At Goga, they were definitely Hucky. I was very fortunate...the NS girl got to join Troop Tiny after Goga was over.

Right now she's in the brown one, not sure if I need to get her a mohair or not.

 

She's a Hucky...one of the four display models they used when they were taking pre-orders. She has a different faceup than the released ones ended up with. I was incredibly lucky that they let me adopt her before they went back to Korea from Gogadoll. She's been modeling for me ever since.

Is the Christmas edition this year or last year's?

We ended up keeping the brown wig...I think it suits her well

 

Hi there. No vampire Hucky here but I'm happy to show off my LE Hucky from PW's latest event I am totally in love!! I also can't recommend PW more highly. Very professional and such nice people to deal with. Hope I don't have PW habit coming on... I'd love a boy Hucky too tho...

I've added Hucky to my "want" list But I would also like to know about the posing on these dolls. I haven't yet seen one in person, so can anyone tell me how well do they balance or hold a pose?

 

Okay, my Lumi (Naomi) is home. She is a solid little doll. I like her little body . She stands well, she can sit without leaning back and kneel well. She can sit on her butt with her knees facing inward and feet facing outward (sorry, can't remember the name of it). But in order to change her hands, you have to put in s-hooks. I'm waiting on mine now.

@Dew Drops; Sadly I can't help you with that comparison, but I know Minifees are at least well known for their great posing, so I'm not sure which would be better!

@periwinklestars; Awwww, I can't blame you, she is so adorable. I adore her in that light wig. PW faceups are just gorgeous.

@clochette; Hee hee, Kiki is too cute with her little fists. x3 I love the way that dress looks! Did you make it?

 

I did, thanks...poor Kiki only has fists, she was their preorder display doll before they went into production and that's all they had ready at that point. She doesn't have a box or anything, she just hitch-hiked home with me and the rest of the herd.

One day I'll have to order her regular hands, maybe jump into a group order.

 

I'm wondering about the poseability too, since their arms and legs appear to be single jointed? I would totally love to bring one of these tinies home with me someday ^^

Here's my little cutie Lucretia, she's a Vampire Hucky She arrived to me about a week ago.



She's my first doll from Peaks Woods and I'm so happy with her ;__; I love the sculpt and FOF body.

He used to be a Pop Moth, but yo-sd size was better for his character ^^

I also really like the FOF body... The posing is good, especially on one leg pose or "taking a step forward"-pose, and also poses that fit for a little kids are easy so I've been really happy with the FOF body!

 

I bought a white rabbit goon today in the event. I also bought gift points so my total payment for her was only 292$ =)

i have never wanted a yo-sized doll before, i feel like i'm going crazy, but i want the entire tan line they have up right now! there's just no way though.... haha

Hi all, I just discovered this thread--what a great bunch of photos--so totally inspired! I'm a huge PW fan, and I have a few of their tinies. I'm wanting a Vampire Hucky badly, and checking out this thread is NOT helping!

I have Lady Alice, Naomi and Hucky, and just ordered a tan Rabbit Goon and a white Cheshire Goon head. (I have a bunch of FOBs, FOCs and AB girls in my collection, too. Serious problem, LOL!)

I just adore PW--and they are super flexible on lay-away. If you like their tan--you should totally go for it. It's not very often that it's offered, and I always regret it when I don't get them.

and yes I definitely just caved and got a tan rabbit goon as well... I hadn't ever paid attention to PW before but now that I've taken a good look at them I'm afraid I REALLY love them!? haha, their tinies especially are just absurdly cute.

If this is your first PW, you're in for a ride, LOL. (But maybe it's just me. Don't look at how many I own!) I'm excited to see what their new bodies look like.

I actually decided to not order the tan Hucky I was thinking of... I realized that PW has had quite yellow-ish tan, which is something that I don't personally like that much so I was quite unsure about it >.< But I'm still very much looking forward to seeing the tanned beauties here, be sure to post pictures everyone once your dolls arrive! :3

 

@safir: yeah I was a bit worried about that as well, but I just took the plunge... we'll see! some of the photos of past tan dolls on their site do look pretty yellow/orange in their promo photos, but the current limiteds don't look too orangey to me, so I'm hoping they'll be nice in person too! I guess we'll see in a few months...

 

In my experience--from other tans--PW can vary in their tan color quite a bit. Their initial first run of tan looked very yellow. But their latest tan (which I think was Suntan Shaia? Maybe? In the FOC line?) was very lovely, and looked just like her promo. I have her, and she's great. Also, they tend to stay right on color as they age. I also have a tan Briana (also FOC), who is similar to Shaia, only perhaps a tad more yellow (and was when she first arrived). I think they have tried to make their tans a bit darker and less orange as the years have past.

From my past orders, you pretty much get what you see from their website--which is cool. (Especially from face-ups!) And they are so cool about ear piercing, eye color, and face-ups, too.)

 

Bumping this up because I'm thinking of getting a Peak's Woods tiny. Any more info or pictures, etc?

 

This thread is so quiet! I got a Chi Chi last week. Her name is Willow and she is a ghost. I love her! I plan on getting a Vampire Hucky soon too.

Oh wow! The first photo of ChiChi! I absolutely ADORE her. I was wanting one, and thinking I needed the one with the regular face-up, but after seeing yours, RubyHeart, I love her ghost-like expression, I'm all confused! She's is so cute!

My tan Rabbit Goon is here, but I have no boy clothes for him. I'm waiting on an outfit from Angell-Studio, which should ship shortly. Then, he won't have to be bare-naked. Poor little guy is freezing!

Thanks alington. she's the unique one in my collection but the moment I saw her I just new I needed her. I had a wig and eyes ordered for her before I'd even bought her. DDE had a boy one in stock and I was about to surrender and but that one and dress it as a girl then this girl popped up on the marketplace with the right skin colour, body type and faceup. It was fate!

Haha trust me, I think I'm worse. Company events are the worst for me. Free stuff breaks me. And also in stock dolls at DDE or the marketplace. If DDE had a vampire Hucky in stock right now I'd be doomed! Haha.

Hey, there, wanted to know about the single jointed body...how well do these dolls pose? Sould I look to hybridize instead?

 

If you are looking at an older version body from the marketplace--possibly. They stand really well, though! I think my oldest FOF is about 5 now, and she has never been restrung. She still is as tight as she was the first day I brought her home. My one complaint is that her wrists are a little stiff. But the new bodies seem to be much better, even though the joints don't look much different. I love the new bodies, since even with the new jointing, they haven't given up their rock-solid feel.

Compared to the FoB body, though, I think the original FoF is pretty good, though.

 

Anyone else excited to see the new FoF dolls?
