Volks knows how to keep people on tenterhooks!

 

She was available at the AE, but was ridiculously hard to get! Hopefully Volks bumped their production numbers for Ryu for those of us that were unable to get him in the lottery.

 

Ohh I see! I must've been thinking about a different doll . But I do imagine she was nearly impossible to get. I gave up ever trying in AEs after my first two @@. I too hope there's enough Ryus to go around... it would be sad if people had to resort to paying the gouged prices like the ones on ebay..

 

They didn't think she would be popular. Due to having other SDCs sitting there still for sale, they didn't make many of her so that was why she was hard to get. I know someone who asked Volks themselves.

turynn - gawds you too?! I found one of my dream dolls at a very reasonable price and purchased him, so for me it will be neither good nor bad if i win or loose this yo kun. But just not knowing when there are other things going on coming out and popping up, it's a little annoying waiting around all day and I'm gonna be really annoyed if I don't know by bed time.

No email. Order pending on order status.

Looks like so far only Ryu is starting to see cancels.

Hubby and I will check again later tonight.

 

Hmm... well Ryu is no longer in my cart but Yui still is. Still no e-mail though. Hmmmmm!!! *Tries to wait patiently* Do you think they cancel by doll or by order?

Depending on the outcome of the lottery I may/may not have to pass up my dream girl (even though... you know... that also means getting another awesome doll so it can't be toooo bad). I should've known by now many tasty dolls pop up for auction during dolpa time *shame* XD;. Oh well! Congrats on finding one of your dream boys though ^_^ I hope you enjoy him!!

Kun will be coming home to join her sister Papi and her brothers Kuuta and Ayumu. I am so pleased -- I was job hunting and couldn't get to the NYC Tea Party this year to try to get one of the four sister Yo's.

Earlier on in this thread a number of people said their orders were cancellled, so I don't think everyone got what they put in for.

 

I won Eden and am thrilled. I needed a big boy to dress and play with. He won't come until November as I requested him to be sanded. I am so relieved as I have too much to worry about right now!

 

I won Kun! OMGYAY! My Yuh will have a playmate soon .

But my boyfriend won Kun too, because he also entered since he knew how badly I wanted her. Oh dear :/. I didn't think there was a chance both would win, but I guess I was wrong.

Yeah-- the description on the volksusa site says that she will come with the super secret squirrel form for yo optional parts. I personally would love to get the clasped hands so my Tinatsu and Kun can hold hands!

WooHoo! I won Kun & Ryo! My very first Yo's! Kun was my first SD, so I knew Yo-Kun had to be a sign it was time to get one of the little ones. And she'll have a handsome little playmate too!

I resisted buying any cute little shoes last week until I knew for sure, but now I get to go shopping! (I am such a sucker for those shoes!)

 

OMG! I won Ryu! I was worried there for awhile since everyone seemed to want him! Congrats to everyone who won!!

In November. I got extravagant & ordered Self-Standing Service, so that I wouldn't have to take him apart anytime soon. (SDC Boy bodies = lotsa pieces an' parts. Me = fond of KIPS but lazy about body maintenance.) But, what's one more month to wait for a rotten little cupcake like that? Oh woobiewoobiewoodjacutie thing. He is going to be one of those adorable boys who amuses himself in the school cafeteria by turning his eyelids inside-out, just to make the girls scream and spit their milk across the room.

My bank account got slapped twice today. Ryu = me running out of wigs. So, I submitted a kamikaze furwig order. Sheesh, self XD.
