@finn Yes! the boy Dandys are addictive (at least for me hehehe) their faceups are awesome. Despite being a collector for many years, I met PW recently, maybe three years ago, and when my first doll from them arrived, a Dandy Tristan White Rabbit I was very impressed by his beauty and quality, the faceup was so perfect that I could not believe it! and every doll that I bought from them has been the same, they are worth it

My Black Rabbit Kass arrived today from Dolk. I just love him. I thought I was getting him in white but he came in normal resin. He was an "instock" item so I guess I get what I get but I really don't care because he is beautiful. I don't have a name for him yet and I am not sure how I am going to style him. I just dressed him very quickly for a photo to share. I am not sure I like the eye lashes but I am going to sit on it before making any changes as they are so unified with the face-up (which is a work of art). This is my first successful attempt to share a photo on DOA since like 2009 - thank you to @Ravenwolf for some tips she shared about uploading photos from Flicker without which I would have his picture up.

 

Congrats on your Black Rabbit Kass; he is beautiful! His faceup looks different in normal skin - I really like it, it looks unique. Very handsome and he looks good in that outfit.

I am really excited to see these Gio pics rolling in. He is way more beautiful than I expected. I had a huge personal battle deciding between the Dandy Vampire Geo and the Vampire Kasspio ). There were not many pics of Gio on the internet yet so I wound up ordering Kasspio along with Vampire Rosemii in blue grey with Peak’s Woods face ups (brother and sister) but Gio is next in line if the chance to get him comes up again. Pics of the actual dolls are so helpful in making a decision.

@paxita - have you tried cloths on him yet? Would love to see him dressed and hear about what brands/sizes he is fitting into. He us so seriously beautiful.

 

@caddyvamp I haven't had time yet to try on any clothes but his body reminds me of Luts SSFD (tall, with defined musculature, but thin). I have for him a Sadol's uniform for SSDF to see how he fits that size. I'll try this week!
Hmm I think that the clothes for size 70cm should fit

 

I got my Gio a couple of days ago but things have been busy (we're moving later this month). I hope to get a chance to take nicer than cell pics soon, but for now that's all I have. Here's my boy Sequoia Laurie Andrews on Instagram: “With flash for glitter! My Gio finally came in! I had to wait a while to do his faceup because the weather was too bad, but it was such a lovely sculpt to paint (I'm not 100% happy with it but I like the rest too much to redo it just yet..)

Thank youuuu, their stories aren't connected but they do look cute next to each other *0*! Ahaha thank you, out of all the brows I've ever painted these are my favourite to date. The reason I don't want to redo the face is I love these brows

would anyone know wether the peeks wood dandy body is still avalable or wether they only do strict limited edition and also where in the world would i get one x3 i have litterally falled in love with that 61cm slender body its so so cute

 

I *think* they do sell the body separately and I *think* they only do it during ordering periods? Those range from a week to a month. They will be having a summer event wdebuting a new white rabbit boy so that may be a chance to get one (or 3 lol!) not sure if they’ll open orders for all boy during that time though

His name is Mewt and he is the Prince of a moon-bunny race called "the Usagi." Sailor-Moon and FFIV inspired Faceup is by Memento Mori. I'll have more pics later, y'all have to see his hands they are beautiful!

Where do you guys normally buy clothes to fit the peakswoods bodies? He will be on the 61CM body If it helps.I'm always cautious because pants don't /always/ fit right (Learned that early on with my delf boys .They have some bootys on them. Lol!)

 

I have some clothes from rrabbit. Their pants seem a bit big for SD13 size (even for the new bodies).
Legendoll.net has a huge assortment of clothes from different clothing lines. I have a couple of pairs of trousers from "Bears." They're kind of snug on the normal body but I haven't tried them on the new 61 cm body. I can try them on my Troy if you want.
Ordering through Legendoll is kind of expensive - I think if you go through a Taobao service (what I did) the items will be a lot less expensive. Legendoll advertises the trousers I got for $20 and I got them for $15.
I also have a few clothes from TTYA (a little big but muh dolls look good in them).

You don't need to. I appreciate the ideas and help! I often buy from alices collections and mybayer2008 on ebay, but sometimes their sizing is hit and miss. however, I'm not sure I'm up for the wait. Lol!

Also, since I know you had one, should I be getting an 8-9 wig or 9-10? :P These little things I forget about until I near the end of my wait. LOL!

 

why is peakwoods items all out of stock?

 

No probs! 8-9 wigs fit best for Shaia. Especially Crobidoll 8 wigs- like it was made for them. I have a couple Switch wigs that are beautiful, but the way it was styled seemed like it would be for a bigger headed doll. Leeke 8/9 is a hit/miss but the last few I purchased from them seemed too be too big.

do you mean the dolls or clothes? The doll they usually release for a period at a time and if you miss it, they usually open the ordering period for that doll later on in the year. For clothes they usually restock unless it’s a limited.

I've never actually joined this thread before but I actually have two floating Dandy heads I would love to find a body for sometime! I have a Cosmo and a Bella the Moon and they're just so unique looking I love these dolls so much

 

I just wanted to share that I bought my grail doll Dandy Bella the Moon on the last day at the last minute of the ordering period. I cannot believe I am finally going to have him. I don't think I have ever been so excited about a doll before. I ordered him in white with the Seize face-up and requested dark eyebrows - not sure if they will be willing to do that but I thought it was worth a try.

Congratulations to everyone who ordered a new boy!! Seize is so handsome I would have ordered him if Bella wasn't available.

@wonderful-world if you have any pictures of your Bella the Moon head I'd love to see him (and Cosmo too of course)

My Shaia shipppppped! Peakswoods told me originally he wouldn't be sent till September, so what a surprise this morning! I had to rush to buy eyes and a pair of pants-- which I'm sure he will arrive first anyways. But still, exciiiiited!

 

I’m in absolute shock, I won the Peak’s Woods heads from Resin Rose I kept the white Dandy Troy because he’s who I really wanted, and passed the lavender pink Dandy Tristan to my friend who adored him! Has anyone asked recently when boys or bodies will be available next? I can ask myself but figured if they’ve already been asked recently I should check with fellow customers before bugging them with a repeat question
Here is my new boy I finally can use these pink Oscar Real Eyes I’ve held onto so long.

 

I ended up asking myself, and they replied there will be Dandy bodies during their Halloween special from October 1-15 I’ll be saving money to hopefully participate, but I know their layaway is there as well finally joining the Dandy family!

 

So I was bad and didn't share when he came in! His eyes and pants are still MIA so he's borrowing from Kai for now, but here he isss

He's gorgeous. I didn't realize he had freckles, which is beautiful to me (I love freckle dolls) The peakswoods bodies are amazing to top it off, definitely not a regretful purchase.

I am still finishing my long layaway for Keith the Beast but The Halloween Event will start from 5th of October and they will offer gorgeous made dolls in white, normal, GREEN and LAVENDER PINK.
