Got a sweet little Charlotte on layaway in Australia. She will be my first tiny. All of my big and min sized cat girls will just adore her!

I bought my girl a vintage Jem doll (from the 80's cartoon, Jem) for my wife's Charlotte, Olivia, and it fits great!

Does anyone else know if there's any 80's vintage doll clothes that fit Charlotte? I'd love to find one of the Sailor Moon dolls' uniforms from the Sailor Moon dolls that Viz made in the early 90's. That'd be SO CUTE!!

Anyone else have any recommendations about 80's & 90's characters' outfits that perhaps I could test out?

My Charlotte v2 arrived

I still haven't had a chance to paint her up due to weather, but I did sew a quick dress for her.
I've got some Blythe patterns I need to try, I think with a few mods they may work.


Ingy, I've got a couple Sailor Moon dolls in my closet... I've got to try stealing their outfits!
You should look for the Card Captors dolls, same company made them I think.

I have long lamented missing out on the original limited edition Charlotte, but I found a very talented faceup artist to paint a basic one for me. She came out beautiful!! I can't wait until she arrives so I can play with her and take her shopping for clothes.

 

Oh wow Celesse, she turned out beautiful! You could almost mistake her for the original, your face up artist really knows their job.

Two Charlotte's has different tails, but I think both of them are pretty realistic and cute.

 

I'm thinking of getting some premium quality eyes for my Charlotte, but I'm not sure that they would fit. Anybody have eye recommendations?

 

I definitely recommend Enchanted Doll Eyes by Mary Mama. The eyes are gorgeous, affordable, and Mary Mama is very kind. I got a pair of them for my Charlotte and they look great. I'll get pictures when I can.

Went to a local saver's store and bought a bad of old random barbie doll clothing bits and was able to scrounge this up for my Charlotte XD

I finally got pictures of my girl! I made sure to get a close-up so you can see her eyes, which are 18mm ED eyes.

I will be the happy owner of a Charlotte White skin basic soon enough! I am so excited!

I jsut have one question: Does anyone here know some good painters for fur patterns and the like withint Canada/the USA? I don't feel comfortable sending her outside of those two countries to get her re-done. Every time I have mailed something to a country outside of that (or while in the those countries, mailed anywhere) the packages and letters get devoured by the postal service.

Please let me know! I have a limited Pipos Mango that has a calico print, and I want something similar done to my Charlotte.

 

Finally got my Charlotte faceup to a decent point - I may continue with it later, but at least she has some more personality now :3

I don't want to photo spam, but I did end up trying an outfit from an old ~12" Sailor Moon doll and it mostly fit! There's a gap at the back around the hips, but I put the tail through there so it worked out nicely.

I just can't get over how beautiful her face pattern is! Do you have a close up of it? Is it smooth as it looks in pictures or is it different in real life? Seeing what you've done with her makes me want to perhaps try to do something with mine when she arrives... though we will have to see if that bravery holds through when she gets here!

The faceup is a little grainy/chalky looking in parts, since I'm using pastel and trying to show some of the base color underneath. A couple more layers of pastel may fix it though. I think airbrush works best for smooth gradients and deep color. There's a larger photo here:

What are you ladies (and lads) personalities like? Have you found any difficulty specifically with certain poses? What kind of tips do you have on ways to not make they eyes not look crossed? Did they change their personality on you?

Would you mind sharing who did her face up? It's hard to find people willing to do anthros, sadly. I'm guessing they might be harder to work on?
In any cases, they did a fantastic job. And those eyes are to die for. She's quite pretty!

Tashlan, she's absolutely adorable! I love the siamese markings! She's really lovely. And what a pretty dress too! That little bow is beyond precious.

And does anyone know if Mecy and Charlotte have the same body? My friend is planning on getting a Mecy, and since I have a spare Charlotte outfit I was wondering if it would fit her. Looking at the pictures, they do seem the same, but I can't find non-stock images of Mecy. Thank you!

Just trying to revive this place up a bit these girls need love!

 

I have some lovely pictures of my lady Shillelaugh in her undergarments that I just made last night. Sadly I can't seem to find the bloody cord I need to plug in the camera to get them off. I'm sure it's somewhere! Eventually I am hoping to get her face up customized, but for now I am trying my hand at least getting her own outfit down pat!

So happy to see there is a thread for Charlotte here! I enjoyed seeing all the great pics everyone has posted here, too! I've finally succumbed to the charms of this doll and ordered the new limited edition currently offered by Pipos. Anyone else ordering one? I just love her coloring.

Trying a new look for my Charlotte :3
The eyes are obitsu 18mm acrylics with the back half filed off. Outfit is Volks for YoSD, it's big in the waist but since the style is high waisted it works alright.
