I didn't, Pippin. It's a corset from ATsuri. It's a part of a whole outfit she's wearing. It has cute little bloomers and a hair ribbon too!

I'm still waiting to send her out for a make over to the same artist who did her face up.. I'm just sending her away again, cause the face up is a bit ruined in some points so I need a make over on her.. but it will be quite the same, in the end..

Elyza is gorgeous Elnuyn85, hope you can get her for her new faceup soon and yes that is the default faceup - she has golden glitter on her cheeks but I can never get it to show up!

I think I'll take advantage of this make over and I'll go for a darker color for eyebrows, to better match the new hair color I choised for her..

 

Thank you all for the lovely comments about Sasha - Im glad I decided to keep her. The people of this thread are as special as their dolls .

As spam has been requested Sasha wanted to be included - with new wig and dress. ( Yeah thanks cirquemom, she read what you wrote about new outfits etc to cheer her up !)

I don't know about luts or leeke. I got these shoes from Releaserain on ebay. I tend to not buy stuff from luts or leeke unless I am in a GO or ordering a lot myself because of the shipping.

 

I have been really out of the PD loop. No wonder whybi haven't seen many notifications... There's a new thread.

Question. I've noticed that the PD NS is on the yellow side. Is it really that yellow or is it my Creamy/buttery like.

Comparison pics would be helpful.

I've been been reading and admiring the pictures posted here, but wasn't able to take part in any of that myself lately. Sorry for going A.W.O.L on you guys, and hope to be able to change that again!

Maudib05: PD put up a notice recently that they would get a new NS skintone, a "normal pink", and that the previous skintone is their "normal yellow". It was planned to be released on September 5th, along with their mini-mermaid, but it looks like there's a hold up (maybe because of the heavy rainfall earlier?).

I received my last order from them a few weeks ago, and they sent the NS tiny with extra head in their new resin by mistake. I've posted pictures comparing the 3 NS resins here.
Here's one of them:

The pictures aren't the best, my second attempt at it hasn't been much better, sorry, and it's hard to describe the newest color, but I'd call it more of a peachy color than "pink". It's quite nice actually, even though I like the most recent "normal yellow" most, which to me is a very nice light, soft peachy pink IRL.
The recent "normal yellow" is a pinker (and lighter, softer) skintone than the old normal (yellow) skin (before fall 2010), so any dolls you see that are cast before that time, will look yellower than the newer dolls do!

As for the newest resin, the "normal pink": it's not really a more pink color to me, if that's what you're looking for, rather more like a mix of the (darker) oldest yellow resin with pink added to it.
It's definitely more yellow (and quite a bit darker) than DIM or Dollmore, and from what I can compare, comes closest to a slightly darker Leekeworld NS resin (a bit darker and with a slightly more yellow tone to it than my LW bjd had when he arrived in Januari 2010).

Thought I would share some spam of my girls.
First is EsRayElla, she is a Dandy Head on a girl body with modded Elf ears... done by Napoleon_Chan her on DoA (and she did the lovely face up too)


Then there is Saraphina
She is a Tara with a lovely face up by Ahyu her on DoA

 

So pretty! That's the first time I've seen Dandy as a girl! She looks great, though. And of course I have a soft spot for Tara.

 

Dragonlovesdolls: Your girls are really lovely! I especially like your EsRayElla, she looks amazing and so adorable with those modded Elf ears! Always thought Dandy might make a cute girl too!

 

Thanks cirquemom, when I received Tara I knew she needed a partner and I wanted a female that was a little bit larger and did not look just like her sister so the Dandy head was perfect...

Thanks Wolfboy, Napoleon_Chan can do amazing things with resin. She is modding a PlanetDoll Roseann into a lovely Butterfly type creature right now.
When Saraphina needed a partner we wanted someone who looked good with her but not like a sister and I have the HUGE PlanetDoll love so we tried this option. I think it worked out too.

I feel so mentally stressed lately, I'm playing so few with my dolls.. not only lack of time, I have no much will to take some shots when I'm back home for lunch.
But Today, I just needed Elyza's company so I stealed her from May (who is hating me tonight XD) and I took some shots I've just modified & uploaded online.
Man.. hope to be happier in the near future. I feel I really need to realize something and I'm just wasting my time so bad..

Elnuyn85: I just can't get enough of your gorgeous ghost girl. I've missed seeing her sad little face, please keep posting pictures of her! Roseanne's probably my favourite PD sculpt, and would love to have her in MSD size some day too (have her in the tiny version). Hope you feel happier soon. Good thing Elyza's there to keep you company while you feel like this!

Well, since Katie gave me permission to post pictures of the mysterious boy, here 'he' is. He doesn't speak, so we still don't know what his name is, that's why we've started to just call him "the boy" for now.

His face-up isn't totally finished, and this 6/7 inch wig is a bit on the small side, where the 7/8 version is a bit big. Will need to find him a wig cap.

I like calling him The Boy. I have an off-topic boy who ended up being called Green Boy (because of his green hair and eyes and outfit) by someone who fell in love with him (so I gave him to her, some things are just meant to be). Now I have a new boy (also OT) who has blue hair and eyes and so far his name is just Blue Boy. I think it's going to stick.
Your boy reminds me of that wonderful song, "Nature Boy"- written and song by Nat King Cole, but also sung by Michael Jackson. Listen to it and see if you agree!!!

And now I'll always think of The Boy when I listen to it! He's great. Maybe he and Katie have a special language, just like some twins do.

It's interesting to see how Katie is starting to get 'girlier' ever since The Boy came out of hiding. They seem to bond really well together, so who knows they might develop a special language together too. And they are more or less twins as well, arriving from PD at the same time!
I'm getting more and more hopeful that she'll be willing to try on some of the dresses I've been working on lately. Before there was just no way she would, but now...

Working on shooting things in RAW and figuring out other techniques. Mitcham is the Guinea pig. Sorry for being missing for so long

 

Great to see Mitcham! And I'm glad people are starting to post pictures again- there was quite a dry spell there. Can't really complain too much as I am guilty as well! Maybe this weekend I can get some new shots.

And I ordered one of the OT mini-mermaids! So Vienna and Manouche will have a new fishy friend one of these days (not soon though because she's on layaway).

Again, I don't know what it is with me and sad faces, but PD's Emma sculpt might be their least sad looking one(?), anyway, I still felt the instant desire to take away more of Emma's happy expression, so I used the sculpt to create an autistic boy character...
