mini PD.

    22. Hey cirquemom! Long time no see! My PD Mini Riz is the only tiny I have been able to keep, tinies are usually in and out here, but I love my Riz (and have settled in with ONE tiny, no more to come in and out!...really! no, really, I mean it!!!!).
I think the first thread was titled "PD Mini Riz", which is likely why the name has carried on, but it wouldn't be as much fun without the other PD Mini's!

RandiC, hope to see pics of your girl soon!

      Meike, :doh

Cyador, I'd be up for a swap! I've never done one, so couldn't organize, but I'd participate!

    23. Oh yes please! The more the merrier. Congrats on your new girl! What style were you thinking of for her?

    24. If the name of the thread changes - why not call it Mini PD's ? That covers all of them, including any future molds.

    25. Thanks everyone. Haven't thought of a style for her yet, Meike. I just got her, and I don't even have a name for her. But she's tan, and she looks wonderful with my normal skin 43 cm Tara.

I heard she can wear the clothes of a 10 in fashion doll that I collect. So that's a start. But I have to get busy and start trying stuff on her.

    26. She's heeeeere! My Mini Riz was just delivered! I can't believe how dainty she is. How very lovely. How lifelike. How... well, I could go on and on. Let's just leave it at: I love her!

Her eyes aren't even here yet, nor are her wigs, but Kathryn (whom I adopted her from) very kindly sent a beautiful mohair wig with her, and my Pukipuki Ante will just have to make do with her sleeping faceplate for a while!

Please allow me to introduce Tabitha. :)

SO happy to have her! :D

    27. Tabitha is lovely, congratulations!

    28. Tabitha is very pretty! I like her face-up and wig very much! Congratulations!

    29. She's gorgeous, Mieke!

    30. Thanks ladies! :)

If you don't mind, I'll spam her a bit more.

New hairs and a new dress today!

    31. Oh Meike, she's just gorgeous! Congrats, what a lovely, lovely girl!

    32. Tabitha is a cutie - please keep posting!

    33. Meike - she is a beauty! Did you make this dress yourself?

    34. A new thread!!!!
And filled with Dutch people! :D I want to chime in, too!

Meike, gefeliciteerd with Tabitha - she's gorgeous. I love her hairs! Did you make her dresses? They are adorable!

I've been away for quite awhile, and I'm so out of the loop..
But I'd like to share a new picture of my little Parisienne, Sophie. She and I went on vacation to her hometown Paris in July, and she showed me all her favorite spots.
Here she is playing the violin at the bottom of the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur in Montmartre:

    35. Now I've flipped through all the tre treads several times and finally I could not stop myself. So now is a small mini-Riz ordered:)Now, just wait. Is happy that she will come in the autumn after the summer holidays. Something fun to look forward to.

    36. Thank you! I am quite in love with her myself. :D

      Oh definitely!

Thanks! No, not this particular one, it's a Blythe dress I bought on Etsy.

Thanks very much! Haha, you're right, there are quite a lot of Dutchies in here aren't there! :) I made the first dress, bought the second. Working on another dress for her at the moment, but waiting for the trims to get here...

Ah, Sophie! The best dressed little Mini Riz around! :) I bet she - and you - had lots of fun in Paris. :aheartbea

Congrats! That is exactly what happened to me, LOL. I always liked Mini Riz, but after going through the previous threads, I just knew I had to have one myself... You won't regret it, she's even more lovely IRL!

    37. finally got some pictures of Iris and Noah (mini riz and paul). I need to re-do Noah's face, the wounds were just me playing around and don't fit him at all.

      [IMG][IMG]

    38. I finally took new pictures of my crew.

They are on the cream couch.

    39. It's been three days since I ordered my Riz and it's feels already like an eternity:)

Bought some shoes, eyes and wigs for her, but know someone who can I find some clothes? Or you have to sew it yourself? She is so tiny.

    40. Here everybody is!! I kept going back to the old thread and thinking no one was posting! Silly me!
Congrats Mieke on your new girl, she's little beauty!

I like this newer format too.

Sophie was the girl that pushed me over the edge! So good to see her back here Zozolala

Glad Noah is getting a new face up poor baby looks like he had a bad fall! Hayden your raven Iris is a beauty!

Your family keeps growing Richila, that's a great room! They all look so cozy!

My Renée is a bit put out. She was getting portrait done and those little Imps had to pop in!

She wanted to show off her new dress and says, "They are too distracting! Can we box them up and ship them off?" My goodness you can't rid of little brothers! Even if the are imps!

    41. Congrats on your new girl DD!!!!
Actually, there are some really great options, from high end quality, to "off the rack" inexpensive items that mini PD's can wear! Zozolala makes the most amazing PD mini clothes (I think fairies live at her house, and sew for her...no human could make such perfectly crafted tiny items... but that's just a theory on my part). gaylejoy, here on DOA makes some awesome PD mini clothes at great prices, spampy does incredible casual clothes, and there are many other options you can find at your local toy store. If you search the other "Mini Riz" threads and just type fits into the search bar, you'll find many posts on what fits your incoming girl!

I'm looking forward to seeing pics of your new girl when she arrives!

    42. She is tiny isn't she. Try Spampy for clothes - she's got a Mini Riz herself and the things she makes are just fantastic. :aheartbea

Just out of curiosity, what kind of shoes did you get? I haven't had much luck with mine. The two pairs I bought were either too small or much too large!

EDIT: whoops, sorry, didn't see this page when I replied! Wally already mentioned Spampy. :)

And Sisen - what a lovely girl you've got!

    43. I ordered five pairs from three different companies and I have no idea yet if they will fit well. But can view the images when the shoes and the doll will.

      Zozolalas cloth are just amaizing!!!
I have not looked at the others yet but think I will love to sew clothes for the little lady. So I get probably have to wait until she comes.

These flats fit snug, but will fit on PD mini girls on barefeet. My girls have the black, blue, cream, red and patent ones.[IMG]

The boots are bigger and will fit over socks/tights.

    45. Awesome pics and dolls everyone!:)
Sorry for not taking part lately. Just popping in now to give a link to skin comparisons (- quickly because my back is killing me). Just got my new order this weekend and it looks like PD has changed their resin again recently. Here's the link.

    46. Finally received Tabitha's proper eyes today, AND got my lens back from being repaired. Yay! Let's do a pic. :)

    47. Sisen - that is a great picture! I love those imps in there with her!

Meike - you are really very lucky with this wonderful face-up on your girl. She is truely pretty! What kind of eyes did you get for her? And congratz with your working camera!

    48. Nothing fancy - just el cheapo Glib acrylics. :) 8mm (LH-LK iris), colour G8LH-05. And thanks! So glad to have my workhorse lens back again. :)

    49. Meike -She is so beautiful and those eyes really fits to her faceupp <3

    50. Mieke love your girl! Her face up is wonderful and those eyes are perfect!

    51. got some 10mm glass eyes for Iris and Noah, I wasn't a huge fan of the acrylics they came with.

      [IMG][IMG]

    52. I just ordered a Mini Riz yesterday! :fangirl: I am so excited to get her! I ordered directly from Planetdoll's site. I was going to order from Denver Doll Emporium but I wanted a regular skin and they only had tan skin in stock. I ordered her with no faceup and am going to have someone give her one since that is definitely beyond my skills and abilities!

What has everyone's experience with Planetdoll been like if you have ordered directly from them? I only have one other Planetdoll girl (memaid aqua) and I bought her second hand.

    53. Congrats, Landlocked Mermaid! I ordered from them directly and my dolls came in at almost exactly the same amount of time they estimated. No complaints from me! Haeden, Iris and Noah look great! Where did you get their eyes from - I'm not very happy with the ones I have now.

    54. they're from mint on card, they look nice but they could definitely be a higher dome to fit into the eye better.

    55. I have ordered 6 out of 7 dolls sirectly from the company and never waited longer than 5 weeks.

    56. Thanks for the info, kboyd912 and richila. I will let everyone know when she arrives! I'm not sure what color eyes/wig I want her to have yet either! Decisions, decisions...

    57. Yay! I too have order a Mini Riz! I ordered her from DDE so I expect she'll be here in a couple weeks (I'm in Canada) I pretty excited. She'll be my second doll. I have a feeling that I'm going to really like her! I have a Minifee but I actually find her rather large! I guess I like 'em little! :D Yay!

    58. Congrats Rikki! I like them large, and have never been successful at keeping a tiny very long, but my Mini Riz is here to stay, I adore her! I think you'll love your new girl, and DDE is the best, so I'm sure she'll arrive very soon!

    59. Congratulations! I think you will definitely be hooked when you feel her in your hand. They are wonderful little dolls.
