Got my shipping notice from Volks today then a text from my mother a few minutes saying that Kun's already arrived

I just wish I wasn't away at school so I could see her now instead of waiting for mom to send her to me

At least this gives me time to quickly shop for Yo clothes and wait for the outfit I ordered get here or my poor Kun's going to be sporting her default undies for a little bit.

Hopefully they didn't use too much hot glue on her eyes so I can get them out ASAP, I've got some pretty eyes waiting for her!

 

I just got this notice from volks:

Hello, this is Volks USA.

We are contacting you because we may have to postpone
the shipping for SDCB Ryu.
He was going to be shipped out in Sep, but we have not received
him yet since his production has been delayed in Japan.

We are sorry for any inconvenience that may cause.

As for his new delivery schedule, we are going to receive him
around end of Oct., and as we received, we will do our best to ship
him out as soon as we can.

We hope for your understanding and patience.

I wasn't expecting him until the end of Oct. anyway
so I don't really mind.
I'm glad Volks gave an update and are doing their best.

well i was expecting him around the beginning or mid oct but it seems we will receive him in the beginning of November, because they will receive it by the end of October.

 

I got a shipping notice for my DD Rei! First time Volks has ever sent anything "early" for me.

That reaaly sucks about Ryu!

 

Hope that others got what they wanted from VolksUSA today.

I picked up the blonde ponytail wig I missed the last time, plus some other clothes from previous releases.

 

I'm super excited because I got the SD16 Rose Queen Nightdress set. I missed it at the International After Event but got the shoes that go with it. Since then I've been stalking this set on Yahoo!Japan but I didn't want to pay the close to $300 price tag for a $80 set. Thank goodness I finally got it today or I'd have been really heartbroken.

It was the only set I tried for today. It appeared at about 3 minutes before the hour and I got it in my cart and checked out in about 25-30 seconds. After I got my confirmation I checked to see if it was still available and it was gone. *phew* I so glad I snagged it!

I hope everyone else got the items they were after!

 

I was able to get both the sets I wanted. The MSD White Nightdress set (still available the last time I looked) and the YoSD London Tartan Skirt set I'm really excited about that one, I never manage to get the YoSD sets!

I was surprised when everything went up those few minutes early. XD I actually only remembered the event ten minutes before it happened. I got the white shoes I was trying for though, so all is well.

Hope everyone else was lucky too!

 

I was able to get the mdd pink and grey outfit but the ponytail and yosd got bought out from under me.

Congrats to those who got what they wanted.

 

I got the Yo tartan boy outfit that I'd wanted.... super excited. I never get Yo stuff!

 

I was able to nab the last Layered Camisole and Denim Set at the LA Sumika , which fits Ciera quite well despite the outfit was made for SD/SD13 girls. Also got a pair of white shoes for SD16. =3

 

I managed to snag all the stuff I wanted, which was nice since last time EVERYTHING I wanted was sold out 20 minutes into the sale (I guess everyone really, really wanted YoSD underpants!).

 

I went to the sale for limited sets-and went home with a yo-sd instead. This is their second shipment of extra yo-sd. I wonder who else will show up on their counter.

 

Hubby has informed me that Alyss is sitting on his desk as we speak.

My Yo-Kun should be arriving today, the "arrival" I posted about was a false alarm -_-.

I just love how she calls Yo-Kun little doll XD.

 

So wee Alyss is home and out of the box (we're lacking good ways to photograph her sadly, or I'd post something of her!). FYI, I didn't see any paperwork regarding the alternate hands in the box, so we might be out of luck there unless there is additional info that someone might have on that front.

 

From what I understand, that was a special offer only with the four sister yo-sd.

I sure hope my Ryo comes with that form, I really want those little "Thumbs up" hands....but according to the angel den website it says:

"Notes:
Ryo and Kun are YoSD versions of their SD counterparts, released to celebrate the 10th Anniversary year of Super Dollfie. They are the second set of such YoSD versions of standard SDs; the first set were Kira, Sara, Nana and Megu.
Ryo and Kun came with an order form that allowed owners to purchase extra limited edition YoSD hands, in four additional poses. These hands were only available to those who purchased these YoSD (or the previously released Kira, Sara, Nana and Megu) but multiple sets of hands could be ordered by each single owner.

 

That note may only apply to Ryo and Kun that were bought in Japan during the actual event.

The confirmation emails and purchase emails from VolksUSA should have any indication of the offer for optional hands. When we bought our YoSDs from the NYDP3, we received separate emails with a link to the webpage in order to buy the hands. The forms that came with our Yos were obsolete when we got them.

Just checked each of the emails I got about my Kun..nothing mentioned about the separate hands, other than what's on the VolksUSA site. I don't remember there being an indication of anything other than a form with the doll, so it appears, at this point, it's just a matter of emailing and trying to get the paper.

Meantime, I took a cruddy camera phone shot of Alyss..figured I'd let her say hello:



She's wearing the natural ponytail wig instead of her default, and I'll eventually change her eyes when I'm less lazy (there's just dots of glue, thankfully!).

 

I didn't get an order form with either Kun. I'm sad; I wanted optional hands!

Anyways, my two little ones arrived today. One's off to her new owner tomorrow, and one's here to stay. I think you can guess which is which. Stupid Volks hotglue.

I want to order optional hands too. But I cann't find any order form was included
with the doll. Does anyone know how to order?
All my dolls (SDC-Ryu, MSD-Yui, YO-SD Kun, SD13 Eden) are safely home now.
I'm very happy.

 

I'd suggest emailing Volksusa and asking them about the optional hands order form and hopefully they'll allow USA lottery winners to order hands too

 

woohoo my yui is home... she's so cute XD; I'm trying not to look at her too much though! I think I may have to get rid of one of my msds now cuz I'm out of room T^T...

I'm really impressed by the outfit too! It's not like I haven't seen a collab outfit before but *^* I dunno! It's just sooo cute!

I received an email from VolksUSA today about ordering the optional Yo-SD hands, yay! Only problem is, the link doesn't work....

 

I got my email today also about the Yo hands, but the link worked just fine! Maybe try it again? They might not have had the page up when you tried. Hope it works for you!

 

My link worked fine too. Sometimes with a big link like that email browsers will only hyperlink the first line of text, so make sure the entire URL is linked or copy-paste the link.

Anyways, I emailed Volks to see if there was any way I could order these hands in white skin. I have a Snow-White Yuh as well as a Kun and it would be lovely to have optional hands for both. I don't have high hopes that they'll say yes (I'm sure small production runs are not feasible for them), but you never know .

I'm with you guys waiting on the US shipment of Ryu's. I hope people who've gotten there's already will post more photo's.

Oh man! Already my Ryu's tracking says he's been delivered to the South San Francisco depot today! This is about a 20-minute drive away from where I live in San Francisco-- and yet it says he will be delivered here tomorrow. So cruel.

I had better finish those new shelves.

 

mine shows it's in massachusettes. only an hour away... but it says it will arrive next wednesday lol. but sometimes it arrives earlier than usual, so I hope I am around when it comes.
