Pipos Anthro discussion part 1

Oct 31, 2011

    1. aernath Robin is really cute! I have many time's thinked to get Robin off the marketplace, but I have stopped myself doing that (too many dolls already).
Razzy Congratulations on pink Cheshire! Hopefully she come's soon and take lots of pics of her!

    2. Thanks, Chibi-Kagu!

Can I request some Cheshire spam? :)

    3. Yes, of course! Cheshire spam would be awesome. Here's Velmu and always doing something that he shouldnt.

    4. Oh your little cheshires are adorable!! I love seeing pictures of different cheshires.
I really need to take some of my cherry blossom one to show you guys as I received him a little while ago :)

    5. Love the kitty spam!
Did anyone get one of the newer rainbow mice? I was going to until I saw they actually have open mouths with teeth. I like them much better with closed mouths.

And dropping some spam off of my two closed-mouth cheesemice!

    7. Gorgeous Cherry Blossom Cheshire, Razzy! I love the face paint on her.

Adore the call box full of mice, aernath. That's a great size. What size clothes do the Cheese Mice wear? I was thinking maybe they wore Pukifee?

    8. sistercuervo Velmu wishes good luck for Halloween troubles!
aernath Looks like callbox is in really good use!
Razzy She's so adorable and mischiveous looking.

    9. Thanks! I was going to stuff three Pipos in there, but it wasn't big enough on the inside! *gasp*
I don't know what size the cheesemice wear. I had to make the shirts they're wearing. :sweat

I like that bright pink of Hanabira! Such a happy color.

    10. So many cute babies :)
That pink resin is really pretty!

    11. When I went to Disney World, I took about a million photos of Cinder-Jack while I was in the line to ride! He found a gravestone that he liked- 'no time off for good behaviour'...fits him perfectly!

    12. I took some Halloween-y photos of my Charlotte :3
There are a couple Pure Neemo outfits that juuuust barely fit her, this one seemed appropriately spooky~
      [IMG]

    13. Awwww! I love all the kitties! I really don't know why I don't have at least one already, instead of mice. O_o  I've thought about getting a grey Demon for ever and a day. Maybe for Christmas....

    14. Cydril Heero looks so comfy with that fluffy dress.
Teabender That gravestone really is perfect place for Cinder-Jack!
jadepixel Charlotte's face-up is really lovely! Cute with that little pumpkin.

    15. Gumbert Literally caramel Baha, so sweet! *aww* for the socks.
Oh, I haven't shared here the pic where Sinna is playing.

    16. chibi-kagu Thanks! Your Sinna is cute too. ^_^

    17. My daughter just bought a mint Ringo to be a brother for her WS Ringo. He's so cute! Now I have to do the faceup on him.

    18. I have a question for all the Cheshire owners. Has anyone tried Mako eyes in their kitty? I'm wondering what size I should get. Someone is selling some 18 mm that I love, but I feel like they might be huge.

    19. I think 18 is way to big. My Delf takes 18mm and his eyes are double the size. I'd say 14mm would be a better bet.

    20. Well I know the Mako eyes tend to run small, so I was hoping I could swing it. Thanks for your input! :)

    21. Np :) I'm still also only figuring out my Cheshire's size and quirks.

    22. Okay, so Hanabira got her dress from Kuloft and it fits her perfectly! Hopefully I'll be able to photograph her in it soon, but for now here's an iPhone pic:

    23. Razzy What a lovely dress! The dress coloring is perfect, nicely brings out that beautifull Sakura -skintone.
In Finland we have today Father's day, witch means we visit fathers and grandfathers, spend sometime with them. Well Nannu spend sometime with Alvari -grandpa and they had a nice moment together.

    24. Hello there everyone! I just treated myself to a little pipos cheese mouse. I cannot wait for her to arrive! But while I wait, does anyone happen to have measurements for them?? I'd love to start sewing her some clothing, but I have nothing to compare her to :S

    25. I wanted to share some pics of my critters from Halloween in their costumes, but photobucket is just refusing to work with me. :/ Here's my purple Cheese mouse Grape Jelly in his cup cake costume I made him. One pic I could resize!

Saltcat, congrats on your Cheese mouse! They have a unique size, as they are smaller bodied then the other Jr. PI. (Cheese mouse and Loly are both like this.) They are smaller than Lati Yellow/PKF, so clothing for them aren't quite right. You should find the measurements for her on the Pipos site. They usually have the measurements for the doll on the page where you can buy the doll. Good luck, and I hope you share pics when she arrives!

    26. What a cute cupcake, pepperonipizza!

I gave up on Photobucket a long time ago; it just seemed too complicated. I moved to Flickr (I already had a Yahoo account, so it was simple).

    27. pepperonipizza Oh, wow, what a idea that cupcake -costume, just hilarious!

    28. pepperonipizza, Grape Jelly is so cute! I love the violet cheese mice, they're adorable. <3

And thank-you! I just noticed those measurements after posting that :doh but it's good to know they are some-what accurate! I don't usually like sewing for dolls without them here to test their clothing on, but I don't know how I'm going to pass the time without something to do. It's been nearly four years since I've ordered directly from a company O_O; I forgot how painful the wait is!

    29. Thanks! I suppose I could use flickr....I have a flickr account I just never post there!

Thanks! I just had to make it. This was my second try. I also made a banana costume for my indigo mouse, and a candy corn for my Ruth. It was a blast! :D

I never go from scratch just using measurements myself. I don't see how people do it! A maybe not so good suggestion, but you could always get a cheap Kelly doll (do they even make those any more?) and make the necessary measurement adjustments. They aren't going to be the exact measurements, but something similar enough that it might help. :) Waiting can be super painful!!! I usually buy my dolls with a layaway, which can be slow going, but worth it!

    30. pepperonipizza Do you have any group pics to share?

    31. Finally, photobucket resized this. Here's one shot of the whole group. Honeysuckle is the one who didn't get a costume. Luckily I survived her wrath! Percy (Bao) is the bat, Harold is the pumpkin, Blueberry is the banana, Webster (Ruth) is the candy corn. :)

    32. Those are all just too adorable!!! Nice work!

    33. Really awesome work there! I really like that Banana -costume on Blueberry, so adorable!

    34. Really cute group, pepperonipizza You certainly had the creativity going for those costumes. The "flying" fox cracks me up.

    35. Hello everyone!

I recently got a little kitty from Pipos. Her name is Alice and she has already gotten very fond of my Ringdoll boy David. I thought they look cute together and I thought I would show everyone :)

I hope it's allowed to post the picture even though only one of them is from Pipos.

    36. JAS101 Aws, looks like they already have a connection between them. Very cute pic! That dress and headband is really lovely looking on Alice.

    37. Thanks everyone for your comments on my Halloween costumes! :D

JAS101 - The CUTENESS! Alice is soooo adorable, and her attachment to David is very clear. :)

    38. JAS101 - she looks adorable! They look really happy with one another. ^_^

Happy Thanksgiving, to those that celebrate!
Part of our turkey day was spent thusly:
      My Tad loves MST3K.

    39. Bwhaha. Another MST-ie! Love it and your Tad, too. Great shirt--wherever did you find it (or did you make it?)

    40. aernath Tad looks really cute with those shoes! And gotta agree on t-shirt it's great.
Some father daughter moments with Velmu and Melina.

    41. Thank you very much for all the kind comments on Alice and David :whee: I am very happy to hear you like them. I will se if I can perhaps take a photo or two more of the other Pipos cats who keep Alice Company when she's not playing with David.

I really like the little dress Alice has and think Pipos made an amazing job with it! I just need to figure out how to best use it and make it work with her tail. Right now it's poking out hte back of the dress but I will see if I can find another way to make it work :kitty2

Also I love seeing everyone's beautiful pictures of your dolls. I think they all look amazing and I think it's great to see all the different ways the same sculpt can look depending on make up, clothes and resin color

    42. Eep, my cheesemouse shipped so I will be able to post pictures of her soon! She's already made it past Richmond, so she'll be here tomorrow or Thursday, I believe (hoping thursday, as I'll have the house to myself and can get good pictures o: )

    43. Yay! More mousie pictures!

    44. I just love the little cheese mice. They are so adorable.

    45. Congrats on your Cheese mouse, Saltcat! Your little critters are so cute, Aernath. I agree you just can't have enough. I have four. :sneaky And, I want more. I just wish they weren't so tedious to sew for. They are like hard and so easy at the same time, which sounds impossible, but its true. I've almost finished dressing my white Cheese mouse who finally developed a personality when on the brink of being moved out. Her name is Coconut Cream, and she has tons of personality now. And to think how long I've had that doll sitting totally blank! I'll share pics when her ensemble is complete. :)

    46. Oh man, do I hear you on sewing for them! It doesn't take long, but everything is so TINY! It takes a lot of concentration.
Congratulations on finding the inner personality of your little white cheesemouse! It will be good to see her join the antics of the others. ;)

    47. Oh wow! Love them. Two things, one, now I simply must get my hands on some of these adorable little ones and two I really really have to learn how to sew. Lots of motivation and beautiful pictures everyone!

    48. There are some things that are painful to try on the machine. Once I made a boat necked tunic over a tank top for Jr. PI - so small! I believe I did the sewing on the tank top (around the armscye and collar) by hand. It was too tiny for my hands and the machine! But, this size is still just too much fun to pass up.

I can't wait to get my little mousie all finished. I haven't had time to actually finish anything, but she's warm, at least, in bloomers and a mostly done dress. Maybe over the holiday hiatus I am taking, I can finish something up for her. :)

You should! They are so cute. Even if it takes you some time to cloth them. ;)

    49. They are hard to sew for. I made this dress for my daughter's Pixie and it was a pain. She's also wearing little bloomers underneath.

    50. Oh, but that's such an adorable dress! And it matches her colors! Perfect!

    51. hanahliton - that is so cute! Pixie is adorable. You did a fantastic job on the dress. :)

Coconut Cream wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! Her dress isn't finished - it does have bloomers, but the dress is open in the back. It'll have an apron, and also come candy decorations. But, she still wanted to say "Happy Holidays!"

    52. So many cute dolls!

      Here's my new girl.

    53. So cute! Congrats, Dakashy, she is adorable.
Love that tiny, tiny dress, PepperoniP. I am boggled every time I see your skills sewing in that scale. You, too, Hannaliten--super neat and clean lines. How do you all manage it? Mine always look like the cat sewed them (and she occasionally does try)

    54. Well, hello, new girl! Dakashy, she's so cute! My little Robin is a boy. ^_^ I thought he'd be rough-and-tumble, but he's actually fairly quiet and shy.

Pepperonipizza! That's a fab dress, even if it's not finished, it sure looks like it is! The perfect background too! I didn't think to do that with mine... :sweat

Here's Cheesemouse Kringle for the holidays. Late, but hey, I finally got it done! lol
There was supposed to be a belt, and possibly some pants, but this is all we ended up with.

    55. Cute mouse!!

Yeah the foxes are rather shy aren't they?

    56. pepperonipizza That dress looks good already! Cant wait to see all finished up.
Dakashy Your girl has really beautifull blue eyes!
aernath That looks like Santa Clauses jacket, so cute!
