Peakswoods style of faceups are so perfect. I never would have guessed the red eyelashes were painted.

 

Thought I'd share a photo of my Rosemii, as Trini from the original Power Rangers.

 

Here is my boy Rosemii Blosom, he has the faceup of Dandy Kass "on stage" I´m very happy with him!, now I have to get him a body, I am thinking of youth Doll Chateau, so I hope he makes a match with that body
I had junior delf body of Luts for him, but it didn´t fit, the neck is very long and thick and the color of the resin is very pale compared to the PW normal skin, which by the way is a very beautiful color, I didn´t know it
Meanwhile I´ll continue trying eyes and wigs until I find his style

 

He loos so cute! I didn't even realize he was a Rosemii - the faceup does magical things lol!

 

Did you guys see Peakswoods is holding a photo contest relay! So many dolls to win !
Also, new FoBs! FoB versions of Lottie and Yeru and a romantic version of Dotty Muse!

 

@paxita - He is so super gorgeous!! I'm really surprised and delighted how wonderful Rosemii looks as a boy.

@krystina - What fun & exciting news! I love the idea of a photo relay!

 

Am I missing it? Is there a picture of the new fob gals anywhere ?

@skyealloway As far as I know, they haven't posted any pictures of the new FOB ladies yet. I suspect we'll start seeing them once the actual event starts (Dec 15).

 

@skyealloway ahh sorry I should have mentioned it is just an announcement. I can't wait to see them though - a mini version of Yeru and Lottie I typically collect SD sized dolls but Peakswoods minis are just so tempting. I might start looking at collecting them if they ever release boys.

 

I definitely want the Lottie, but I was hoping tan would be available I want her to be a mini of the same character however the special skins Pink Punch and Moonlight Grey are beautiful on their own, I may spring for her and just change up the character to accommodate

I got around to styling Vaughn today (with his mini pompadour!) since I'm going to a doll meet tomorrow. I imagined him as working as a motorcycle repair mechanic while dressing him up. :-)

 

O he looks so cool! Love the pompadour - he really does look like a biker guy Also, just saw Oscar's hat pictures SOOOO CUTE I CANT STAND IT!

I took Vaughn and my Briana to the meet today, here's their photo, there was a gorgeous Kasspio at the meet as well in Suntan skin!

 

The wig on Vaughn is incredible. Did you style it yourself? What is the name of the wig??? Best boy wig I've ever seen.

I styled a brown fur wig with a toothbrush to get this look! The specific wig I got was this one but I'm sure you could use any fur wig as long as it wasn't too fluffy. I used a wig cap too as fur wigs tend to slip off.

 

They have the new FoB girls up! So cute!

Hi everyone! I am new in this thread I've been in love with Peak's woods dolls for a long time, and finally I will get a second-hand FOC lottie very soon
I want to get a Crobidoll wig for her but I'm not sure about the size, since I've heard that crobidoll wigs are quite small. Should I get a 9-10 size?

 

Welcome! And congrats on your first Peakswoods! Lottie is one of the cutest sculpts in my opinion - she has got the best cheeks
I think she would wear 8/9 size - I don't see that Peakswoods website carry 9/10 wigs so I don't think any of them (even the older sculpts) would fit 9/10 wigs. All the dolls I have from Peakswoods (and ones I've had before) wear 8/9.
Two of my boys (Dandy Bella and Dandy Shaia) wear Crobi size 8. The wigs stretch and look perfect on them. I did order Crobi 9/10 the first time and it is waaay too big. Hope this info helps you on your quest

 

My Wakeup Cue decided on this look. His name is Verse. I still don't know what he is.

For Christmas I treated myself to a Rosemii that was in stock at DDE. She just shipped out today!

@tati-chan SD13 size usually fits, I think Nine9style should work.

@SteamWitch I like Verse's unique look and detailed faceup, Wakeup Cue is not a sculpt I've seen very often.

No problem! And great choice for wigs - I think Crobi is my favorite for Peakswoods dolls. I've had wigs from Leeke and Switch and I always go back to Crobi because the fitting is so perfect.

Congrats on getting Rosemii! Can't wait to see her here on DoA.

Vaughn's photo shoot was done in my garage and the background is some of my artwork (I thought it looked kinda like graffiti). I wish I had an SD sized motorcycle to go with him, that would be perfect! One can dream anyways!

This relay really pushed me to get back into photographing my dolls. I'm really excited about doing the love triangle saga too! It's extra fun and rewarding to take photos with a story in mind. And I think it'll keep me motivated to keep shooting. Thanks!

@faireva your artwork is incredible- I can never do anything like that. I’m so terrible with colors what medium is it (for the background) is it oils? I agree about being inspired. I started some fan art and plan on plastering on doa for fun.

 

@krystina It's crayon & watercolor paint. The wax from the crayon repels the watercolors so I put them on first & then painted over it.

Nope. All my girls are NS. I love fantasy colors but they don’t tend to stay in my crew, so all NS for me.

 

I have a wake up Lottie and would say her head runs a bit big. Maybe it's the shape but I find wigs that fit my other girls look odd on her. For example, I have a crobi doll wig where the sides don't exactly meet the ears:



So if your going with 8/9, I'd try veering towards 9 versus the 8. Otherwise, it may not lay right. I personally have my Lottie in a 9/10 Crobi right now... Ill take photos tomorrow to show the fit.

By the way, can anyone tell me how much is the expected waiting time for Peak's Woods right now? I am very curious about it

 

@tati-chan generally expect 4-6 months. At the Rosemii Blossom release there were dolls making it home in the stated wait time, but Peaks Woods gets a large work load easily. My Wake Up Lottie in Suntan just arrived home in November when I ordered in April. But there was a worker injury in there too. Overall I say mentally prepare for 6 months, but it can be done in less (I know that’s not really a solid answer but they’re worth any wait!).

Alright, I took a few more photos for you. These are both 9/10 Crobi Doll Wigs and I'd say they fit her very well. They pop right on her head without a lot of fussing but are not big enough to shift around. The Crobidoll 8 does fit but it takes some effort to get it on and not all the styles will reach her ears.

Question for Lolita body owners: Does clothing specifically made for Volks Graffiti girls fit well? What about shoes? PW says they may open orders for the Lolita again in March, so I want to be ready.

 

Hey everyone! I am a new doll user and peakswood is so far my favorite company after browsing soo many dolls on the web. My favorite doll has been rosemii blossom. I got her in the pink punch color and instantly fell in love when I was looking at her faceup pictures. Her gorgeous faceup and beauty marks were what attracted me to her. She is currently still in her coffin box I still am in process of buying a doll stand and making clothes for her haha!
I loved her so much I bought Rosemii black alice version! I am getting her ln wednesday since I adopted her from someone in the US! I will also try and do a faceup on her!
These dolls have the most intricate designs. I love love love their expressive sultry dark faces!
I really want to buy goldie in white or normal skin sometime! Still trying to wait for someone to let me adopt her! ❤️

Actually Ive noticed this too 0.0 i put a 8-9 wig on my rosemii blossom and it doesnt let the hair cover her ears. The bangs do some wonky wide thing fanned out shape, and its really tough getting them on :0

 

Had several of my girls clamouring for new looks (its been over 6 months since they got put in their last outfits )
