Has anyone else gotten their refund this week? It's been two weeks since one member has gotten theirs?

When I was in financial trouble I asked my family members for help, it was not easy, I felt a lot of shame, and it was the worst time for my family too, but it was the only way and I had to listen a lot, but they had my back. It got worse and worse the longer it took me to ask for help.
Please make an effort to solve this somehow

I sent a PM to Zelinas. Hopefully she gets to see PMs through her e-mail and stuff. I don't at all want to sound threatening at all, but it feels like the only way we've gotten her to really respond to us was to prod her through her mother.

What I find frustrating is the fact that she seems to think that we are the ones who are harrassing her, and sees nothing wrong with her silence.

 

I hate to say it but the only way we are probably going to get any update is to contact her mother again.

 

Zelinas was selling her Migma and Amphibel on Ebay... but now they're suddenly being sold by a different user, who isn't Zelinas. This is not promising...

Who is going to contact her mother this time? This is so stupid that we have to involve a sick relative in order to get any kind of response from her.

I sent her mom the following messege, I also requested to be added as a friend. Last time I sent her a messege it was when all of this happened but she never read my messege. Maybe because I´m from another country and she thought its a fake or something. Since I´m not a friend it goes to the "Others" messeges, maybe she does not read there. I recomend other people to messege her too, especially people from the USA.

Hi Connie, I´m trying to get in contact with Madeline again for a while now, I participated in a doll order she hosted on April 2013, from a store called SOOM dolls and I would get a part (the wings of the doll). She hosted the split on the international doll forum called "den of angels".
She disappeared with mine and other peoples money. She did came back after we contact you before and said she would refund everyone but then she just disappeared again and only refunded a cheap wig for some other person, I never got my money back!!! She owes me $81,50 (78,40+ paypal fees).
She owes more money to other people too. I belive she wants to make things right but has no money to do so.
She said you´ve been very sick and I´ve tried to get in contact with her many other ways without bothering you, so I´m so sorry for this and please dont get upset, I just want my hard earned money back, not a cent more.
Please tell Madeline to make things right, I belive she really wants to.

I don't see any other options right now. If Zelinas isn't going to step up and talk to us, then the only effective thing to do is contact her mother.

 

If Zelinas wants, I''m willing to take over the sweet witch order, so that we can get our sweet witch part, if she is no longer able to pay for her portion of the split.

 

I was willing to do that with the Turb/Roxen splits, but she avoided any questions regarding the orders themselves.

 

how can you take over an order? The dolls long since been sold out?

 

Apparently messaging Soom will sometimes cause them to transfer it to another person, but you need either the order number if not the person who placed the order to contact Soom.

 

oh and we're going to asume she never placed the order...

 

Soom did tell me the orders were placed. They just couldn't give me any more info because I am not her.

 

I had gathered (from the MarlyChu thread) that the owner can transfer the order to another person or at least ship it to another person. But without Zelinas doing this, we're stuck with no items. I wish I knew what was going on with our order, but Zelinas completely ignored any question regarding it.

Well, that's what we've been asking her and she hasn't been responding to any questions about the order. She said it was paid off in the split thread, but when asked what happened to the order she just ignores our question or avoids it. She probably didn't pay it off like she said (and she can come here herself and tell me otherwise with PROOF) and used the expenses for real life things. It's one of those things where we should've seen the warning signs (leader wanting small parts and wanting to do the longest layaway possible) but I guess we got too excited and jumped on since she wasn't have problems before.

I highly doubt she's forgotten. She's been avoiding us. She took our money and probably had good intentions, but now cannot face us because of what she's done and cannot make it right. If she could make it right, I'm sure she'd be here working with us, but so far only ONE person has come in with a refund from her.

So her mom came to talk to me today, she apologized deeply and she asked me to make a list of everything with values and your guys paypals too.
Since she is sick (very sick I belive) and she is not working anymore she said she would refund us slowly (after the end of setember) unfortunately since she used any extra funds she had trying to help Zelinas (her daughter) with rent and even like this she lost the apartment this week she has nothing now, but she will help her daughter to make things right. She also asked me to one person only to talk to her since she is very sick and cant get nervous because of her illness.
So I look it up and this is both splits

I have no idea what she will think about when she sees that Madeline owes us 883,50 for the sweet witch and 967,80 for the Turb&Roxen since she asked me time to send my small part compared to the rest :/
About moving the order to someone else, I really think zelinas took most of the money and spent, she probably paid like 1/5 and spent all the rest on her expenses. Sooms demands 1/5 to not cancel the order right? Its hard since Soom refuses to give us any info...so does Zelinas) Because of this I really do belive a refund is the way to go here even if takes time since both orders on soom are are $3225,30 dollars D: Almost double the value she owes us!
So please PM or send an email with your Name, nick on DOA and your paypal, and I think would be a good ideia to send her paypal print screens of payments, just for her mom feel safe that we are telling the truth about the money we sent her.

I really hope Zelinas get a new job, get her life in order and refund us because contact her mom was hard on me too, I just feel bad really :/

 

So she asked me to contact her by email only and send her the list of everything, I sent her a print screen of both split threads, and updated the info of the values I forgot to look at the end of the thread, zelinas actually marked out the infos there. Only mine she forgot to update i think.

I sent in my stuff, apparently mine is more than reflected on the split page because I included paypal fees.

 

I also included paypal fees, but for $80 the fees are not so huge that I'm inclined to not demand that she refund the fees too.

well guess what? I just got my refund today!
I feel a little bad because It came form her mom, but I´m sure they are working together on this.
I´m rooting for them, they are good people, Zelinas is just a person that made a mistake in hard times, I forgive her.
Hope she can work all her problems and make it right by everyone.

Glad to hear that a few refunds are at least going through. This makes me hopeful.
