I was able to by a Pinocchio (Marionette-Version) short before the order period was over, I didn't recognized that they were offering him again! I need a looong layaway but I'm happy that I can add him to my crew

 

Congrats Shchel!!! I think you are the first person here waiting for the marionette version? I could be wrong, but still, awesome choice

My first boy is so close, yet so far. I'm buying an unpainted rabbit goon from a friend here in town, and i've been slowly paying him off. I have just $120 left, plus the cost of her sending him off for a faceup and i'm so excited. He's just to adorable

 

I´m so happy!!! i finished paying my pinocchio boy earlier!! and they just let me add the face up (Which i have to pay this week)

I don´t want to ask them for usual time of wait, so i ask here: how much do i have to wait now? i´m mentally prepared for a long period ...

I just recieved shipping notice for my Rabbit Waltz girl this morning.
I have only waited 1,5 months and was only expecting a shipping notice in mid or end feb. so i have nothing for my girl right now >.<

I'm currently waiting for a wig for my Leo, I decided to get him white short hair. I was going to buy him a dark brown wig but all my dolls have either brown or black hair and since I was between brown and white I went with white. I think he will look great!
I also been thinking naming him Fiyero (I love wicked XD), but I don't know yet

I also made a necklace as welcome gift for Ailene, my Lady Alice

It seems from my experience that the smaller dolls (FoFs, at least) ship more quickly than other items--and I think Pan mentioned it's because they tend to sell very well in Korea and Japan, so they often make a lot of them. I hate to be a bother, but i was wondering where the best place to get shoes/clothes/hats/furniture and etc for these little guys is.

 

Anything Yo sized fits well. Stuff like dollheart or volks fit great.
Furniture I'm not sure. I know dollmore has some.

 

for hats you could check any etsy store that sells yosd sized hats. I got 2 from Godolls that fit great and they are super cute

 

My little Rabbit Waltz girl just arrived in Denmark and landed in the customs. >.<
I really hope the danish customs will have mercy on me so that i don't have to pay a loud of money in order to get her home!

 

Good luck with customs!! I'm always scared of them opening my packages, and they have done that twice already X(!! but luckily tiny dolls boxes aren't that big so they tend to let them pass XD! Though PW sent mine in a much bigger box than needed

Hi, everyone! A couple weeks ago I ordered a Dorothy, and now I'm looking to get her a couple outfits so she won't need to wear my DOB Libra's clothes when she arrives. Does anyone know if the clothes offered on Dollmore for "Dear Doll" fit? The measurements are close, except for a centimetre or two difference in the shoulders and waist, and nominal differences otherwise, so I imagine they'll fit in most places, but does anyone have any actual experience trying to put their Peakswood lovelies in these clothes?

 

Hmm in personal experience "a centimetre ot 2" is a huuuge difference for a 26cm sized doll! (Even for an SD it might make the fit horrendous tbh). I haven't seen Dear Doll at all so I have no exp with them but yeah...

 

Well, I figure since it's the Dear Dolls that are bigger, then I can take the things in a little. That being said, I think I might just have to give up on finding stuff on Dollmore and look for clothing I know will fit for sure, which is pretty much from everywhere else. The reason I bought a girl in this size is because all the cute clothes for dolls this size are intended for girls, it seems. At least when I'm looking. I have a hard time finding cute stuff for my DOB Libra boy.

 

Yeah taking in is always an option I also found that there are sooo many cute clothes for Yo sized girls and most are standard fit
So far I've tried Volls and Dollheart and both were a perfect fit. Volks do adorable boy stuff too though

 

I got a dress from Sunnybobo on etsy and some stuff at Alice's Collections and they are a bit big on my girl. Not that I mind too much, since it doesn't look bad, but I was starting to think that PW tinies run on the slimmer side (?)

 

I just paid customs on my Rabbit Waltz. Ended up having to pay 706 DKR (about $106) which is the biggest amount of money i have paid in customs to get a YOSD home ^^''

I had to send the information about the order to the customs before they could figure out what i had to pay. I think we in denmark have the highest customs :/

That sucks!! I once had to send the payment info to customs for a doll, but they decided to wait a month to release it anyways (besides making me pay a whole lot of money).
At least you didn't have to wait much, and I hope you get her tomorrow.

Do they not fit Barbie clothes?

 

Lavandula, no unfortunately they are thicker and have a very different body structure from Barbie. The only thing that could fit is very stretchy loose tops maybe? Generally, Barbie clothes fit better on some slim YoSDs but not really on the standard sized ones.

Thanks so much! Kawachu is right - they are a completely different body type and too "chubby" for Barbie clothes.
