Sure, I'll help you! Its midnight, I'm bored, and I want to take pics of Ryuichi anyway!

Sakuma Ryuichi is a Luts/CP Delf Shiwoo, and he's technically 60.5cm tall, which is a hair over 2 feet. They're also known as a 1/3rd, since they're compared to a 6' tall human.

Keep that in mind when you see these pics, okay? TWO feet tall! >; P

I thought this was fitting, since he's Sakuma Ryuichi from Gravitation. He's a little over 3 manga tall.


Two spray cans and a can of MSC aren't tall enough

Not only does he TOWER over a gallon [half-gallon really] of milk, but he towers over Pikachu, my cat too! She loves him...or trying to nest on him, anyway!

ok so i'm looking for a size comparison shot of a 60cm (or reeeeally close to it) BJD (pref. male) next to something super common - like a 375ml can of coke or an iPhone 4, taeyang, pullip... (anything thats common really)

any help will be much appreciated!

Here is a really quick shot, very badly done but forgive me, its almost 1 am here.



What you can't see is that the rule measure him out to just about 2 feet tall. This is a luts 60cm Elf shiwoo.

 

The 30cm doll in this picture compares to a Ken and the grid they're next to is a quilting square with inch marks and is just over a foot tall.

 

Echo is about as tall as eight Oreos.



And larger than Bandit, the Hermit crab.

Oren (Resinsoul Song) is just slightly taller than the card tower that me and my friend spent nearly 2 hours building at university (yes we were bored, procrastinating students)

 

Can I get pictures dolls next to a 3x5 index card? I'm trying to get an idea of just how big some of these dolls are and an index card is one of those easily found, standard sized objects that will make for a good reference. Thanks!

 

Here's my mini (MSD) who is 45 cm, or about 3.5 index cards. Dark picture is dark, sorry!

 

First, please appreciate how difficult it is to fit an entire Soom Mecha Angel into one photograph, let alone stack things next to him.

Lalyraa (Mecha Angel Vega, height = 80 cm) is about 10 lipsticks tall.


He is appreciably taller than two 750-ml bottles of booze. I thought that booze bottles might make an easy household reference for some of you who don't wear lipstick. xD Hmm, I can't find my flask.... but, that'd probably fill in the gap.


On the other hand, Jimmy (Volks Rei-tenshi fetus type, height = 10 cm) is exactly 5 jars of glitter tall. Without the mohawk.

 

OK, I was inspired even further later today... because, sooner or later, everything boils down to shoes.

Turns out that MSD-scale dolls are taller than they seem. If you are a standard 43cm boy type, like the AngelRegion Little Fair, you're about as tall as a pair of cop boots.



Nico is wearing stack-heeled boots himself, so subtract a half-centimeter or so (and another half for the hair).


But if you are a strapping 45cm Iplehouse JID, like Max here, then you're about as tall as a pair of high-heeled knee boots.

A Honey Delf (26cm) is about three canvas shoes tall


while a Delf girl (57cm) measures at just above seven of them :3

 

Fitzwilliam is a head taller than my electric violin.
I'd like to add that they are both standing(not leaning). I'm quite amazed that I got my violin to do that.
And, Merlin(my cat) has lovely blue eyes. Not creepy red eyes.

My boy Clive (41cm KD BORY) is just as tall as two packets of biscuits!



Not as tall as a hungry cat.... (who apparently thinks Clive looks positively delicious.)

To start us off, I've got Kendrick, Delf Vampire Shiwoo/DZ hybrid, who is the height of a violin plus some rosin.

Joined by his werewolf counterpart, Cro, SOOM Chrom, who is almost as tall as the bow.


We also have Kat, LUTS Junior Terra, who is the equal to six mini bottles.

First of all, excuse the blurry pictures from a constant angle. My camerabattery has a way to die right at the moment, when I need it.

With two 1kg dog food cans! Marvina (MsDoll Pan) is about 1,5 cans tall, where as Gen (KID Joy) would be taller if he had his HEAD... Now he's just about as tall as two cans :l


Marvina is a little bit shorter than half a Nyttja-frame from IKEA and Gen is slightly taller than half of it.. That's a 40cm x 50cm frame btw :3


A mnf box is about the same size as the frame...


So... um. Yeah. Toiletpaper rolls. Four toiletpaper rolls and five of the Maned Six are as tall as Gen would be with his head, but sadly Marvina can't even beat four ponies or three rolls of toiletpaper ¤_¤


And lastly, the most used commodity in my apartment. Gen standing high over a 1,5L diet cola bottle. I think Marvina is by this point completely fine with being shorter than pretty much everything. (Atleast she has her head intact. Unlike some other tall schmuck..)
