Ohhh my god I want one. Or three. Why did I look!

 

Oh my gosh, those cute bunnies come in 12 colors! Though I just ordered two of Soom's Petit Gem FCE dolls, so I can't justify getting one. I'm hoping for another round of orange Cheese mice this year...

 

;o; everyone's tempting me with the cute bunnies at the moment! This would be the third one in about a month, argh! They're so sweet that missing this is really gonna sting XD

 

I’m just glad they didn’t do the kitties this time! The little rabbits are adorable, but I am and always have been a “crazy cat lady”.

 

Can anybody with Charlotte III version comment on how 6-7" wigs fit her? Just curious since I've seen a lot of anthro dolls where the fit doesn't quite work.

I just got my gray Vanilla Ringo and my sister got her purple Be.Ringo today! I can’t resist Pipos cats (Baha was my first BJD and is still much loved)!

 

I have a grey Ringo but the vanilla Ringo in grey sounds lovely
I hope you will post pictures of your sisters and yours when you receive them

You can’t go wrong with either one-Pipos has lovely colored resin. Personally, I would choose the lemon one but I like them all.

I have to agree, Pipos has some of the most appealing resin colours i've seen in the BJD world. While i've passed on the Doma and bunny releases, I know I would have a hard job picking which colour I like the best!

Well Trix finally got a new outfit for her Luts zuzu body!

Haha, it took me a long time to make as didn't have much of a plan and was playing around with different ideas while making it. But it's nice to be able to use an alternative body when I want something more posable

 

That's a really great hybrid, he look fantastic!

 

I hope no one minds me asking, but could anyone on here share if a traditional doll stand that holds a doll up under the arms would work with a Cheshire Cat? This is the only doll I’ve considered getting a stand for but I wasn’t sure if the tail would get in the way of the rod/dowel holding them up. I don’t think I’d want a saddle type stand as I’m still unsure if the base of the tail would get in the way and it just looks less stable.

 

It does work if you turn the stand a bit to the side. It shows more in the front, then, unless your Cheshire has loose clothes that fit over the stand.

I can finally show you how my Mint Charlotte looks now that her face-up is done:



I did make her a wig too but it needs cutting and trimming before it's nice enough. And I still don't have time to sew her an outfit but she will eventually be a cat warrior (despite her pastel cute looks).
I have more pictures on my LJ if someone wants to take a look.

I'm really happy I ordered her with the "art body". The neck joint gives her lot's of poseability! All in all I'm very impressed and happy about the quality plus gotta love those strong ear and tail magnets! All my other anthros have too weak magnets so their ears/tail keeps falling off...

 

I got a surprise arrival today! Without any notification of shipping, and after only placing my order on May 18th, my purple ice cream bunny Rooney just showed up in my mail box today! Completely unexpected!

That soft purple resin is so pretty! And those sparkly lavender eyes!

(He didn't arrive with the free fur choker parts shown on Pipos' website, though. I'm not sure if he was meant to or not.)

 

Suruni, your Charlotte is stunning-the faceup and stripes suit her so well! I also love the eyes and those fantastic lashes. You make me want to add one of those beauties to my collection, though I won’t be able to get that lovely color.

 

Got my cheese mouse today..despite Pipos claiming she ships with 16 mm eyes she was sent with 14s. The 16s I have do NOT fit inside her. I'm so disappointed as they were custom made and can't be returned I wish Pipos would list accurate information on their website. Just, be forewarned. Cheese Mouse takes 14s, not 16s.

 

My Cheese Mouse has 16mm glass eyes, maybe the difference is in the dome height?

I can officially join this thread as I adopted a grey Cheshire from the mp!

I had an orange Cheshire years ago (when they were first released), and had to sell him due to finances. Since then, I’ve been looking at Cheshires and thinking about maybe getting another, and when I saw the one in the mp, it was love at first sight. I’ve come full circle again!

 

@kurogane Congratulations on your Cheshire adoption! How lovely that you were able to rekindle an old love once again and bring one home. I love stories like this!

 

@PoeticSoul thank you! I’ve always admired your dolls and how you design their characters. You have been a source of inspiration to me and I realized I never let you know!

I’m really happy and excited about this little guy. He’s already told me his name…Myst, because of his grey color and also works for his biggest character trait…mischief.

I think I understand now why there are so few Cheshire’s that have eyelashes... They are terribly hard to put on with those curvy eyes and little squinty corners! Or I’m just bad at it, but either way we survived the application and love the look! Here’s a quick snap of Lore.

 

I’m loving the eyelash look on your sweet Cheshire, blackcat87! I wish I had the patience (or the eyesight) to attempt eyelashes in some of my Cheshires.

 

@City Kitty thank you! I know not everyone might want them but I think Pipos should offer an eyelash option for more of their anthro dolls, I’d be willing to spend an extra $5-10 for them to do it and save us all the headache

 

My Cheshire came, and wow, I’m so in love! When I opened up the box, I wasn’t expecting his head to be so huge! It’s bigger than my Dollfie Dream! Also he takes at least 20mm eyes. I’m so impressed with his solid, thick feel. Even with the huge head it doesn’t flop around, and all of his magnets are really strong. OK, enough gushing, lol.

 

I just wanted to post somewhere, I finally paid off my Pipos cats on layaway and they have shipped ^^ I'm so happy..

 

I received my cats today and while they are so pretty, I am disappointed with the eye size as well. I specifically asked for 18mms (and purchased replacement 18mms for my previous order) but I still received 16mm eyes. The listing continues to read 18mm, but they said on Q&A that 16mm is correct.

Do they not realize that the eye size makes a huge difference in the appearance of the doll? Their handmade eyes are beautiful and it is quite a waste that I have now three pairs of 16mm eyes with no-one to put them in.

edit: I feel really bad for whining but if I had known I would be receiving 16mm eyes anyway, I could have added some extra 18mms to my order then!

 

Have you noticed that Pipos will be releasing some frogs soon? Does anybody know the exact release period? I think I have checked their site often enough so that those froggies should not be sold out already.

 

The frogs are up for sale now! They are really adorable but I basically just collect the cats so I am “safe”.

 

I am definitely getting one or two. My issue is the eyes. I’d like to see a photo of them with the eyes listed, they look dark and glittery. I’d like to see them lined up together so I could pick the ones I want easier.

 

I'm not sure about the eyes either. I guess I'll just try to pick a color that should look best with a given skin color (green) and then change the eyes if they don't look good.

 

My thoughts as well. I want Roggie, mostly I loved the mint matched with the soft minty eyes. Now it might be blue. Which frog are you wishing for?

 

I want Roggie, too. I think I like the golden eyes the best.

 

I've always liked frogs and I was kind of sad I missed my chance to get one of Pipos frogs and now their back! I think I need a mint Trudy to hang out with my Soom Petit Gems.

Now that we have had a spring and summer Charlotte, I'm just waiting for an autumn Charlotte that's finally going to force me to get my first anthro. It's my favorite season, and the earlier limiteds were already gorgeous!

I just received an email from Pipos and the new Charlotte is stunning. Unfortunately she doesn't fit into my budget so I look forward to seeing what others do with her.

Yes and seeing her makes me sad I can't afford her right now.
