I suspect that I'm going to try to get the SDC Ryu (on top of getting an SDC Renee (and possibly a Kurt (body) for an OC dragon/merboy mini of the Soom Vega Last Song)) eventually. And I think I want to get the default outfit, shoes and wig from Eden.

 

I kinda have fixated on Asuka's wig since it's SO red for a redhead.

I just can't take my eyes off Rei and Asuka (even though I hate the anime) They are just such pretty dolls.

I hope they can be sold to me on volks international. I've tried buying dollfie dreams before but it says they will not sell outside of Japan. Someone told me this was due to license issues.

But in England, we have Evangelion officially licensed so maybe they will let me buy them this time?

Does anyone have any idea of that?

Thank you Ria Ria, I might be the only one that is drawn to Eden. I don't see him as my favorite sculpt but he has a haunting quality to him. might be thinking of dark shadows style.

 

(I hate the anime also...but yes they're pretty! XD) Hmm....since you couldn't enter Volksusa lottery but England has it officially licensed you just might be able to buy it from Int. after event. But if not do not get your hopes down! I'm sure you can buy it from Crescent Shop or second hand. (I got my dream doll second hand because I missed the lottery )

 

Both my DD's have been brought on the market place here which was lucky. I can't get the others brand new though ;__;

I don't like the idea of the third party services either, for some reason it just makes me nervous.

I think I'll send volks international an email and ask about the eva girls. I'm so keen to know.

Anyone have a random guess as to when Volks will put up the info for the dolls? (As in them having their own page etc) Or will this only happen when they are available to order? :/

Anyway I didn't know about her coz she was in the Korea Volks or something like that. XD; But her outfit's pretty much exactly the same as SwD Yui isn't it?

I was wondering, is there anyone in the USA or Japan (apart from shopping services like cresent shop and such) who would be willing to help me get an MDD?

I can't enter the usa lottery because I don't have a US address and I can't order off Volks internationa because I don't have a Japanese address. My fiance has expressed a great liking for one of the demon bane girls and I would love to get her for him.

 

I think you can order from Volks International. Volks have the basic MDD bodies for sale there, but not the new Dolpa character offerings. For regular items and the suspenseful After Event anyone can order. There is a separate Japanese After Event that only folks in Japan can participate in - there are different pages for them.

But finding a nice shopper would definitely work too - and be faster.

 

I can't, I tried several times. I can order the volks original characters, but I can't get the anime based dollfie dreams. I tried before with all the to heart dolls and the haruhi dolls. When I put them in my cart its ok but when I submit the order it says that the items I have ordered can only be shipped to a japanese address.

 

Oh how frustrating!! I think it is because of licensing issues for the anime characters - for most of them I think Volks has to refuse to sell them outside of Japan. Lots of times they are not offered to the US site either.

I would say put up a Want to Buy in the marketplace, but the forum rule changed about that and I am still confused about what is allowed to Post for WTB.

I heard Yui is a young sister of Kurumi. Kurumi was provided for USA lottery, so I believe you will be able to try her! Good luck!!!!!

You're welcome Do you know some dealers (like "We love dolls") that can provide some of limited dolls for USA people? If you do not know about it, you should search and try them. I always envy USA people, because I feel a lot of USA people win their dream dolls by e-mail but a lot of Japanese cannot win limited dolls even with queue in the line for a lot of hours, haha XD

 

Hummmm... SDC Ryuu & MSD Yui are sooo cute! And the MDD are particularly adorable! The characters are beautifully represented

 

I hope they come up with open eye Yui someday. she's very cute, not to mention the
cute outfit. I wonder why Yui has same outfit as Ran.

 

It's my imagination or Ryu is very very similar to Arashi?
I like him so much but he needs a different make up on his lips.

I wish we could see some better pictures of Eden. He's often looking down in his pictures. Is that his best angle? I have the feeling he really looks a lot better than his pictures let on.

I love Ryu tooits been awhile since I bought a new doll I hope to get him.

 

I think too that Ryu looks a lot like Arashi, but also like a mix between Tsukasa and Shirou T. Same clothing style, kinda, and a thin face with big eyes...

As for Yui, she really looks like Ran in MSD and sleeping version! Someone mentionned that she is the sister of whatever doll, Kurumi or Ran? In any case, with her h.naoto clothing and headmold, she's definitively part of the same "story"!

 

The open eye version of Yui would be the FCS F-18 head, she is love!!

I wonder what the chances are of just being able to buy the wig and outfit that Yui is wearing are
