Eyes Oscar Eyes

Here's my Volks SD13 F-60 (Coco) wearing "The Red Universe" in 20mm. I love them!!

I don't know what these are called but they're my first pair of Oscar eyes and I absolutely love them. I recently ordered a few more pairs and I can't wait to get them.

 

I got my order a couple of days ago. They sent me some sweets too lol! I'll be showing off the eyes in the right.

Here's a closeup. These are the limited Real eyes they had last month. The eyes have brownish, jewel pupils (about the same color as the wig Selmy is wearing) and with a brownish inner ring radiating outward to gray, with freckling. My other pair (I'll show later) looks a little similar, but has light olive green jewel pupils with green where the gray is on this pair.

Same picture zoomed out. I like how small the pupils look with more iris. All eyes I ordered are in 14mm.

I don't remember if I used a filter for the below picture. I was by a window when I took these so my lighting switched from bright to downcast rapidly. His eyes like more grey here than the do in the above two pictures. I think tilting his head had something to do with it too.

Don't ask me to remember the name of these. I picked them up at Dollism in 2014. They're 26mm or possibly 28mm.

@bickazer I got Violet Autumn 2 as well after seeing your beautiful photo and they just arrived. This is my first order from Oscar Dolls and I'm really impressed. I have to say though that their online photo for Violet Autumn 2 doesn't look anything like the eyes in person under most lights, your photo is much closer. It makes me feel a bit lost choosing eyes from their web site.

Omg, I'm super flattered my picture helped convinced you to get the eyes! :O They really are very nice. I personally don't think they look too different? The colors on the website photo do seem a bit cooler and less saturated, but it's not enough of a difference to really bother me.

 

12mm...Name?? I really like them.

 

I find that when these are are put on the doll the pupils looks darker than the company photo. I like dark pupils, so that's probably why it looks more different to me.

 

I just got two sets of Oscar eyes. both are 16mm

you can kind of see the small moon decal. It's hard to see though. it almost looks like mercury glass and can only be seen if the light hits it just right.

Do these run true to size?

 

I’ve gotten two pairs, and yes they were true to size.

 

Hi, Fellow Oscar Eye Lovers!:

I went on Oscar’s website and every single eye is sold out. Are they still in business and, if so, does anyone know how to order the eyes? I’m so hoping they are still available!

According to this thread here, they've gone out of business.

 

You can still get some from dealers who still have stock ( I think Denver Doll, Doll Peddlar, and Fabric Friends and Dolls may still have some?),
