Osaka Dolpa 5 (8/3)

Thats odd....I was able to order from the sumika shop already!!! Its more than an hour before it should start??? I didnt get everything I wanted though....maybe there will be more later on...

Actually...I think I'll pass for this,even if I actually am able to get the item I want (Chances are it'll be gone in seconds ¬_¬) - the shipping is just crazy.

 

Well, I got two of my three wanted items. But the one I missed was the one I wanted the most.

I guess I'll turn to Yahoo!Japan for it, or wait until VolksUSA has it. It's the WRC Rose Queen Nightdress Set/ SD16 Girl that I wanted so much.

I got the SD13 nightgown set and the SD16 shoes. Not terribly bad considering how difficult the After Event can be.

 

Lol Kittybongo, Lucky you to get that dress set!! I clicked order, but I guess I was a nano-second too slow cos it didn't end up in my cart. And that was what I wanted the most too.

Did ended up getting another dress set I wanted and 2 wigs, so can't say I fared too badly!

 

Missed out on the Yo-girl outfit. REALLY wanted that for Alyss when she shows up. However, I made up for it by getting her first wig. The ponytail wig was love

...and Willington has two new outfits now too. *blush!* I didn't quite intend for it, but both were very nice and they were *gasp!* available! So for a first after-event, I can't consider it too horrible.

 

I got my item, the SD ruffle shirt and capries, but I tried for my friend for the yo girl outfit, and it was sold out to start with I think, or there was only like 1 or 2... But I got her the msd black dress she wanted as well! And now that's it's almost 5:30 am, I think I'll go back to bed....

 

Wow, for once I'm able to do the dolpa from my home, it used to be I couldn't even load Volks website at all. I guess putting the dolls on lottery really made a difference. =D

I just asked them how I could understand how it works! So, very nice for them to tell me! Now everyone else can know too!

 

I wish Volks would email me my password I can't find my old registration email anywhere. I have the set I want in my cart...just can't log in (I emailed them an hour and a half ago)

 

I wasn't able to get either of the blonde ponytail wigs, but I did get the natural black and dark brown ones.

Also picked up some other clothing sets that I'd been keeping an eye on for awhile.

 

I entered the Japanese website lottery for Ryu, but didn't have much hope, and it turns out I was right *sigh*.

However, that works out for the best, because I went to Lalaport Sumika and picked up Eden. I really didn't need to buy two dolls anyways! I drew a horrible number, and both Ryu and Yui went INSTANTLY. Eden, however, wasn't sold out even by the time I'd paid for him and left. Poor guy. Well, at least I gave one Eden a home *heh*

 

wow... some how I managed to get the two items I wanted (the blue and white dress sets that match for SD and MSD girls) I also got the volks news with Kurumi and a belt XD I was so surprised some of the items were still available!

 

I managed to get the Yo-SD Ponytail wig in Ivory that I wanted. :3 .. The outfit that I wanted was already out of stock when I ordered (some many hours ago), probably for the best too. heh.

 

Does anyone know if the Osaka 5 Tenshi No Sumika items will be available on the Volks USA site at a later date, as they were for Dolpa 19?

 

They should be available in a month or so. Only rarely have items not been available for sale on the USA site and the only times that come to mind are because the items had some serious flaws

okay, thank you! ^_^ I have my fingers crossed! heh. I did find on the site somewhere that they ship out items 14 days after ordering. Not sure if that applies to the new items, but, here's to hoping! ^_^

Really??? did you get notice or something? My order form says it was accepted, and paid .. but It still says;

Like, there's no indication that they've been shipped, or anything. And I haven't received any e-mails. .. I didn't receive the "confirmation e-mail" yet for the approval of my credit card.. just the confirmation of order form.

I hope everything went through.

 

I haven't received any sort of shipping notification either. I'm sure they are just working their way through the orders one by one and our shipping notices shouldn't be too far out.

 

Ahh, okay. Well, I do hope things are okay then.. I'd be devastated if it turned out my wig was gone. Y^Y

 

I got two emails last night...one stating the payment, and one with the shipping notice. Both for clothes.

If you have the order number, perhaps you can follow up with Volks on it?

I got my payment confirmation and shipping notice today too, so I think it should come for everyone who's order/paid in these few days!

 

Hmm, checked my mailbox, nothing as of yet. Going to check the website... T^T .. I e-mailed volks too, nothing as of yet. I know the payment went through, it was charged through my credit card.


EDIT: still nothing on the website for me. .. And I e-mailed Volks yesterday, still no word from them either. Hopefully they will soon. :'(

 

Still nothing for me as well.. possibly tomorrow. Sometimes volks is super quick and sometimes they seem to take their time.... If I haven't heard anything by Monday then I'll start worrying, it hasn't even been a week yet

 

Agreed. I've personally never ordered from their international website, so I have no idea how it generally works. ^_^; .. But I have ordered from VolksUSA.. which is maybe why I'm so spoiled when it comes to communication. hehe. ^_^;

Did anyone else buy the "WRC Early Summer Outing Dress Set/ MSD Girl, SDCute Girl, MDD(S&M-Bust Fixed)"? The dress on mine won't zip all the way up on my small bust MSD girl because it is too small >_<

 

I got my wig today! I'm wondering, if anyone else ordered the Yo-sd Ponytail wig? Because mine seems a bit ... messy, and it doesn't fit quite right. .. Just wondering if anyone else has this issue?

It's not really noticeable per se, it's just, when you feel her head (compared to other volks yo-sd wigs) there's a bubble there on her head. :P .. And I can't push it down any further, without it going over the eyes.. heh. ^_^;

 

Can you fix the general messyness at all with a little conditioning and brushing? Or maybe even a little trim?

Eden's still available! And he's absolutely gorgeous... I'm fighting the urge to order him. It's interesting to think about why we hobbyists in general find some dolls so popular (ex. Volks Renee, Bianka, Rose, etc.) and other equally stunning dolls not as popular. Or maybe Volks just made more dolls of this particular mold? As for me I'd love to add Eden to my household, but my credit card disagrees!

Osaka dolpa clothes and stuffs are available in Volks USA on September 27th at 11:00am PST according to their blog.

 

YAY for second chances on outfits I was so bummed not to grab up that Yo girl outfit last time..

 

Since Volks said they'd ship the Osaka 5 dolls out in early October, I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask them if they knew yet what day that might be. I was thrilled when they sent me this reply:

That is good news! But perhaps they mean they have shipped the items from Japan to the US store (I think they might be the ones to ship the individual items)? Either way, it's good news... can't wait to get to go to the Volks store again. ^_^

mrsmarks - I think it means they're shipping from US -> customers now . I'm pretty sure the dolpa dolls go from Japan to US on a boat which is one of the reasons it takes so long for us to get our dolls... plus they don't send shipping notices to customers until they're actually sending... so if they're sending notices soon that must means our dolls will be here soon !!

Jeez, is IS almost October after all, isn't it? Time flies when you're resolutely NOT looking at the calendar. I ordered my Ryu with the extra Self-Standing Service, so he won't be here till November. *pout* Well, I've waited for that kid for 3 years, so I can wait another month.

The Kerbey Lane newsletter said that they're going to be shipping out everyone's orders, too (just received newsletter today, matter of fact).... Must mean that the dolls are on American soil! And must mean shipping-notices soon. Sweet.

 

I haven't got my notice for shipping yet. I checked my status still the same no tracking, I hope I get it tomorrow.

 

You know what is funny? For one dolpa I got a shipping notice, but for the other one he was just randomly sent to me without any notice even my order status from the May dolpa still doesn't have a delivery or tracking number although the doll was sent.. .I wonder if my Ryu will just magically show up one day or if I'll get a tracking number

Woah! I just got a shipping notice too! Last time I participated in a VOLKS USA lottery they assigned shipping notices but the dolls hasn't been sent out until a week or so later. Either way, it's nice to know my little Kun is actually in the states and has my name on her! It's early either way--- they said October and I wasn't thinking to expect anything until late October (when I'd be out of town and harrassing the hubby on the phone to check to see if she's shown up or not!)

I can't wait to finally see the super secret order form for a pile of tiny little yo hands in various poses!!!!

Double Woah! I just checked and it said it actually shipped! That's defintely diferent from the 1st time! My little one will be here next week too! Crap! I'm not sure what I have for her since I didn't anticipate arrival until early November (after my trip!) Yeah!!!! She's going to be able to come to Boston with me!

I didn't get a shipping notice for my Ryu. I hope they shipped him just didn't give me a notice.

 

I've heard some things about Ryu being delayed. I know Kerbey lane isn't going to get him until sometime in November.

 

We Love Dolls told me next month's shipment due to his being delayed in production. I would assume that meant October, not November! It wasn't October when she told me that!
