That is sad news about Kun and Ryo, ria_ria. I really want little Kun ;_;. Here's hoping that the US Dolpa in November offers these little cuties, like the NY Dolpa offered the 4 Sisters Yos.

Tenshi, I think you can have hope in next Dolpa in USA. ^_^ This year is very special for Volks.

I could not get YO 4 sister, because I cannot attend events in Tokyo and could not try them. Kun is the first girl SD I bought and I still have her (with poor makeup by me ). I will try her...by queue under the hot sun for many hours!

 

I think I may try for Ryu in the After Event! Although, I'm wondering if anyone knows how easy/difficult it is to obtain SDC girl bodies, as I'd like to turn him into a girl.

 

Ria_ria, I will send you umbrella and ice cold frozen lemonade so you will be comfortable under the sun in the heat

I visited Sato for FCS yesterday and bought Dolpa Guide Book. I have not received Volks News yet but Ryu and DDs looked very wonderful even in monochrome.

 

(About Ryu) La laaa laaa laaa, I did not see nor hear anything about Ryu laa laa laaa (looking away)

you know, he is the only one whom I am tempted to consider right now, LOL

But he is MSD size and I am trying to avoid MSD size

 

Oh I'm kinda glad that I'm not into any of the dolls this round.

I'm a bit disappointed that I don't see anything I like.

But I'll keep checking and something will catch my eye.

 

I wanted to have my own SDC boy since I started this hobby, but I could not meet the ideal SDC boy by now. (I like Arashi very much but he is similar with my Isao and for that reason I did not buy him...I do not know why I do so though.) I need to see clear photos well and consider carefully whether I can pay for him or not. ^^; BJD costs so much!

 

I might want to try for DD Asuka, but other than that... Nothing is calling to me.

Wow, am I thankful that there's nothing but clothes calling to me desperately. YoSD Kun is absolutely adorable, though.

What bums me out is DD Asuka finally comes around, and she's dressed as a dang maid. It'd be nice to get her school uniform. Ah well.

I might just buy the outfits and try to get the limited DD heads/wigs/eyes I like most seperately... I'm running out of room to always buy DD fullsets hehe.

New wigs this time are both SDC/Yo-SD size.

 

Thankfully none of the dolls are calling out to me, maybe besides YoSD Kun... But good lord, I want all of those Blue Label clothing sets!

 

I received my Volks News today, so I scanned some pics for DoA.

 

I'm really going to try to get Ryu. He fits in my family like he is made for it!

I like the yo outfit, but i dont understand why it has to look so "cool"... it would look great without chains and raw ends, it would look great as a pretty outfit with pretty shoes. I like yos to be small children, and i dont know i just like small children to have pretty and cute clothes.

Yo-SD Kun is the one of the cutest thing I ever seen I also love the pic of Cristal and Liz together, I got both these girls and love them to bits! It'd be fun to buy them matching outfits, even though my girls aren't related.

Nope, that's Rei's - socks and shoes should be different for Asuka. The uniform itself is the same, but for a terrible nerd, that sort of thing counts.

 

So what is the wisdom so far, about the SDC: Ryu will not be available during the After-Event, booo. But will he be available by online lottery? Internationally?

(And, he may-or-may-not make an appearance in Los Angeles in November?)


It's awful, I wanted to put a cap on the size of my collection before the dolls start spilling out the windows onto the fire escape! But... a mini Tokyo-Boy-crossbreed SDC who already dresses kinda like my Arashi? Eeegads.... I feel that fishook pullin' on me again... He's magnificent. A junior-Shiro to go with junior-Isao! And I've been eagerly waiting for them to bring out more SDC boys, because that little body is so wonderful.

Wow, SD13 Eden's outfit is really breathtaking. I'd have to see clearer pics of him to make out his features, though; almost looks like his faceup itself is blurry. But he DOES look like Isao's big brother, kinda sorta. Mr Maidens' Promise, eh?

 

My vote is he looks like a more feminine version of Cristal with a touch of the F30/Isao Poor Liz, she's so confused.

Ooo I hope you can get a Ryu, I really think he's adorable but I already have one impossibly spoiled bratty mini who rules the roost, I don't think I could handle another one.

 

I believe that is the Yo-SDs (Kun and Ryo) that will not be available for the After Event -- Ryu and the other limiteds should all be available. No mention's been made yet of the US lottery or the November event. ^^

 

Haha! I really don't have any room either. They take up my whole window... They're kinda cramed together...and two more will add to the friction. Maybe I'll stop after Asuka and Al Azif.........not.

In anticipation, I have a quick question about the online lottery system that I haven't seen asked/answered. Does one have to have a Volks Membership Card in order to apply? I don't want to be caught unawares if/when the next lottery registration is opened up.

Of course, I'll probably have bought something from their webstore by then anyway (they still send out membership cards to web customers, right?)
