does anyone know if pipos sends out emails confirming your order after you've paid...? Been almost a week and I haven't heard anything from them. Can't rememebr of that's normal of them or not... It's been a while.

I'm not sure what size this is... it's definitely smaller than the PO11 Rosie - does anyone know what to search for to find clothes that fit?
I'm torn though, I love the faceup already but want to do something different by myself... ugh, anyone else had this dilemma?

Do you guys know if the roggie has a faceplate system or a regular head?

 

I love Roggies but don't have one to check about the faceplate, unfortunately. I would guess it's a faceplate, since Pipos tends to use those for most of its dolls...

I've got a Tomo on layaway. So cool that Pipos has so many frog/toad choices!

 

Hey guys!

I'm wondering if any of you have ordered a happy line body? I don't expect any of them to have arrived yet since they were released so recently. I was already smitten with the cheese mouse, but when they released the happy line bodies I was so happy, I like the proportions of that body much better than the jr. pi body.

I'm just curious about where to pick up clothes for them! The happy line body is pretty awkward in that it has quite a long torso and long arms compared to a lot of similarly sized tinies so I'm sure I'm going to struggle to find stuff that fits properly!

 

I did order a Trudy frog with the taller Happy Line body because I felt the original body the Trudy frogs came on, made them too tiny for me. I love my Tomo, but couldn't resist the lure of a bright blue Trudy froggie! I also have a couple of cheesemice and a fox Robin, so I can compare the bodies when my blue Trudy comes in.

 

I just received an email, that my Ringo is flying to me already!! YeY!!!

 

I also received a shipping notice for my Pink Rooney! I was hoping to have Pockets my patchwork mouse painted by the time she came home, but with all this heavy rain it looks like he's not going to be ready in time!

Got my bunny! Will post a comparison pic of beige vs peach, it's really subtle and under certain types of lighting it's impossible to tell the difference.

The only thing that bothered me was the box she came in, when did Pipos switch over to such shoddy packaging?? Do they not include the pillows or shoeboxes anymore?

 

Yeah, that caught me off guard too! But I went back and looked at the sale pages again, and it does say new style boxes.
But yeah, not an improvement.

 

Can anyone post photos of new boxes and stuff?

Simple, clear outer box that was wrapped well in bubble wrap.

Corrugated yellow paper with a ribbon that tied my frog to the paper. (My frog actually arrived with his head popped off. Everything was fine though.)

The white foam baggie was just placed over the top of the frog (Trudy on the new Happy Line body.).

Nowhere near as nice as the cushions and sturdy box we used to get.

 

ugh, that's bad :< I really liked old boxes, especially the golden one...ehhh

How long does Pipos usually take to get back you you after finishing a layaway? I finished paying off my order last Friday but I haven't heard back from them yet or is that just how they run and they'll only notify me when its ready to be sent off?

 

Oh, I never was paying via layaway, so I can't tell, sorry :<

Got some ED eyes for my Charlotte, finally. 16mm is a good fit for her.

 

This may be a dumb question..but what do you use to clean colored resin? Like scuff marks, etc? Just soap and water? I've never had a colored doll before. >_>

 

Same as any other doll. I use magic eraser, or spit and a finger.

Jadepixel - Those are the perfect size! Nice color too!

Awww, he looks so happy! And I still love those eyes! They have a great shine, and show up so well.

 

He's adorable! I have to wait til it's less humid to try my hand at putting a "face" on my Frogbert! He's cute blank but he needs more color.

Aernath: Did you paint your Tomo or was that default? And are you gonna give your new one a face-up?

 

Hahaha! Frogbert! I love it!
My Tomo has the default faceup (minus the flower. I got the limited one and he came with a flower on his cheek. It didn't suit him, so off it came!).
I'm hoping to give my new blue boy a faceup and some black spots on the back of his head and back.
Eventually. If it ever stops raining long enough.

I just finished the makeup for Filip last night (R.PI Derek). I hope you like him (he's got light stripes on his back as well)

I just received my Peach Rooney today, hes so cute!(fast shipping too!) The resin colour is really interesting, Im only seeing him under artificial light at the moment, so I bet it will look better in natural light tomorrow when I take some pictures.
This is the 3rd different company I have bought from and I always find it so interesting when I feel how each resin is, the textures are all so different between the 3 companies I have experienced, not in a bad way though. It might just be a size thing however, since my largest doll is the smoothest, then the smallest is on the more textured side?
