So close to starting a new thread! The large PW discussion has been really hopping lately, so I figured I'd add my two cents here, too. I wonder if PW will be retiring these little guys as well, like they are retiring the Dandy boys and FoC/AB lines. I'd be in trouble if they offered a similar event--with special skin tones!

allington your girl is absolutely stunning!!! I hope they don't discontinue the FoF line, I can't afford an event at the moment, and I'd love to purchase Hucky some day. Plus that sun tan skin color is amazing and I might need it XD

 

I also need a Hucky!! @__@ I've always liked Hucky but all they were all gone by the time I finally decided to buy at the Peak's Woods table at Dollism NY, so I came home with a Cheshire Goon instead.

I have a Rabbit Goon, and i'm looking for some eyes for him. The recommended eyes on the site seem a little big. Are there any comparison pictures around with different sizes?

 

I think they send them with 16mm eyes???Though the website says 14mm acrylic eyes, I think it's more like 16mm glass eyes because the ones they came in were definitely too big.
My Leo is using SOOM silicone eyes, 14mm and they look nice, my Lady Alice I'm not sure if she's using 14 or 12mm because I have a box full of glass eyes and they are all 14 and 12mm and I took some of those to try out on her.

Here's Leo, please ignore the 2 different color eyes, I was trying which one looked best XD (both 14mm silicone)
Amazingly enough, I didn't like the glass eyes on him of any size I had. First time I end up loving silicone eyes more

 

I'm also using 14mm in my Leo. I don't really have a picture handy though, sorry.

 

Well rabbit goon has half closed eyes so it probably looks different with the same eyes as Leo. I find half closed eyes so tricky to work with. I would definitely would go for flat eyes (no dome), but other than that I'm not sure. 14mm eyes probably work

 

I have a Rabbit waltz who currently have some 14mm eyes in but they still seem big. I would recommend to use 12mm with half closed eyes

I have 14mm in my Cheshire Goon right now, and she has open eyes, but I think I really would prefer 12mm for her, because the pupil in the average 14mm looks huge paired with the upper eyeliner, and even bigger if you use dark-colored eyes.

I like the 12mm a little better, since they looks slightly more realistic. I hope this helps!

My point-and-shoot is so old my cell phone has better resolution... but now it's the only other camera I have. D: Aside from that, I don't have very many spring clothes for my FoF! I'd better make something quick!

I got told my Pinocchio's head will come back from the face up artist on Monday (first they sad next thursday/friday, but then they got a call and they said monday) and he will be shipped on Monday. I'm so excited, my first Doll from PeaksWoods I really like their dolls for a long time but never got one (sadly) ;-;

 

Oh you are in for a treat Shchel! ^^ Pinocchio is SOOO cute! I hope you will share lots of photos of him. There doesn't seem to be a lot of Pinnochios out there sadly.

It's sad Pinocchio is a cutie but I never saw many photos either none of the Marionette Version only the human one...

I think I've only read in here that one girl ordered the marionette version it is sad indeed. But maybe he was a little too special for people, or maybe PW are just not "agressive" enough with their promotion of sales? :/

It will be blue-grey skin yes I have a pastel colored theme in mind and already have everything here so that I can take photos with the finished doll then.

I think the Marionette Version was too special and Peakswoods maybe too unkown? Or the promotion as you said... I didn't even recognized they resold all the dolls until I saw it in end of December almost at the last day of the sale DX

 

Hi as some Of you have been talking about pinocchio i'd received mine last month but he doesn't have anything definitive yet and I have been hesitant about showing him.

He's human pinocchio in blue gray skin and my first yo-sd size doll i absolutely love him, his wig is poorly made by me and also his clothes and the face up is the one from peak's wood here's a (Also poor) picture of him [emoji173]️

Daepus, his size is kinda wrong for me too, all my crew is 1/3 size and some 1/4 so this is new for me but i love his portable size! And i would love to have more of them

It's interesting how the natural the face up looks on the blue/grey skin!

 

I know someone who has a Pinocchio on layaway! He's going to be blue-gray human version, though we both thought the Marionette version was really cute! The wooden nose faceup is amazing!

 

aawhh congrats to that friend with a pinocchio! does he have the marionette faceup or just the normal human faceup?^^

 

No faceup, actually... I think she wanted to save a bit on the layaway and plans on sending him out for a custom faceup later.
