Wow, I just realised that this years come 4 years owning a Piposdolls cats. Where the time has gone?

 

Wow I just realized I have owned my baha since 2007. I had such a hard time finding anthro BJDs back then! Now I have too many anthros to choose from.

Did anyone see the new teaser on the pipos website? There are new cheshire cats. I can't wait to see more pics.

 

Happy New Year! I only started collecting at Christmas of 2012. Oops, they multiplied. This year has been awful with the loss of my mother and all the expenses related to that. So not much on the doll front other than enjoying moderate clothing purchases.

I did get an off topic doll for My Lily has a baby sister now. I've named her Chrysanthemum. She's quite naked. I'll be whipping up some tutu skirts for her. I'm going to be brave and paint all my cheese pieces as well. I'm definitely a chicken still, though did restring one doll at a meet.

Before any new dolls a laptop and grad school are in order. It's a good thing I love my little (literally) crew.

UrbanFaerie - I'm sorry for your rough year. Your dolls look so cute! And they do seem to multiply faster than you realize sometimes!

I did see the teaser on the Pipos site, and I admit my first reaction was a startled gasp. Wonder what those heads are going to be? A new doll size perhaps? Or an extremely large headed Pipos PI?

 

I ordered a White Ringo about three days ago now, and I'm kind of rethinking getting white, since it will yellow over time.

I'm rushing to find clothes that will fit him, and I have a few ebay listings of good clothes for him saved when I'm sure he's been shipped off. :3

 

All doll colors will yellow overtime anyways, at least for anthro style dolls, it just means their fur is a different color, which is good enough for me. I just adore WS dolls though, my entire collection is made of them for the most part.

The new POP Cheshires look so wonderful! They look both cute and a little scary, which is perfect for any Cheshire image. I suppose I'm not completely certain what style they are going for, something a long the lines of a Tim Burtonesque theme maybe? They are just so tempting especially with that unique makeup style!

Awww thank you...I only got them at the weekend then painted and shabby them up a bit

 

I only just got my first white Pipos dolls last February (cheesemouse and friend Robin _oops, not Ringo), and neither one has faded or changed a bit as far as I can tell. ^_^
They've been out and about a bit with me.

I'm not too sure how I feel about the newest Pipos Cheshire dolls just yet, I think I need more pictures of them.

I currently have only two Pipos, Miss White who has been with me for a few years now and Smiler who came late last year. I am currently waiting on a Black Smile Cheshire via DDE.

Hello all~ I just ordered my first tiny, Jr.Pi Vanilla Ringo (white) and I am so excited to get her!
What do Pipos wait times usually look like?

Also, I must be super lucky because Pipos now lists it as sold out.

Does anyone own this sculpt? I would love to see pictures!

 

sugarsuites Mine Charlotte is now have been 4 years, about first year it was on the shelf and after that on her box. Yeah she has changed color little bit, becomed teeny bit creamy, but I think it's still beautifull color! I wouldn't notice that otherwise, but my Ringo's are whiter. So I wouldn't really worry about yellowing that much.

hello kati Congrats on ordering V.Ringo! It depends, sometime's they are really fast, like there is just three-four weeks waiting time. And of course some V.Ringo spam, here's Ninnu:

 

Oh, wow. I'm hoping they are quick for me then. Ninnu is so cute.

 

I just bought a tiny Ringo from a friend on impulse. What size clothes will she wear? I had heard that PukiFee would work well. Any other suggestions? Also, she has no tail! I am contacting Pipos for a replacement, but I don't know when I will hear back. I think I could sew her a fur one. Has anyone tried doing that?

 

Aernath - a trio of mice! They look so darn cute. I've noticed as well that Pipos has to have the most stable resin out of any company's dolls I have owned. My Baha is from 2007, and she has been through a lot (not her first owner) and she has only slightly yellowed.

Klein - your dolls are so cute, and I LOVE their names!

chibi-kagu - Ninnu is so sweet!

sister cuervo - Ringos are so cute! I bet a fur tail would look pretty cool if Pipos won't replace the tail. I think you have to provide paper work to prove its legit, but don't know for certain.


I really do not care for the new Pop Cheshire myself. I like the head - they did a beautiful sculpt, but that much too small body totally kills it for me. Just doesn't look right. I might change my mind when I see owner pics, but as for now, not for me at all. :/

 

Pop Cheshire…is not normal, he is wacky, and obviously totally mad, but I think that maybe the head in the cup picture, absolutely did it for me. I don't know if I will have the finances for this one, but I am sure as heck going to try! All those literature courses, and still, the course I took on Lewis Carroll remains to this day, my absolute favorite class, forever in love I am with his creations and the people inspired by them.

 

Hi everybody I thought I would pop in and join you guys since I ordered a Black Smile Cheshire back in November from DDE (Yay looks like I'm not the only one congrats Klein) I can't wait to get him since he will be my first from Pipos and my first anthro so any advice is much appreciated

 

@ Vicki F-B - I love your display cabinet! You should decorate it and make some nice cushions for their little booties.
@ Artemos - Good luck in getting Pop Cheshire! He might be a rare one. I know myself and others have mixed feelings about him. Still, I admire the Pipos tries new things.

Thanks all, I actually placed my order for Pink Pop Cheshire this morning, hopefully I got in on the event, because I love those little cheshire statues. I was curious to see how they would be priced before I invested money into it, but they are very reasonably priced, well within what I was hoping, anything over 300 and I was gonna debate, but at the price they are now, I placed an order right away…had to have that face up, the creep factor is out of this world, and perfect for a side to Cheshire I love. Now I will have another to hang with my cranberry one >,<;

Hope someone else sees these new guys as something worth getting, the big heads, and funny tails are just too enticing for me to pass up apparently.

 

I ordered a pink Pop and then ordered the grey one a few hours later. What is the matter with me?

 

I know, I really considered the gray one too, but the pink one just drew me the most, so I settled for one. It is quite clear you have myriad of problems, starting with a cat addiction, then a resin one lol. Can't say as there is any cure for either though, but I'm not a professional…and if there was an "R"AA meeting, I would be right beside you. Did you order the limited faces?

 

I ordered a pink Pop (limited), my first Pipos doll in a long while, but I keep looking at the grey one. >_>;;; I am tempted, hrgh, but so many other dolls right now...

 

I ordered them with the limited faces. The pink I got with no outfit, but I ordered it for the grey one. I don't know if I was in time for the LE outfit or not. I want the Dreaming Prima Donna outfit for pink Pop.

I'll save you a chair at the meeting.

Does anyone have a cheshire star or regular in the baby yellow colour? I can't decide which colour or even which Cheshire to get.

The color is very difficult to photograph so I had to tweak the picture a little bit to make it match what she looks like in real life. But this is as close as I can possibly get and make the color justice.

I love the Star Cheshire in baby yellow!!! I myself am pretty partial to the Star Cheshire, so if your taking votes Lady Death, one vote for that one! Though the regular Cheshire is great too.

 

thanks! It's soo hard to choose. Dde has I think the yellow regular in stock and then grey, pink and yellow in the star Cheshire, so if I'm going with the regular cheshire I wouldn't have to choose a colour. I'll have to look at more photos and decide which sculpt first, then colour!

Well, I went and bought cranberry-lavender baby cheshire from marketplace. Here's a family pic, sorry for using the flash:

Selina (big sister), Velmu (father) and Melina (little sister). Mom is next one to buy, but I dont know mold is it star or basic one and in what color...

 

Thank you so much! I hope the picture might be of help I have a grey Star Cheshire too and I can also get a picture of him if it would be helpful? I absolutely adore the Star Cheshire so I just couldn't resist getting two different colors last summer when Pipos released the baby yellow one.

I'm not sure yet how Felicia will be painted. I think she is going to have stripes in some sort of red/brown colour, possibly mixed with light coloured stripes.

pepperonipizza The eye's and dress camed with doll, so if they look familiar then it is a same one. I just couldn't resist the idea getting a lavender color and idea for Melina's needing big sister popped instatly in head. Also it's kinda cool to have newer baby body and older one.

My Pipos Tomo came home!! His name is Trevor Croakington!

Thank you so much! I'm really happy her makeup works for her . I don't think I've seen any Deborah cats here either but I could be wrong. I've had mine since last summer but haven't been able to do any makeup until now.




I just assembled her and here is what she looks like now. Sorry about her showing a little of her butt but it was the only way to show the lower stripe on her back. I did however try to pose her to avoid obvious doll nudity

I'm going to work a bit more on her claws but overall I Think she's completed now (yay first completed doll with makeup!)

I love the new yosd sized dolls and am quite surprised at their price.

 

I like the new dolls too. It looks like the eyes are not included, so the price would be a little higher if ordering eyes from Pipos too.
The bodies look a little slimmer to me than the Jr. Pi, would be interesting to see a comparison...
I like Loa (bunny) and Rui (darker mouse) the most, but they all are very cute.

 

I loved them too, until I realized that they're not yosd sized! They're listed as 1/6 size but are only 16cm. Very misleading!
