PeaksWoods Waiting Room

@Rabbit-moon I'm pretty desperate because my friends are on vacation right now. Bus that connect our little villages are non existent and this friend of mine is working crazy hours and doesn't have the force to bring him to me.
I'm thinking of calling my father even if he lives in another city for help me with this .-. gosh

 

OMG! You poor thing! I totally sympathize. I would go crazy if I knew my doll was delivered and I couldn't get to it. I wish you good luck in getting your problem resolved. Maybe you should call your Dad. I know my Dad would want to help me out if I had a problem. Hang in there!

I never updated on the table, but I ordered a Dandy Kass in December with layaway completion in June 3rd. I finally got a shipping date of September 22nd-25th! It feels like the longest wait.....

 

Wow PeaksWoods must have a pretty long wait time right now if orders that were paid in April are only shipping now. I guess my hopes of seeing my girl by the end of November might be a pipe dream XD

 

Yeah, karringankat, I'm feeling your pain. I didn't realize the wait-times were so long for the PeaksWoods dolls.
Right now, I'm hoping my girl arrives by Christmas! *hoping-hoping-hoping*

 

Hello eveyone! Recently I asked Peakswoods for a shipping estimate and they've said Oct 14th-21st for my order placed in March (layaway ended in June). So, I thought I would add my order to the list and share that for those of you with similar order/layaway dates. Hope your waits are going well!

 

Hi guys! I'm placing an order to get my Vampire KoonieS soon, but the wait times are... o.o
Concerned for me and the group I'm in that are doing the 3+1 order. How long is that gonna take?

 

If you're paying in full, expect at least 4 months from what I'm seeing, if not 5. If you're doing a layaway, then add that time to it as PeaksWoods doesn't start making your dolls until the layaway is paid in full. They're gorgeous dolls and so worth the wait though ❤️

 

Alright thank you bunches!~ that's still a really long time, though... :X I've never waited for a doll before. At least it gives time to buy clothes, etc.

 

I'm waiting on an FOF Dorothy Vampire in Lavender Pink Skin, FOF Cheshire Goon in Normal, FOF Naomi in Normal, and an FOB Mia De Butterfly in Normal. All girls.

I got Vampire KoonieS, NS with like no extra because I'm cheap, and there was one FOF and two more FOB's~ It was a really cool idea, actually!~ four of us got together and payed the price of 3 dolls to get the four, so it was way cheaper. I couldn't pass up the deal cx

 

Yeah I just bought 3 dolls and am getting a 4th one free all for myself, lol x.x $990 ....I won't be able to pay that off for quite some time. It's going to be a very long wait.

I'm so excited! I actually screamed when I saw the shipping email, lol. It's been such a long wait but the hardest part for me is always those few days between 'shipping' and 'delivered'.

 

My doll arrived on Saturday and I am so impressed! Everything is such lovely quality, I'm absolutely in love! Peakswoods is 100% worth the wait and I'll definitely be ordering more dolls from them in the future, hopefully during the Christmas event. Wishing everyone still waiting luck, I can't wait to see all of your beautiful dolls as well.

 

Finally, all of my layaways are paid off! It's a great feeling!
Edit: Got a ship date for the doll I had on layaway from the PNW BJD EXPO!

I woke up to the best surprise ever this morning, my blue-grey Vampire Goldie has shipped!! This has been the second longest wait for a doll ever and I cannot wait to have her home! If I'm really lucky she'll even arrive before my doll meet next weekend

 

Wasn't planning on joining a waiting room, but I just paid off my Peakswoods layaway that I started in December 2015, and I'm just too excited! Seems like the waiting times have been kind of all over the place, so I'm not sure how long I should expect to wait. Though...I'm hoping they'll arrive before A-kon in June. Kass is my sister's and Kasspio is mine.

 

Forgot to add that i paid my girl off in November, hope i soon get her

 

I forgot to add myself to the list when I made the original order, but I paid off the rest of my layaway early today, yay!

 

YAY!!! My FOF Vampire Leo (girl) finally arrived! *Does the happy dance*

She's awesome! (But I am so glad to be out of this Waiting Room!)

I would very much want to buy a doll from PeaksWoods, but the bigger dolls are all sold out. Do they have a regular pre-order period like e.g. Switch?
Do they have basic dolls? It's just so confusing because they are all sold outfit. ..

@Bamboobee PeaksWoods has events were they sell their dolls - like round Christmas there were those beautiful "Monster" dolls. Now there are just the tinies right? They used to sell basic MSD and Yosd dolls on a daily base - Fofs and Fobs but they decided they would sell them during events as well to keep the moulds in good condition. So you will just have to be patient - there might be a FoB Mia still available on DenverDolls, at least it was like that a couple of days ago.

I just got a shipping notice for the doll I paid off towards the end of February. She's in lavender pink but I ordered her with no faceup.

 

Ah that is great - I payed mine off beginning of March so maybe she will be shipped soon - she is a FOB Lady Bee without faceup as well.

 

Just updated the waitlist. I paid off my Vampire Dotty Muse on April 29th and started a layaway for Rosemii Blossom in Pink Punch skin on May 1st - I hope I can pay her and my Hunky Dory off soon!

I've wanted Mori Moth and VP Leo for...2 years? I think, and I had fallen in love with VP Dotty Muse during her initial release, so it was just a matter of picking the last doll to get hehehe. For as much as its cost me, it really was a good deal, and peakswoods is just a great company to deal with♥

Dandy Blow Head arrived today! No faceup yet, but I'm hoping to get him one as soon as my chosen faceup artist opens up for commissions again.

I ordered Stevie's head- I plan on putting him on a Pureneemo body. The Pureneemo WS matches really well with Peakswoods Normal Skin. It will be a while before I get him though - I just finished layaway for a Peakswoods Troy. Once I get him and have it modded it - I'll definitely post pics!

Hello! I made my last layaway payment for Vampire Dorothy (Emerald Castle) on New Year's Eve. She's my first full-set doll and my first YoSD; I'm very excited. *^ ^*

 

I never put my wait in here, but I finished paying off my Dotty Muse in November and I'm in the wait for her. I just worked out if their estimate of 60-70 working days is accurate she should arrive some time in February. The status says before shipment, but I'm assuming that's the status after payment is accepted.

 

My Fanta 16 Wonder ist arrived to me. But she needs a face up and clothes, wig.

 

My doll status says pending, which it's been at since my payment was accepted. I'm guessing before shipment is after pending? I'm not sure.

 

The order would say both “pending” and “before shipment” at the same time. Both my Wake Up Lottie and my Little Lottie have both statuses on different screens. It will say these until the doll ships

 

Hello everyone-- may I ask what the typical wait time looks like from Peakswood for a full doll, no faceup? I'm hoping to snatch a dandy shaia when they go up on sale....
as much as I would like to get a faceup, I probably would opt out due to the long wait time on that account. xD I'm too impatient for this hobby.

 

@Fate my first doll from them took 6-7 months, but I did have Suntan, hand blush, and faceup as well. I would say the wait is pretty consistent at 5-6 months though. They get overwhelmed with orders and then have tons of layaway orders backed up as well. I would 100% say they’re worth the wait though!

 

Damn. In it for the long haul! I'm still definitely going for him! But I was just curious if I could expect him earlier not not. May end up being worth just getting the faceup then. :P

 

Hello again! Still waiting, and I'm just a little concerned. I put in my last 3 layaway payments on Dec. 30-31st 2017, so about a month and a half ago. On my account page at Peak's Woods, all three "orders" are still listed as pending. I got order summaries and payment confirmation emails for all three of them, but it's kinda worrying me that nothing seems to be happening.
Should I email and ask what's going on, or is this typical? This is my first time ordering straight from a manufacturer, so I just don't really know what to expect.
