i have been paging her for a week, she sent me a doll with defects.

he has a small scratch on his hands too, but my camera cant seems to
capture that scratch .
and theres a small hole when the head cap is close, im not sure
if its suppose to be like that, but my yi doesn't have any holes

on friday when i finally got hold of her, she told me she had sent these photos to the dealer
and she will let me know the update on sat. and its sunday now but i still got no update. im getting fed up.

I haven't paid for the entirety of a doll yet, but I have put down a rather large down payment for a female winking shi-wu twin. I got a reply from mmsedated a few weeks ago stating that the dolls should arrive soon, but haven't heard from her since.

 

I sent several emails to mmsedated and got this reply from her on Sunday.

"The dolls w faceup will arrive at the dealer's and be shipped out within this week. Therefore I'll be able to provide you w the EMS tracking no. latest by Saturday."

 

sedate called me last night telling me that the dealer says she will exchange the whole doll for me.
but i will have it have my boy shipped it back to the dealer, but she will pay the shipping fee, so i agreed to pass her my doll this weekend and have her shipped it to the dealer for me.
im not sure if i will ever get back a doll when i pass her this damaged one. so should i ?

Not nearly as big a chunk of money, but money is money, and she'd like to try to recoup it somehow. There's also a couple of comments in there that might be worth reading for people here, including other people who've been troubled by mmsedated's previous spree's.

(I'm not friends with the LJ user or anything, just trying to help out since I'm on the EGL LJ comm as well as here on DoA since she's not on DoA, so she can't even view this thread much less find contacts of people posting here.)

I'm sorry for the second post. I forgot something rather important.

I asked her to take pictures of the doll, and she informed me that it was already at the courier's so she didn't feel safe asking them to open up the box and take pictures, but I haven't sent her all of the money.

You wouldn't ship a doll out until you got all of the money, right? I mean, I definitely wouldn't.

And like, it gets more suspicious cause she told me that 'he' had his face up done, but the doll I ordered was a girl and when I inquired, she apologized and said I was correct. The amount of suspicion makes me really reluctant to hand over more money, but the problem is I already gave her $90.

Now, I just realized...she said it had arrived at the dealer's place. An hour later, [the second email from her] she said that it was at the courier company. This is definitely suspicious. Do you guys have any advice?

 

I just received two e-mails.

One stating that the doll had been shipped the 26th; she gave me an EMS (Courier) tracking number as well. Which DOES in fact work.

Another is the shipping invoice; she stated that she had decided to bear the shipping costs at first because I had been waiting for so long, but she wants me to pay her back asap. Which, as much as I'd like NOT to considering that I no longer want the doll, I will be paying for as soon as I've posted this.

Nothing regarding the refund I had asked for! I'm assuming that she shipped him out before telling me anything else for that very reason.

At the very least he seems to be on his way. Fingers crossed that he turns out to be in a sellable condition.

 

Wow, why would she order the doll without being paid in full first? That seems really odd. I hope she didn't order mine as well..she never even confirmed my order .

I just received a email update. According to mmsedated everyone should have received shipping notices but me and one other person. My Shi-wu has yet to arrive. She is asking for time since she has yet to hear back from the dealer.

 

I still haven't heard anything from her ! I'll e-mail her again today..

 

He arrived today.

I took him out to check him immediately; he seems to be in rather nice condition. Though I didn't get any boots.

I guess this means that she IS attempting to make some progress, she just isn't doing it in a very good method (especially as far as communication goes). I certainly hope that other sides have heard new information from her!

He's rather pink; pinker than my Domuya, Ricky, and Soom NS items, at least. I also might add that the hands are a lot less 'alien.' I somewhat wish I had a motive to keep him. Alas, he will be added to my sales thread the moment I am able to take photos.
