Resolved Paging Zelinas - Resolved after 2 years

    1. I didn't want to have to do this, but I feel it's definitely been long enough for any kind of update on this.

      Zelinas started a Soom split for the Turb and Roxen, which was started in May. While I know this was also a layaway, it was completely paid for in August, supposedly.

      Still, nothing.

      There's been no contact from Zelinas for almost a complete month now. I've sent PMs, as well as messages on Facebook, but have had no response at all.

      Normally, I would be more patient, but it's been over 5 months since this split was started. I also wouldn't be so upset if it weren't for the fact I've got almost a complete doll that I'm waiting on.

      I'm also concerned on one of her replies in the split thread of "working something out" with people who don't want to continue waiting. Um... what?

      All I want to know is, where is our order? Even if there's still a wait, I know I would like to have an order number to at least try and track it down through Soom, just to see if and when it's been shipped out. (Or if it was even ordered at all, which I'm hoping is not the case.)

      I understand that Soom has been backed up with a lot of their orders and all, but there's also people who've had splits and orders that were completed after our split that have already gotten them in.

    5. I'm also in this split for a full doll and would really want an update at the least or a full refund. I've been in a split with her before and never had a problem so I want to believe that it's just something with Soom being behind but I'm getting worried and I have a lot of money in this split.
       
    6. I'm in this split as well-- for the fantasy head (faceupped), hands, and feet. I've noticed a batch of Turb/Roxen orders come through the Box Openings thread and am hoping ours was in that influx.

    9. I was in a split for a soom sweet witch and have gotten verturaly no information science October. Is she ok or did she take the money and run?

      I'm waiting on the human head and outfit paid in May. She said it was paid off. How will I get my money back what do I do?
       
    10. I'm also in the split for the Sweet Witch's horns and eyes. I wasn't really concerned until I saw this thread. I'm still not EXACTLY nervous, because Soom seemed to take several extra months to ship some of the dolls from the Little Gem Free Choice Event, and they did eventually arrive, but the fact that other people are also seeking Zelinas, plus the fact that she hasn't been on the forum recently, makes me begin to worry. I also saw some of her dolls posted on the Marketplace as "moving and can't hang on to all these dolls" sales. What if Soom shipped them to her old address?
       
    11. Even if Soom shipped to her previous address, there should be a forwarding address through the post office that would ship to the new address. I would also hope that she would have informed Soom that she was moving (as I've had to do with Luts before) and they should then update and ship to new address.

      Even though she lives not too far from me in Georgia, I have no clue exactly where she lives, so I have no way of tracking her down and traveling to her house.
       
    12. Any news? She's got a doll on layaway with me, and she missed her last payment.

      I think she was trying to work with us on it, so I don't think she took the money and ran, but her lack of contact is very concerning. She's apparently going through a hard time right now, and I'm a little concerned that possibly our orders were bundled together with the Sweet Witch one and that parcel may have gone to the wrong address. It's too bad we can't contact her for order number information to ask Soom ourselves. :(

    16. Hello, I'm not sure if this will help or not but I believe her eBay user ID is zelas*goth-lolita*fox you may want to try contacting her there since I see she currently has a listing up and several in Completed Items.

      I saw she had a SOOM Sweet Witch head listed on eBay towards the end of October.

      From the description it's clear she did not have the doll in her possession at the time of the auction.

Not part of either split, but if you go search on the ID Zelinas on the Soom site's QA, she posted last on 5/17 and 5/21 of this year, the title of the 5/17 post was Layaway and the title of the 5/21 post was Payment. Perhaps, even if Soom won't give out details of another person's order, they might at least confirm if the orders are in trouble, or exist properly? If this needs to be removed, please do so mods, sorry!

    20. I am not involved in any transaction with Zelinas.

      If you read her signature, it's clear she is going through some tough times.
      Hopefully she will be in contact soon, I sent her a message on eBay on the off chance that she or a family member will see it.

    21. I'm friends with her on Facebook, but she's not replying there either. I also don't think she's going by her real name there. She's going by Zelinas Sabre Metalium on FB. Good luck getting a reply.
       
    22. Iยดm getting the Wings from the sweet witch split and paid half on one month and half one month after. She did not updated the second payment on the split thread, but payment was made on the correct date and Iยดve been waiting ever since.
      I hope she is ok, she did said her mom was really sick and she was moving, maybe she is just overhelmed with her personal life.
      Other than wait we ask soom if an order was made using her real name and explain that we are from a split and we are having a hard time contacting her. Just so we know for shure that the order was made and if it was shipped yet. Can they provide that information? A phone number would be great too. guess the phone will be hard for them to just give us... But the rest is reasonable.

      I just got done filing a dispute with my credit card company. They told me to tell all you to call your card company's as well.

      If the doll does come. I will reverse the dispute so I can get the doll parts but as of right now I have my money back.

    32. I posted a Q&A asking Soom if she even placed the orders, and if the order haven't shipped yet. Let's see what Soom has to say.
       
    33. The good news is, Soom replied to my request. The bad news is, I'm getting a popup message telling me "please login" whenever I try to view their reply, and it won't go away, even when I'm logged in... but I filed another Q&A ticket asking why it's doing that.

      I did a search on the Q&A board and maybe its our order number. I hope its from this year.

    35. I found that too but theres no way to know WHICH order number it is
       
    36. Slipping in again, the postings aren't listed by year, but in descending order with the most recent entries at the top and the oldest on the bottom. That order number is from the year 2011, you can tell by the order number. The first four digits of the order number indicate the year, so that's an old number. The Payment and Layaway titles are from this year; when I saw them in search results I actually scrolled back to May of this year to find them.
       
    37. It's a little strange, because she mentioned on 10-30-2013 that she had an indication they would ship November, but I don't see any inquiry made around that date.

    39. So the orders were actually placed. But Victoria can't tell me whether the layaway has been completely paid off, or when they might ship. I am not sure if "They are currently on layaway" includes layaway orders that have already shipped or not, but.. the wording makes me feel that they haven't shipped yet.
       
    40. It's good to know that the orders HAVE been placed. I just wish she could give us more information.
      I wonder if we let Victoria know that the person who made the order has been MIA for over a month, whether or not she could give us any more information. I mean, there's not much we can do considering we've tried contacting her in every way possible with no response.

      I'm honestly hoping nothing has happened to Zelinas or her mother. I wish I knew where she lived, because I would totally make a road trip up to Dalton just to see what's going on.

    43. One of the last PMs I received from Zelinas before she went MIA she had indicated that she should be settled into her new house (she was moving) by the 1st of the new year... So hopefully she'll resurface then?

      One of the things that hadn't even occurred to me was, if she moved, she might not have internet now! Some internet companies literally take weeks after you schedule an appointment with them to send out a technician!
       
    45. It's true, though she could always have gone to a Starbucks or Internet cafe :| also, don't most people have the internet on their phones these days?

      As soon as we get some sort of response, it will be posted here.
      Until then, all we can do is wait. Jumping the gun and suing her, when we don't even know what's happened with her, is probably only going to make matters worse.

    52. I don't like the waiting any more than everyone else, but there isn't much we can do until we hear from her. For most of us, the window for chargebacks has passed. Also, she does seem to be going through a really rough patch. Once we can determine where she's living now, and if Soom ships the orders to her, we can come to a resolution.

      I am totally disillusioned with what I just read
      In addition we can no longer make use of paypal and my insurance will reference the responsibility with my Bank
      suddenly I will probably not be refunded I am horrified by this kind of behaviour

You know, I don't know why it took me so long to realize this but I suddenly thought to check my paypal for the deposit payment I had received from her - and I actually have her previous address! I know she's moved now, but perhaps there's a way to find out from her current address if she left a forwarding address to her new one, or perhaps at least the current owners can get in touch with the housing agent or something who might have a way of contacting her...?

    59. I'm going to hopefully take a day once I get back from DC to ride up to Dalton and try to track her down. I've been so stressed out over work, school, and this upcoming convention that I'm going insane. >_<
