I love these girls!

Side note, does anyone know when PW opens up orders for their MSDs? or is it random?

 

@Fawne Peak’s Woods operates based on the current limited releases! But they will release certain things based on their work load. For example the Christmas event was supposed to release all the FoB for order in basic skin tones alongside the full set releases, they had too much on their plate and ended up only offering Little Lottie, R Dotty Muse, and Little Yeru.

But they seem to be catching up because they offered most (if not all?) their SD lines these last couple months with Mona’s release! So keep your eyes peeled for hints of an FoB release. Its kind of random, but if you follow them they seem to rotate around the size lines they offer throughout the year.

I just ordered a FOB Little Lottie from their latest event and I'm so excited! The moment I saw her, I fell in love!

 

Congrats!! She's such a cutie! I'm going to see if I can swing a Suntan Little Lottie to be Mini Chai (my Wake Up Lottie!) But I wont know for sure until the end of the event what options did you order yours with?

 

I just got her in their normal resin with a small bust hehe, but I've asked for them to do a faceup like their FOB Mia. Goodness I can't wait!

@sayakami I'm so excited!! Lottie (the FOC one) was one of the first dolls that I saw that even got me into the hobby years and years ago When PW came out with this smaller one I couldn't afford it at the time, but now... It's basically my christmas gift!

Lottie is such a pretty sculpt. I do have a FOC Lottie at home since many years ago and I still love her.

I did order an emerald green Vampire Dotty Muse a couple days ago. Couldn't resist her sweet vampire face and those tiny teeth ...she is so darn cute!

 

@Trullerie Exciting! What options did you order her with? I wish they had their moonlight grey resin available, I would've loved to have ordered a Vampire Dotty Muse in that colour

But I'm happy because I ordered a Romantic Koonies whose character I've had planned for a while.

 

@sayakami I ordered her with big bust, basic face-up and a blue cutie wave wig. Oscar eyes too. But I will probably use those eyes for another doll. I passed on outfit, shoes and special parts. I have other outfit plans for her

Oh, moonlight grey is so beautiful too. If that resin option was available I would probably had to buy two Dotty

@Trullerie I ordered her during this Halloween part 2 event so I won't be seeing her until next year

But that'll give me time to buy her outfit and wig (I already have a pair of Oscar Doll eyes ready for her).

Koonie and Mia

 

Does anyone have a Little Lottie with a custom (non-Peakswoods) faceup?

I received mine last year, and while I think her face sculpt is cute, the body is so much taller (and thinner) than my other girls.. And I'm not sure if I will keep it, as it sticks out quite a lot. I think I want to keep her head and make a hybrid, but Id love to see what others have done with their Little Lotties..

 

I just bought punky beetle in the blue skin and I'm so excited! I've actually had a wig (or two) saved for a fantasy colored girl for a year now and I do love punky beetle.

Otherwise I've been sewing for my other girls, they are just so pretty it is super motivating.

 

@Waflicka, she is positively stunning in that gorgeous gown! I love the fabric. It’s so wonderful that you’re able to sew for your dolls. I can see that they would be quite inspiring, and what a perfect way to develop their characters exactly as you see them in your mind.

My Dotty arrived today!
Like I promised. Here's the first of all those pics....

 

I need some help with resin matching, i iavve seen that pw has a peachy skin colour and for a foc lottie head i would like to buy a proper body for her, it has similar skin like Fairyland or maybe Luts and Myou doll but not quit sure about it, any ideas? Btw shes normal skin

 

I am also wondering about resin matching--specifically MYou. Does anyone know which of their skintones would work best? Normal or normal pink?

 

@Lenola - PW and FL aren't a very good match in normal skin, PW is more peachy and FL is a light pinkish color.
I know you didn't ask about Tan dolls but Luts real skin brown and the Peak's Woods Suntan, are IMO a pretty good match, not perfect but close enough in coloring to look natural. PW is again slightly more peachy tan and Luts RSB is slightly more olive in tone.

I'm not sure about Myou, I'm sorry, I haven't heard of them so I'll need to go check them out.

Little Yeru is so adorable!! I'm totally in love. Are there any agents for PW besides DDE? I dont think DDE does preorders anymore...

 

Cydril: Not that I know of. I have quite a few PW's, all from DDE - it's disappointing they wouldn't help the last time I asked.

I just put in a layaway order for an FOB Romi yesterday !! I'm so excited for her, she's so cute! I'll also be getting an event head, but I don't know which sculpt yet, I just know it's an FOB.

Anyway, I ordered her in Pink Punch skin, and I was wondering if anyone had any Peak's Woods dolls in that skintone? I haven't seen many pictures of them, and I'd really love to! I think it's a lovely fantasy color.

 

@stardustguts - Romi is so cute! Congrats on your second doll! I have a doll in pink punch and I love it. My Briana on right is in pink punch. My Knox on left is in blue gray skin, just to keep it in perspective.

 

@faireva They are both so pretty! I love how the pink punch skin is sort of almost like a regular skin tone you'd see on a human, just with a more pink hue if that makes sense? It's gonna be perfect for the character I'm envisioning as my romi!

I put in an order for a Little Yeru head. Im hoping I can hybrid her on a body thats not so tall. Shes going to be the sister for my DollMore Latte

 

I'm looking for a body to hybrid my Dotty Muse head on Anyone know of something close in colour and neck compatibility? Does not have to be perfect, I can always blush to match and mod a little bit.
Edit: I forgot to mention she's normal skin! Sorry!

 

Its been 5 days and my order on the PW site says 'pending'. Is that the normal thing for it to say? The money came out of my account...

@Cydril Little Yeru is super cute! For my extra head, I’m using a Doll Family H 42cm girl body ver. II. I’n gonna need to mod the head a bit as it’s not a perfect fit, but I just fell in love with the aesthetics of that body!

Hi, i’m not sure if this could be asked here but may i ask if anyone had made a hybrid between a Peakswoods FOB head and Fairyland Minifee body?

 

Wow, she is absolutely stunning! I love her lavender wig! Who did her faceup?

I just paid off my Little Rosemii in lavender pink skin today. I'm so excited! I hope she will be done quickly

 

I order a vampire little Yeru in the green skin and with make up. Very excited.
She is my first ever resin Bjd.
A bit expensive for a first one but she looks gorgeous.

 

I know, I got her too! Such a cutie, I couldn't pass her up. That green skin is really interesting. I've already been trying to decide what colors she'll look best in and stuff.

This is my first Peakswoods MSD, does anyone know how well they fit in Leekeworld 6/7 wigs? Although I always assume it's probably a 7/8 size I know leekeworld has a generous fit and I already have a bunch of them on hand. It would be amazing if I could squeeze her head into some of them when she gets here. :P

 

Hey guys, just wondering if any of you own a Peakswoods Yeru MSD(FoB size) and if you could share your experience with wigs.
I'm trying to put together a wardrobe and whatnot while I wait for my girl to arrive and was wondering if she could *maybe* squeeze into Leekeworld 6/7 wigs or if she's a hard 7/8. Her head looks kind of gigantic in the pictures. :P

Thanks so much for your help. I know I could just wait and see, but it gives me something to do while I wait. :P

 

I don't have pictures nor this specific doll but I own three other FOBs from peakswoods and they a definite 7/8 for leeke wigs.

 

Ok, that's good to know, thanks. Time to find some 7/8 wigs for me then. :P

 

I finally received my mini that I ordered from Peaks Woods last september! I had the doll on layaway, and unfortunately due to COVID, I had to move back with my parents a few hours away right before the doll was delivered. My boyfriend was holding her for me up until I could visit him, which was last friday!

I got FOB Romi in Pink punch sink, and a normal skin little yeru head as an event gift! I can't wait to post an unboxing/review of them later!

 

I really look forward to see pictures of your Romi in pink.
